And foot traffic started to pick up after we got seated. Great timing for the both of us. After a few minutes, we were ready to order. For apps, we picked Age Dashi Tofu. This one took a minute because I'm used to soft tofu, but the mid-firm was fine. Each piece was fried nicely with each ingredient working together. For my main dish, I chose one of their specials, szechuan style spicy beef noodle (ramen). Very good stuff. The beef shank was cooked perfectly along with good amount of bok choy and scallions for the veggie portion. At first, I worried about the spice level, but it was mild and not having yours truly cough up a storm. All in all, a great experience at such a quaint spot.
