The tea has pretty much been fire every time. The customer service is always nice too. If your a boba lover, definitely a place to go to.

This place is so nice! The place is clean, the seating areas are clean and they even have a floor cushion seating area. They have some board games on hand and it seems like a nice little hangout spot. Their hot taro Thai tea is really good. I also had the almond milk tea sans toppings on ice and it was really good. Based on the items my husband and I ordered it's one of the better tea places in Modesto. I wish they offered snacks like T4 and T-cups, but their tea is good . Kung Fu Milk Tea with boba a was nice and sweet but overall nothing special.

I've always gone to Kung-Fu Tea time to time when I'm craving boba and my experience is usually amazing and friendly! But this visit tonight was flat out TERRIBLE! I ordered two drinks and one was given with NO boba, when I asked for it and the other was given exactly not how I asked as well. When I wanted the drinks corrected, the tops were popped on and not even put back on sealed tight again the second time. My boba spilled all over me! Took a few sips of my drink trying to take my mind off of what I just experienced and the drink was distasteful and not how it should usually taste. I threw my drinks away. The cashier was not friendly at all as well. She acted like she did not want to be there and when I would try to be friendly and ask about a drink she literally said, "so do you want that??" in such a pushy/rush manner to hurry up and have me order. These were not the typical people who would usually assist me. I'm sorry, but they were terrible. This experience made me not want to come back again. read more

First time visiting. It looks clean and I like how the menu is big and bright. Downside was the music playing loudly with profanity, especially while visiting with my kids. Ordered 3 drinks, they were kinda blah. The strawberry lemonade was super sweet it tastes like pure syrup. I got a Thai tea and it tastes like milk. Love this new tea spot! I come a couple times a week since it's opened. The service is always friendly and they have your drinks ready pretty quickly. The prices are inexpensive as well. The owner has been there every time I've gone. He's very sweet and really cares about his customers and if they love their beverages. My personal favorite is the Kung Fu Milk Tea with Oreos. It's so unique and tastes DELICIOUS. I've also tried the strawberry lemonade with aloe jelly and it was bomb. I highly recommend trying this place out. read more

I have been here a few times now and have been disappointed with each visit. The first time I spent waiting 20 minutes for my drink even though it was not busy. I saw them have to remake multiple drinks due to mistakes and when I received my drink, it didn't taste like it was made right. The second time I went there I was surprised as the cashier wore gloves, touched the cash, then proceeded to wear the same gloved and make my drink. She was touching all the appliances, cups, and ice with the same gloves she was just touching cash and coins with! I got a blue color lychee punch drink and it was just okay. Very strong artificial flavor though. The third times I went were similar to this. I tried to give it multiple chances in case it was just my luck or certain workers, but it seems that it is always like this. I highly suggest going to T4 or tea daze instead for better service and flavor. T4 has better prices along with really good food options as well! read more

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE. I love trying new boba spots in different cities and my go to flavor is Taro milk tea. In my PERSONAL opinion T4 is my favorite place to get it. Once I discovered Kung Fu Tea I was SO HAPPY. I have not found a place I like as much as T4. Kung Fu Tea's Taro milk tea is SO delicious. Compared to T4 you can taste the tea really well and still get that nice taro flavor that I love. I believe he was the manager, recommended their most popular drinks to us and was so kind. I also tried the coffee milk tea which I might just have to go back and get again today. It was great! Very nice atmosphere, very clean, the ONLY thing I wish they had was food! I would love to stop by with friends and grab a drink AND enjoy some food. Seems like such a nice environment to work at so if you guys are hiring *wink wink* let me know! 5/5 stars this place is great. read more

My family loves kung fu tea, we always get the best service but I'm appalled at the conditions the staff is working under. It is 100 degrees outside and the air conditioner is not working. Another customer was behind me in line and she said she had been in almost two weeks ago and it wasn't working. With wearing masks you can imagine how hot it gets. This is not right! read more

update: I am glad to know i just got the wrong order but formula and lids not changed. this is the best boba i've tasted and i've tried a lot so i was sad to think it was changed. will be back for sure! If its not broke don't fix it!! Wtf happened?? I come here at least once a week for the mango/mango snow. Why did you guys change the recipe?? It used to be a bright orange now it is a faint yellow. Was super excited to find a Kung Fu Tea close to us after trying one down south for the first time. We've been to this location twice already. Our drinks have been great and the staff is very friendly. We'll definitely come back again and again. Just one small critique...the smell of incense is overpowering. Came here on three occasions and I was not pleased with any of the three dinks I had. Both the Thai and Chai tea were watered down even though I remembered getting the Chai with max sugar. On my third visit, I got a strawberry lemonade and it was really bitter and tarty...do not ever recommend this drink to anyone. Let me tell you about this place. Don't let all the aesthetics fool you. We went inside and it seems all fine, then I looked at the menu that shows the steps on how they make it. It said that they use powdered flavoring with their "Special Kung Fu technique". I was a little bit surprised that they used powdered flavoring, especially because the place was so ethnic. Then we waited in line to order and they weren't that welcoming, but I ignored that because they didn't have to be so whatever. Now we get to the drink. I ordered a mango green tea with popping boba. It came with extra stuff in it that wasn't in the description and that I didn't ask for, but I was fine with that part because some places do that, but the popping boba that I did order 1/8 of them were already popped. the flavor of the actual drink was so disgusting and bland I had to literally stop drinking it.
