Food Rating: 5/10 Price: 8/10 Ambiance/Service: 8/10 Overall Rating: 7/10 The shop is pretty small and clean, with a good amount of seating both inside and outside. Nothing notable to say about the service. Brown Bear - $8.75 Rating: (5/10) At first look, the dessert is almost too cute to eat. The taste, once you actually start eating it, was really light, almost tasteless, with a lack of depth to the chocolate flavor. There was also very minimal rasqpberry and strawberry filling. Garlic Bird - $8.75 Rating: (1/10) This dessert was honestly pretty awful. The pairing of flavors is a bit odd and bold. The crisp green grape flavor is very difficult to pair well with the earthy notes of jasmine and taro. The combination of grape and a pasty taro filling doesn't work well, in my opinion. It feels like a bad take on the trending jasmine grape drinks with chewy taro balls. Strawberry Mousse - $7.50 Rating: (4/10) It was okay. There was too much going on inside this small dessert, and the flavor of the jammy interior was a bit weird. The description listed strawberry and pistachio jam, raspberry puree, chocolate crystal jelly, and Baileys Irish Cream. Egg Tart - $0.99 Rating: (10/10) If I ever come back, I'll buy a dozen of these egg tarts for $12. Pretty good, and the price is unbeatable.

Artisan Pastry fans rejoice, the shop has relocated from Mission to Main Street in Alhambra! The new space is wide open, bright, and welcoming, with a couple of small tables inside plus some outdoor seating right on Main. I've tried a few of their mousse cakes and Portuguese tarts, and everything has been delicious. Those adorable fluffy animal cakes might look too cute to eat, but trust me, they're totally crave-worthy! As someone who loves anything chocolate or mango, I know I'll be coming back often. A fun treat to try: freeze-dried mousse cake bites. They'd make an awesome ice cream topping! Highly recommend stopping by if you have a sweet tooth.

Dessert in Alhambra, Los Angeles, California... When my friends asked me where we were going for Dessert, I replied, "Patisserie Too"! I had this place bookmarked for the cute pudding bears! I didn't know that there were many other options (shapes and flavors)... and baked goods, too. Some of us joined the Loyalty Program and got a free egg custard tart... yay! It was yummy! The cashier was very patient with us! Thank you! Of course, I had a cute bear... it was creamy and not too sweet. I did feel bad about cutting him up into bite-sized pieces. Haha! Note: we all walked over from another restaurant that had free covered parking!

I checked out Patisserie Too as part of my own eat all the baked goods tour of the 626, I sadly did not eat all the baked goods. Its a small shop on Main in Alhambra and there's a lot in the back as well as street parking. It's a brightly lit, pick up and go type place though there are a couple tables out front. The baked goods look really cute and enticing and I ended up going for a mystery box since I wasn't after a specific cake and the mystery aspect seemed appealing. I also got 6 egg tarts, which were a great price at $1 each. The baked goods/sweets looked better than they tasted flr me. The egg tarts had a texture that was a bit off putting for myself, it was more of a steamed egg texture than a silky custardy filling. Flavorwise, they were ok though. The mystery box was fun and I got an apple cake, peach cake, and a panda cake. Now the mystery box is day old cakes so keeping that in mind, they are like cream based "cakes" and are essentially cream covered gels/jellies of some sort. The flavor and textures were good, very light cream with strong fruit flavors (the panda was also a peach flavor, I think). As a set of the mystery box price, I think the cakes are fun to try but I wouldn't, personally, pay those prices for essentially shaped cream. I'm glad I tried a new spot but ultimately don't think it was super impressive and found most of their desserts and baked items to be average, or a little less so as for the egg tarts.

Their new location is fairly small and is conveniently located in Downtown Alhambra They're open daily - Sun-Thurs - 10:30am-7:30pm - Fri & Sat - 10:30am-9pm Parking can be difficult but there is nearby parking structure and parking in the back, as well as street parking. Seating is limited since there isn't that many chairs and tables inside They have a promo for $0.99 Portuguese Egg Tarts! The egg tart was so delicious! The crust was so crispy and flaky. The egg center was so fresh and not too sweet. It was so buttery and mouthwatering! This was definitely worth the price and one of the best egg tarts I've ever had!

