    Almond Milk Tea + Bubbles
    Virginia H.

This is a convenient boba spot while shopping around the mall. They offer a variety of selections from milk tea to yogurt, slush, coffee and other specialty drinks. I ordered from their app and they were offering free toppings every Monday. I got the Almond Milk Tea with Bubbles. I always adjust the drink to less sugar and light ice. It was not too sweet and had a good amount of bubbles. It does get crowded with a long line, but I was easily able to skip the line and pick up my drink from the pick up counter after I ordered from the app! There are a couple tables and high tables for people to enjoy their drinks while taking a break from shopping!

Very good. Located inside Tysons Corner Center. This is just what I needed while walking around the mall. Employees are friendly, helpful, and patient. Ordered a Milk Tea and it was delicious. Cool, creamy, and good tea flavor. Some seating is available. The store is clean and organized. Can't go wrong with Kung Fu Tea!

I have been wanting to try Kung Fu tea since moving here, but today was clearly not a good day for it. I downloaded the app, thinking the app was connected to the store, but it evidently is not. In other words, the app will accept orders regardless of what the location can offer (or in my case, cannot offer). What this means is that you can order whatever you want, pay for it, and then 1) not get what you want 2) not be compensated for what you paid for. Now, I don't blame the employees because they clearly don't have the authority to give any coupons or credits etc. they really should work on their management structure and the authority they can give. This would significantly improve customer service. Instead, I have employees who aren't sure how to give a refund, can't really offer you anything for next time, are very apologetic and trying very hard to keep it together by closing down the whole system and sending customer to the other location. But then what? It's really a managerial issue. I mean I'm happy the ingredients are so fresh because you're constantly running out but maybe you should try delegating some authority to your teenage employees? Promote a few people? Do something? Quite disappointed in missing out on my addons. A boba place running out of boba is very sad. Then when we replaced my crystal boba for grape popping boba it was mango instead (we don't like mango apparently). The non-kiosk location has decent seating and is quite comfortable. The kiosk is very hard to find IMO and also not very comfortable with no drinking areas or even a clear pickup location. Until they reform this I'm not sure I'll be back.

The KFT inTysons has been one of my go-tos for bubble tea throughout the years. The lines are generally okay - the stand is usually less busy than the store. I stopped by again yesterday and ordered my usual: milk tea with Oreos and boba. It looks gross but tastes so good haha. My one complaint with the drinks at KFT is I've found their boba to be less consistent than at other places - I prefer my boba soft and chewy and I've gotten pearls which were a bit harder and crumbly. Also the drinks are a bit expensive with classic teas starting around $4.55 and milk teas at $5.55. Overall I'd say there are better boba stores in the area but the store is so conveniently located within Tysons I know I'll be back.

Another KFT location but not in the layout of a store! It's a booth on the upper level of Tyson's corner with long lines and fast service. The employees have a pretty efficient system down where one individual focuses on taking orders, another is making drinks and a final person is handing them out to their respective customers. I ordered 3 drinks (Wintermelon with red beans, Taro milk green tea with nata jelly and the Passionfruit green tea with nata jelly). For some reason, KFT's boba is naturally on the sweeter side and so I requested 0% sugar and less ice for all beverages. I personally don't appreciate the artificial tasting flavors but instead enjoy a more herbal tea taste for that authenticity in my bubble tea. Still, my family and I were all very happy with our drinks and how they ended up tasting. Although service is fast and their boba is definitely up to par, I wish their location was more of a store rather than a booth/stand. The lines can get very chaotic and it becomes an inconvenience with people who are walking by through the mall. In my opinion, I definitely like the Maryland locations better since the layouts there allows people to hang-out, play board games and mingle more so than this one. Still, if you're craving some boba while shopping, this is the spot!

I like me better when with you!!!'n I gotta new boo at KFT!!! Passion Fruit Slush with Mango Popping Bubbles!!!! The flavor is totally there! I like popping the bubbles and the juice comes flowing out!! It's like fireworks in your mouth!!! The service is quick and efficient! Everyone is super friendly and even though it was busy they were busting the drinks out like a well oiled machine! I like that the screen is facing you when you order so you can confirm or deny what's on the screen. The gentleman who helped me was super patient as I had to log back into the app to pay. Yes I kinda held the line up but he was real chill telling me to take my time, appreciated that! I will most definitely stop here everyone I visit Tyson's! Until next time....

I think it's important to say this is a kiosk not a store. I was looking for a store for a good 20 minutes. I hope I save someone some time! It is located on the 2nd floor right next to Auntie Anne's! Just follow the pretzel smell! They only offer one size here (large). They seem to maintain a level of busy-ness but this is to no surprise because Kung Fu Tea is Delicious. I always get the Passion Fruit Slush with bubbles. If you want a slushee make sure you specify that because one time I made the mistake of not specifying and apparently they also have a passion fruit tea. This is a grab and go Kung Fu Tea. They are fast and on the go. There is no waiting around as there is not a lot of space. Still my go to Bubble tea joint. Probably always will be! Love Kung Fu Tea!

Always a great experience with Kung Fu Tea! All the drinks I've had are fantastic and I don't feel bad spending $5-6 on it because I know I'm always going to get something delicious. A good place to start is the milk tea or Thai tea. I really like the passion fruit slushy, it has a strong passion fruit taste, so for passion fruit lovers like me it is excellent. The boba are delicious and never hard. Sometimes you get boba from other places and they are still cold or half frozen, not here!

I love the choices Kung Fu Tea has! Literally something for everyone and my daughter loves it. We were doing a little shopping and stopped by because she's addicted lol. Always a tasty treat while I'm being dragged through the mall with my tween lol. I tried the sunshine pineapple tea and my kid got the almond milk tea with those bobas on the bottom they were both super delicious!

    Shelly Z.

We came here twice in two days. Tried a mango slush with boba and jelly the first time and the taro milk tea (hot) with boba the second time. Both were delicious in different ways. We got regular sweetness for the milk tea and it wasn't too sweet. On yelp, it says that you can get a free drink by downloading their app for the first time. We downloaded their app, with no free drink noted anywhere, so that was annoying.

6/28/20 Its been a while, but I am back to try this place out. Once again new faces are at this store. The old crew might have graduated from high school. Still this store isn't as busy as the other store I saw in the mall. Line wise anyhow. My passionfruit slushie is almost ready. No added sugar in this drink. We will see how it goes.... not bad:)

I love Kung Fu Tea. This was my first time visiting this location. It's located inside of the mall, separate from the food court. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we ordered. They were also very fast, as we got our order pretty quickly. The seating area they have is very quaint (not pictured). It was my friend's first time trying milk tea. He didn't like the flavor he ordered, and the staff was so kind to switch his drink to something different without any hassle or additional costs. I would give the customer service 10/10.

The barista helped us out with any questions and was very kind. It was super cozy. The seating was extremely comfortable and I can see myself being here for a while. There was some cute merch too. The place was decorated with colorful posters of the outdoors, which followed the decor of what was in the rock climbing gym upstairs. Speaking of upstairs, you have to use the rock climbing gym's bathroom and the elevator was out of order. It wasn't a short jaunt either to go up the stairs (lol) so this was a bit inconvenient, which made us have to leave earlier than we wanted to. My husband is disabled and it would be difficult for him to use the bathroom upstairs without the elevator working - and there was no ETA on when it'd get fixed. This is an ADA violation to not have an accessible bathroom. FOOD/DRINK: They do have snacks and food to purchase but I did not get some this time around. I got the house special of an iced spiced demerara latte with oatmilk (rich, brown sugar, cinnamon syrup) - it was delightful and delicious. Just the right balance. Hubby got cherry lime espresso fizz (on the summer specials menu). He enjoyed it but I didn't particularly like it (too bitter imho). I couldn't see what brand coffee they used, which I like to know since there are certain brands that bother me. But this place didn't bother me. They do have non-dairy/alternative milk. I would come again if I were in the area but I wouldn't really seek it out. I've had better coffee but I've also had worse. Not sure if the hype lived up.

There's some parking available right outside, and despite living in McLean for several years, I hadn't realized there's actually a food hall in the building. That alone makes it a decent option for teleworking or a casual stop. As for the food--it reminded me quite a bit of Paris Baguette. Cakes seemed slightly more expensive, while pastries were more in line price-wise. I tried a jalapeño cheese croissant, a garlic butter bun, spinach egg bites, and a tiramisu iced coffee. The croissant was just okay, but the garlic butter bun stood out--nicely balanced between salty and sweet, and definitely the highlight. The egg bites were comparable to Starbucks; honestly, it's hard to say which is better, but Starbucks might have the edge in both portion size and price. The tiramisu iced coffee leaned too sweet--my partner especially felt it was a bit overdone. Ambiance was pleasant, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Would I come back? Probably to try the cakes. Otherwise, it's not a place I'd rush back to--but still worth checking out once.

I ordered two regular matchas with regular sugar, one blueberry matcha with regular sugar, a regular iced coffee, four cupcakes (strawberry shortcake and mango), and a sesame egg tart. Now before y'all start judging me, these were not all for me . My back is getting big, I don't need all that to add to it lol. Everything was packaged securely and presented beautifully. What impressed me even more was the customer service. Orders are placed on a kiosk that sits a little away from the staff, so I honestly didn't think anyone was paying much attention to who ordered what. Imagine my surprise when one of the staff members walked my order directly to me with a kind and friendly smile instead of leaving it in the pickup area. That level of attention is impressive. Do you know how hard it is to make customers feel seen with minimal human interaction? Kudos to the team for pulling that off. Now, while I wanted to give five stars, there was one small miss. The cupcakes were a bit dry, and the mango filling wasn't quite my favorite. However, the sesame egg tart was hitting on every level. My only regret was not buying more of them and somehow convincing someone to hand over the recipe lol. Parking was easy and located right out front. I will definitely be back to try more items.
