I like that it's spaced out and you're not over crowded. Our waitress Catherine was awesome. She's always nice, friendly, and patient. She gave us the menu specials and allowed us to chat a bit before ordering. My friend ordered the cheese wontons, general tso chicken and dan dan noodles. The wontons were really good. I like that they were sweet and crispy. I'd get them again for sure. The dan dan noodles were spicy and flavorful. My sister and I got the Mongolian chicken, storm fish, and eggplant. This is my go to meal that I normally get, it's always tasty. The storm fish normally comes with a spicy mayo sauce, but they didn't have it this time. The fish was still ok, but the sauce is what gives it flavor, so it was a little bland this time. The eggplant and Mongolian chicken were yum, hot, and fresh!! I definitely recommend this restaurant to alot of people. I just think it's more elevated compared to regular Chinese takeout food. They have many delicious options on the menu, and again the vibe is chill. If you're planning a group dinner this is definitely a great option. The rooms have a lazy Susan on the table to make sharing the family style meals easy. Check them out!!

I found maybe 4 at most. It was also disappointing most of the sauce was on the bottom. So it's imperative you stir everything from bottom up upon receiving the order. The top layer tasted like it had barely any seasonings because of it. I wish I had known the meal came with copious amounts of mushrooms. I otherwise would have specifically requested the order be made without the them. I am not a big fan of mushrooms and especially the fragrant kind like the shiitake variety. I feel like I had mouthfuls of mushrooms in each bite and that's all I tasted. Perhaps I will order something else they are more known for the next time I believe they specialize in Szechuan cuisine.

Just so happens to be some of our favorites- fried bananas-3$ Spicy shrimp roll -$5.95 Spicy edamame-$4.00 Free refills on non alcoholic drinks ! So we went with Pad Thai - to share (huge serving we both ate a plate there and had enough to bring home for each of us) 2 - YES 2 orders of the fried bananas (4 pieces in each order) Spicy edamame and a spicy shrimp roll. The service is as out of the world as the outer space paintings on the walls!! She was so quick and friendly never left out cups empty and always so kind. If you want some great food with a huge variety and cool vibe I recommend Forbidden Palace. Especially during Happy Hour (must dine in to get the deals)

I then called the order in a few minutes later. Apparently the order did go through and when my husband went to pick it up, he was charged a second time for the phone order. They would not refund him so we got charged twice for their error. We did get the food twice, but this shouldn't have happened as the website said there was an error. We also didn't get our fortune cookies..in either bag..so no fortunes for us I guess. We've come here a lot over the years, but unfortunately this will be our last time as they refused to correct the situation before my husband left.

Sophia and I drove from the Peninsula to see if the trek was worth the experience. We were greeted by one of the hostesses and seated immediately. Around the dining area, the decor is covered with anime material. From artwork to figurines to even them showing an anime movie, it's pretty neat especially if you're a fan. And foot traffic started to pick up after we got seated. Great timing for the both of us. After a few minutes, we were ready to order. For apps, we picked Age Dashi Tofu. This one took a minute because I'm used to soft tofu, but the mid-firm was fine. Each piece was fried nicely with each ingredient working together. For my main dish, I chose one of their specials, szechuan style spicy beef noodle (ramen). Very good stuff. The beef shank was cooked perfectly along with good amount of bok choy and scallions for the veggie portion. At first, I worried about the spice level, but it was mild and not having yours truly cough up a storm. All in all, a great experience at such a quaint spot. This won't be the last time you'll see us. More great stuff to try. Till next time :)

Amazing food and service! Love the authentic food and vibe of this place…read more Everything was perfectly season and tasted really good. Warning, the Dakbul is really spicy and the portion is for more than one person. Chicken feet are bone in and you're given a little bucket for the bones. Don't forget to ask for an apron and gloves as this can get messy. With the spicy and sweetness of the rich sauce I can see why this is paired with a nice cold drink. The rice balls were also really great to help cool you down. At the end of the meal you're also given a semi frozen yakult. Perfect way to end a great Korean meal.

The meals come with sides like kimchi, seasoned cucumbers, broccoli, and what they call mashed potatoes (it tastes more like potato salad and if you like potato salad, you'll like it). I appreciated that the extras were included. We ordered onion rings, and they were delicious very state fair vibes, crispy and flavorful with a good dipping sauce. We also built a customizable cup (more like a rice bowl) with kimchi fried rice, spicy pork, and onions. It was so flavorful that we didn't even need sauce. We tried the kimbap (similar to sushi) and the beef fried dumplings both were really good. Customer service was solid. They greeted us right away, walked us through the menu, and let us know ahead of time that the fried chicken would take about 15 minutes. Everything else came out quickly. I also loved that they have pictures on the menu and displayed up front. As someone new to Korean food, that made it feel welcoming and easier to order. Overall, 10/10. Great food, good service, no complaints.

I always do dine in there because it's clean, never too loud, and most of all COMFORTABLE. (I hate when a place isn't comfy dine in wise). The owners are always friendly, and everything I've tried so far I've really enjoyed. I really love their pizza lumpia, really unique but classic take on a staple! The Monte Cristo is also a really unique take on lumpia, and absolutely delicious. Everything is just so fresh and crispy there. Nothing beats that crispy crunch of biting into a fresh hot lumpia, and they really get that at this place! I suggest trying the sampler, which allows 3 different types of lumpia so you can really go on a tasting adventure there!

Since then, my family and I have been back a few times. The concept is creative, and the quality is definitely there. The lumpia is fresh, crispy, and well-made, and I appreciate the variety they offer. It's a fun way to experience different flavor combinations and put a unique spin on a Filipino classic. That said, while I enjoy many of the specialty flavors, I still find myself preferring traditional lumpia. That's more a matter of personal taste than a criticism of the food itself. The fusion flavors are good and worth trying, especially if you're looking for something different. The staff has always been friendly, and the overall experience has been positive every time we've visited. If you're a lumpia fan, it's definitely worth checking out. Even if you end up like me and still prefer the original, you'll probably find a few new favorites along the way.