Such cute pastries and yummy, unique egg tarts! Had a foodie day along main st, and stumbled into this shop. Aesthetic is so cute. Egg tarts on the wall, cute videos rolling and the bathroom painting made me lol. The pastry display was amazing. So many unique options, with the cutest designs. We got one of each egg tarts and a couple character mouses. Egg tarts were great. Favorite was the caramelized one, since the crust was flaky and the filling was like creme brulee without being too sweet. The coconut egg tart wasn't giving egg tart, but it was amazing. Least favorite was the original, since it was a tad overdone and giving scrambled egg. We then got the capybara and garlic bird mouses. I'm not an orange chocolate fan, so the capybara was more cuteness than taste for me, but the bird was great. Staff were helpful and efficient. I'd come back!

This is my first time at their new location. In my opinion, it's much better than the previous one located near the San Gabriel Mission area. The other place had a lot of wasted space. This new spot is located on Main Street, a bustling area of Alhambra. It's brighter inside, clean with a few tables. They still carry many of their very pretty petite cakes, and they're definitely photo worthy. For me, I still get my usual box of their delicious, creamy Portuguese egg tarts. The crust is m flaky, the filling is soft and warm and the whole thing is delicious with a buttery taste . Even after a day, a couple of minutes in the toaster oven, these are still great. I tried their cakes before, and although they're very nice to look at, I still come back for their egg tarts.

Ordered their Portuguese egg tarts online a few days in advance before my party! The egg tarts were delicious and were only $1 each. In this economy? Insane! Oh and did I mention that the best part about it was that it tasted delicious? Not too sweet and crust is light. Service was excellent. I was in and out of there in less than a minute. There is some seating outside the store. I found street parking to the right of the store. Would highly recommend and will be returning!

I had been seeing pictures of Patisserie Too all over my feed and finally made a trip to see what the hype was about. Let me start by saying this place is absolutely Instagram-worthy. Every dessert in the case looks like a tiny masterpiece. You can really see the care and detail that went into creating them, which is so impressive. The cafe itself is bright, cute, and has a really nice ambiance. It feels like a perfect little spot for a date, to be honest. A huge practical plus is the parking situation, which is easy with plenty of street spots and a lot nearby. Now, I feel a little weird saying this because the presentation is a full 10/10, but the taste just didn't match up for me. I tried a couple of their most popular items, and while they were okay, they were kind of bland? The flavors weren't as bold or memorable as I was hoping, and some textures were a bit off. It was a bit of a letdown after how stunning everything looked. My experience was just okay, so I'm landing at 3 stars. The staff was nice, the place is charming, and I wouldn't say no to coming back with a friend to try a different pastry and a coffee. But if you're going purely for an incredible flavor experience, you might leave wanting a bit more. It's a feast for the eyes, for sure. I plan to come back to give this one more try.

I recently saw all of the cute photos of Patisserie Too from my Yelp friend Ian A. and I knew my niece would enjoy the cuteness. Patisserie Too is located down in Main Street in Alhambra. There are public parking structures or street parking down in this area. We parked in a public structure a few blocks away and walked over. We got really lucky with timing because there was no line when we got here but it got busy soon after. They have a cute selection of little cakes and some pastries. For the cakes, my niece and I made our decision based on what was visually more unique compared to other things we've seen. We got the Baby Shark ($7.75), Garlic Bird ($8.75), and King Panda ($8.75). That was a lot of treats already, but we also got the Portuguese Egg Tart ($0.99/each). Service was nothing memorable. They have 3 small tables inside a I think 2 outside. Not much seating, so I'm really glad we got first dibs at a table before it was busy. When we sat down, we arranged our cakes for photos. These cakes were definitely made with molds. They are super cute and unique molds. The garlic bird was the best tasting combination and texture. The baby shark was already dripping blue sweat when it was served to us. The mousse was a little off. Halfway through eating there was the chocolate cake base that was strangely only in half of the cake. The panda was probably the worst and we didn't care to finish it. The mouse was strange in texture and the filling definitely had too much gelatin because it was rubbery. Cute but the technical execution was lacking for my preference. The egg tart was also pretty good. Not as flakey as I like it to be but it was an inexpensive treat so I wouldn't mind getting it again. Definitely a cute spot to take friends and family who enjoy cute treats. Not sure if I come here frequently myself, but it does bring a visual wow factor.

