My friends and I have made it a point to hit up every high tea in the area - this ranks in our top 3! The white glove service, super crisp clean and whimsical ambiance, mixed with an array of interesting treats made for an incredible experience. There were many people having a girls day, out with their daughters, and even having high tea as a family. Even if you don't know anything about tea, the servers there are super knowledgeable and will guide you through the process. Starting with the hand towel (so cool!) you begin feeling relaxed and refreshed. I chose to start off with the Gen Maicha, which had a delightful popcorn taste I couldn't get enough of! For my cocktail, I chose a simple bubby rose', but my friends said their cherry blossom flavored tea inspired cocktail was amazing. As you can see, they did not cut any corners with the high tea treats, which ranged from savory to sweet. The peppery pink spread for the scone was one of my favorites. The playfulness of the colors, perfection of the shapes, and subtle but perfect flavors all engaged the senses. I cannot wait to return. For the price point, this high tea was incredible. It was empty on a Friday afternoon for tea so it was nice and quiet, with a whole staff standing there for us. Staff was friendly and responsive. We opted for 1 tea tower and separate entrees. The tea tower pricing seems steep for the number of items on it, but everything was super nice quality and detailed. There were 4 savory bites on the bottom, 3 sweet treats in the middle, and a Dubai chocolate and a strawberry on the top. The savory and sweets were both tasty. With the sweets being mini versions of ones that you can buy in the shop next door. Nothing was too sweet or potent, very mild flavors. And it didn't feel like haphazard standard crustless mini sandwiches. I wasn't a fan of the sweet potato au gratin, a bit mushy and I didn't vibe with the flavors. Everything else was really good and unique. The matcha watermelon sweet was so adorable and delicate; I got another one for home. I also got a smoked salmon sandwich which was more of a toast, but really good with yummy micro greens. My friend's salmon bowl looked really good, fresh and hearty. Both were surprisingly fairly priced --the bowl more worth it I think, from a satiety perspective, but I also liked that splitting the first and the toast didn't make me overly full. We ordered two different teas and we liked both of them, very diverse flavors. The lemongrass basil tea was really good. Afterwards we went to the shop part next door and I bought a couple more pastries to go. I wasn't a big fan of the black milk tea boba, the black tea seem to have been steeped for too long and it was a little bit rough on the tongue. I had recently watched a reel about the snowman boba cups and cute macarons, so I decided to journey all the way to check it out. Unfortunately, the snowman cup was sold out, but the person working the register did offer other Christmas cups (although they did not have a hole for the boba straw) so they were more like containers because you'd need to have an open lid to this container to drink the boba. So with the alternative cups - we still ordered boba. We also got one of each holiday macaron. Unfortunately yes again - our boba was made incorrectly and although the person at the register apologized about it - the seperate person actually making them sighed loudly annoyed with us even though she was the one who made them wrong. They were remade quickly and there was a thick stickiness on the outside of the "cup/container" that we had to clean. Additionally, they gave us the wrong "holiday" container/cups. With the attitude we had already endured - there was no way we wanted to deal with yet another attitude of requesting them to correct another one of their mistakes with changing them out. Overall the poor customer service ruined the experience for us - the boba was fine the macaron were great but as I mentioned there's no way I'd come back and I'd recommend you skip this place too. It's a shame as their selection of desserts looked phenomenal and I wanted to try more. I will look elsewhere for desserts and I'd recommend you do that too. We spontaneously wanted some boba and found this gem in our neighborhood! When we first walked in, we were immediately greeted by the workers there and even got to meet the owner who was so kind and helpful! It's not overly sweet and is bursting with flavor. She got the flavor spot on. They are also currently doing Halloween themed cakes which are so cute! The owner also told us that the cakes are made my scratch in house. So you know the quality is great. I will definitely be back again to try the other cakes and boba flavors. I went to this wonderful restaurant with my husband today. It was an exceptional experience. We were warmly greeted at the entrance. Jay, the manager who took care of us was incredible. He patiently explained the whole menu in detail. We sampled some delicious tea before selecting the Luxurious Earl Grey which was amazing! This range of dishes on offer was extensive and we had a hard time deciding because everything looked so good. Finally we zeroed in on the Butternut squash and a mushroom soups, and the Brie- peach and pumpkin spice sandwiches. The presentation was excellent and the taste was out of the world. ArTea Restaurant & Bar is currently in week one of operation and I expect that reservations will fill up as word gets out. I made some last minute plans to meet up with friends and came in absolutely blind, no Yelp reviews, no TikToks, nothing! Not only was I was pleasantly surprised, I was blown away by the beautiful and thoughtful restaurant design, innovative menu, and sweet service. This restaurant is truly a family affair -- owned and operated by a husband and wife team with input from an aunt who consults on design. There are paintings from the owner's twin nieces scattered throughout the space, some with specific nods to her infant daughter. I truly felt all the love and hard work that went into every detail. The owner was our guide to the restaurant and led us through the business history, the thinking behind certain design selections, and showed us how to use their special hand cleansing towels which was a fun and whimsical way to start our experience. We happened to stop by right as they were setting up their happy hour menu which was a wonderful and affordable way to check out the offerings. We got one of everything on the savory bite menu and the November Me (gin, earl grey lavender, egg whites) cocktail, and multi-colored Head Above the Clouds (lemon, ginger beer) mocktail. Everything that came out was too pretty to eat -- especially the bright pink earl grey deviled egg trio. I loved all of the tartine treats (turkey, peach, and smoked salmon) which had some interesting and unique garnishes that differentiated it from a typical tea sandwich. It was truly a treat for the sights and senses. As we ended our snack, the owner pulled out art oracle cards for each of us which was such a playful way to end our visit. I left thoroughly impressed. As Christmas season rolls around, I am looking forward to booking a holiday