I came in the morning a little after they had just opened to grab some pastries for my birthday party that I wanted to share with my friends that will be coming. I heard about this patisserie through referral and was excited when I saw the options and affordability they currently offer for their soft opening! Upon arriving, there was about 3 parties ahead of me and the entire bakery filled the air with smell of egg tarts and various pastries. I was just in heaven at that moment. I was immediately asked if I needed help, but of course I didn't know where to start so it took me awhile until I had to decide. I ended up ordering 10 of their Portuguese egg tart, 3 of their cheese tarts, and 3 of their coconut tart. Portuguese egg tart - 5/5 there seemed to be some differences between the ones in the baking paper vs the tin one with their texture, but overall it was creamy, eggy, and I want to say the tin one was flakier and crunchier than the baking paper ones but still very delicious. For $0.95/ea, that's such a steal! Cheese tarts - 4.5/5 it was very rich and creamy. There was some minor graininess to it, but nothing horrible. There was a hint of lemon which added lightness and acidity to the tart. This one was $1.75/ea Coconut tart - 3/5 Overall I thought there should've been something to compliment the coconut, but it was a bit overwhelming to me. Texture is fine, but I feel it should have another flavor to balance the entire tart. I do want to come back and try the other pastries and what they have to offer. Everything there looked divine and so cute! My total for everything was under $30 and well worth for a small party or potluck you may be attending.

Less than $10 each so better than others but still moreso a fun cute treat - Mango: mango mousse w mango puree cake base and matcha chocolate shell (8/10) - Strawberry: whipped cream with strawberry puree and cake base (7.8/10) - Garlic bird: very neutral flavors of green grape, jasmine, and taro. But adorable (7/10)

They've now moved to a new location in Alhambra on Main Street!! Still as casual as prior spot, and as many options for mini sweets and treats, and they have some limited seating inside. The parking is a shared lot in the back (which can get busy during rush hours). Still love the Portuguese egg tart deals. This new location has self service stations to order but you still have to get in line to pick up the order -- so it's a bit of a hassle as you'd think this makes it faster!

This place has the BEST tong sui and such a big variety of it too!! This type of dessert is…read morerelatively niche for the area but it's SOOO good and also probably really annoying to make at home and source all the ingredients yourself. There's stuff like mango pomelo, black sesame soup, coconut milk base with your choice of ingredients, even drinks and fried food.... There's gotta be something for everyone! I LOVE peach gum and haven't seen it that often but here there's a whole menu section for it! It's a jelly texture and is full of collagen and is really good for you. Snow swallow sounds scary but think of it like vegan birds nest? Not quite sure what the health benefits are but I'm sure it does something. Snow Swallow with Taro balls and Peach Gum in Coconut Milk, cold ($9)-- Can't vouch for the hot version but the cold one is great!!! It's so refreshing with a good mix of textures. There's jelly from peach gum, silky from snow swallow, chewy from taro balls.... everything just works so well together. The coconut milk is blended with other things I think because it's not jarring like coconut milk straight out of the can. It's sweet but not too sweet. A perfect canto dessert!! Portion size is good for 1 person which makes it kind of pricey $9 for a small bowl .... But nowadays even boba is $7-8. And this is harder to find and has collagen and health benefits so I say it's worth! There's a big shared parking lot in the plaza so parking is easy. Inside is clean with lots of tables. Bathroom is clean. Overall definitely will be coming back :)