tea with my sisters and our daughters. I love fancy hotel teas, but this place was just the right mix of casual, sophisticated, and fun that I love. Came here on a weekday as I was coming home from work. It wasn't too busy. The service itself was quick and you don't feel like you're being rushed at all. It's a cute little space that has about 2 small long tables to quickly enjoy a dessert or bubble tea. Now the main event, the desserts, OMG! I should start off by saying, yes it's a bit pricey BUT you are getting your monies worth. The desserts are a piece of art, literally. I'm sure it takes a while for create these, hence why I feel like they are worth the price. I would say they are about the size of my palm. My absolute favorite right now is the spring egg. The way they made it is perfection. When you slice into it, it looks like a runny egg! The so called yolk is a tart flavor, passion fruit purée. All the desserts are not overly sweet which I love. My husband who is not into sweets like me even enjoyed it a lot. The one that is a miss is the cherry blossom rose. I can't explain it, but it just wasn't a favorite of ours. Now if someone gave me a free on would I eat it, yes because it is good, just not crazy about it. It does look pretty though. I did get bubble tea as well. We stopped by to try out the cafe + restaurant part of this tea shop and it was wonderful. The shop was beautifully decorated with a cozy feel. When we first arrived, they had guided us to a table and taken our coats before giving us time to browse the menu. We ordered the Peach and Apricot Black Tea, Strawberry Cheesecake and Vegan Mini Chocolate Cake. Everything was delicious but pricey. The servers were very attentive and kept checking if we were okay and were consistently removing dishes when we were finished. It was nice to see them taking care of us but it became a little overbearing when they were constantly checking up on us every 5 minutes. (I'm aware this is a personal issue and someone else might enjoy this attention but it was too much for me.) I had afternoon tea at ArTeA for my birthday and it was the best decision ever! I made a reservation for 17 people and the owner was super responsive, patient, and accommodating. I exchanged several emails to clarify the seating arrangement, food and tea options beforehand and the process was very smooth and easy! ArTeA has two entrances next to each other; the first is their boba shop/ cafe and the second is their restaurant/sit down area. If you're looking for a cool, beautiful tea experience then this is the place for you! Restaurant - Their sit down area is very modern. There is colorful, vibrant artwork displayed everywhere and a cool bar with a neon sign. The vibes were definitely not your typical high tea with vintage, floral, and lace everywhere - it was colorful, modern, and ARTSY. There were so many little details that stood out to me like their heart shaped straws, coasters for their teapots - even the color scheme of their place settings/mats. Everything just complemented each other and came together perfectly. Afternoon Tea/Food - They offered a wide variety of tea options which I appreciated. For food, we chose from different towers made up of small bites (but still very filling). Their towers ranged from all sweets, savory, or a mixture of both. They also offered vegetarian options which was nice. l'd describe the food as more elevated - they had unique offerings and high quality ingredients; not your basic cucumber sandwiches that you'd find at tea time. Our reservation also included a cocktail or mocktail and their drinks were so beautiful! I loved how the majority of their cocktails could be turned into a mocktail (and their menu identified which ones). Their desserts were a standout; again, presentation was so cool and artsy. Service - The service was outstanding! 10/10 on their attention to detail and level of care. They definitely made us feel like it was a high tea experience. The owner was so sweet and kind; she constantly checked in on us and took the time to walk us through our tower offerings and tea options. Boba Shop - They have a few bubble teas on their menu along with some desserts. We ran into the owner here again haha which really showed how hardworking she is, floating back and forth between their restaurant side and cafe side! I ordered a strawberry matcha and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. I'm usually quite picky with strawberry matchas but it tasted so fresh and delicious! I also got to try my friend's mango with cute star jellies and it was very flavorful and tasty too! Overall, I was extremely happy with how my birthday tea party turned out! I was nervous going into it because the cost was pretty high ($90 per person plus tax and tip), but it was SO worth it! The experience was absolutely beautiful and photo-worthy. I went back here a second time because the first time was so great! This time we were waiting for our drinks and got to try some of the gelato. It was so creamy and very sweet but not artificial tasting. It's made by putting a cup into a machine similar to a KCup or Nespresso machine. I also tried some of the vanilla and it was super light and airy. Definitely would go back and try some of the other flavors! Promptly seated and the staff was very knowledgeable of the extensive tea and food menus. The food was fresh and plated well. I really liked the innovative menu and fresh ingredients. The entrees were light yet filling. The tea and drink options are extensive; I had a lemonade based mocktail which was refreshing. The tea based sparkling wine had little to no flavor. The tea tower includes both savory and sweet options and is shareable and all of the options were tasty. Right when you walk in, the aroma of this place smelled extremely calming and soothing. The owner of this place (who also owns it with her husband and aunt) was so excited to tell us about all the offerings that their shop offered, along with how much care and attention that they put into their pastries and drinks. They also have dedicated team members for their drinks and for their pastries. You can see that each item is hand crafted with love and care, as these drinks are all dairy free, gluten free, and more. They also only brew their teas with loose leaf tea and no tea bags. Most of the flavors are all fresh too. While the prices may look a bit expensive, I strongly recommend that you do try it out, as you can legitimately taste the dedication and attention to detail in their pastries and drinks. Note that they are still in their soft opening!! Adorable shop with fresh, real teas and a variety of allergy-sensitive pastries. They have a very focused selection of items that they are happy to explain to you and make recommendations on. The pastry case included a range of gluten, dairy, and even sugar free options. You may get slight sticker shock given the size of the drinks, but you have to keep in mind that it is real loose leaf tea and ingredients, not powders. The bobas were refreshing and didn't taste like it was made of flavored powders. The desserts were creative and made in house, I've never seen desserts like this anywhere.
