We ordered a iced taro milk tea and hot almond milk tea. It is interesting that they charge extra 75 cents if you order a hot drink which most of places charge extra for cold drinks. Friend got his almond milk tea and told me it wasn't sweet enough. Went to the counter and no one asked if he needed help. There were three people behind the counter. Friend had to raise his voice to get their attention. Finally a girl took his drink to make it sweeter" Simply you can just add some syrup or sugar. That's it. The girl went on and on that the store has certain formula so she doesn't know why it is not sweet. Blah blah blah.....friend told her he just had almond milk tea in another store couple weeks ago. Assuming it's franchise, the materials shall be the same. Anyway, just add more some sweetener that's it. No need to make it to complicated. I ordered 50% less sweetness on my taro milk tea with less ice. Holy Molly, my drink is still very sweet with the boba. I can't picture how the regular taro milk would be like...loaded with sugar?! My boyfriend loves boba so we're always here. Rancho doesn't have very many boba places but when this location opened up its always our go-to. My favorite is the winter melon green tea with the milk cap. Milk caps recently were added to the boba menu and it adds a sweet flavor on top. If you cut a slit and drink it from the cup, the mixture goes really well. But if you don't want to, you can put your straw through and stir in the milk cap. My cousin loves it mixed. My boyfriend loves their milk teas, so if you're into that, it's good as well. Enjoy! read more

If I could leave a zero stars for this review I would. So, I recently came across this place but I always go to the one in Ontario that just opened. I live in Fontana and just got home from a long day and was really craving the Taro shake blended with Oreos. I always ask for the Taro shake with Oreos and I ask for them to blend the Oreos for me. Well, I arrived at this location 10 minutes ago and I asked for the same thing and the girl that was cashiering tonight said that they could not do that for me because it's against the policy. And I asked her you can't blend them? If that is a policy that is pretty dumb. I'm asking to blend them I don't want them just sitting on top I want them mixed in the shake and she said no. If your other locations can do that but this location cannot is pretty stupid and I am a highly unsatisfied customer. Better customer service should have been provided. I was simply asking for it all to be blended. It is not that difficult or too crazy of a request. I will not be coming to this location ever again. I feel as though this location progressively improved since the first time I came here and that isn't always the case. I honestly didn't care for their drinks at first, since it wasn't anything special... well, that's what I did think at first. We came here after having just eaten at Hot Chicks next door. I ordered a Matcha Milk, thinking that it would be as generic tasting as any other Matcha Milk I've had before. As soon as I took that first sip, my thoughts about Kung Fu Tea really changed. It really did taste like a high grade quality drink and I was actually really happy about that. Kung Fu Tea is one of my favorite boba chains. The drink had here was good but I think this location is low-key messy. Not in terms of cleanliness but the service. The employees didn't seem to know what they were doing. I got the wintermelon milk tea with boba while my friend got wintermelon snow cap. The wait was half an hour long, the store was packed! But we didn't know until 25 minutes in that they were out of snow caps. They insisted on replacing the drink with a cheaper drink, and they consistently called out the wrong numbers/orders throughout our wait for other customers. Also, CHECK IN ON YELP FOR FREE BOBA!!! New boba place in town and it has quite an interesting tweak. Originally a chain in NY, they chose to open up shop in good 'ole Rancho Cucamonga. They do boba, slushies, tea and yoghurt (Yocult) based smoothies. They pretty much use only non-dairy in all their drinks and have a fancy selection of non-caffeine drinks too, conveniently marked accordingly on their menu so you can make a quick selection--perfect for those who are lactose intolerant or sensitive to caffeine (me!). They are different from other boba places in that they don't use evil corn syrup, but real sugar instead, which means their drinks are a bit less sweeter than other shops. You can also customize the sweetness level of the drink. I got their hot ginger milk which is non-dairy milk infused with a strong ginger taste--very good for digestion. Their hot drinks only come in one size, which is quite large. I paid $4-something, which I felt was a pretty good price. The ginger taste was really strong to begin with, but after a few sips, it turned into a nice, creamy ginger taste. It was perfect for the cold winter evening. And again, it was good for digestion. So if you go and get AYCE Korean bbq at U-Grill, might be a good idea to stop here after for a nice ginger milk digestif. I'll definitely be coming back to try some of their other drinks. read more

Kung Fu Tea is probably the best, reasonably priced boba shop close to the Rancho Cucamonga/Fontana border. Some of my usuals are the Rosehip Milk Tea, Taro Milk Tea, and Kung Fu Milk Tea. However, since Kung Fu Tea has come out with the Matcha Sesame Milk Tea - this has been my absolute favorite! With the cold season, I always get the drink hot. I like how they have plenty of helpful signs. Service is usually very fast - I typically don't stay too long. The shop is large with plenty of seating options and games. The appeal is more towards the entertainment side, otherwise, I would totally study here. read more

This place is all the way back after entering the driveway near the Tilted Kilt and Baked Dessert Bar. This place has pretty cool decor and some cool music playing. There's something missing though...it seems a little cold as far as the feel and there's a lot of unused open space. It has the potential to feel more "homey" and welcoming maybe with some chill couches and some little study corrals. It could be a great place to study and fill your tummie with boba drinks. They could even add a cute little reading area. I didn't see it before but they have some shelves with games to encourage comradery. Lastly, it would be so awesome if they had yummie snacks like popcorn chicken, fries, and other items like that. Ok. Onto the good stuff...the TEA!!! I ordered a large almond milk tea (cost $3.50). When I checked in on Yelp, I received an offer for a free honey boba topping (normally 50 cents extra). Yay. They do not accept AMEX and charge you 15 cents if your order is under $5 and pay with your card. Now...if they had snacks that should never be an issue. Haha. My almond milk tea was like Heaven in a cup! It was just the right sweetness and I finally found somewhere out here that makes the boba RIGHT!! This is the best boba place in Rancho Cucamonga. Drinks: All the drinks I've tried here have been very good. Their boba is great and always fresh, never hard, never too chewy. My favourite drinks are the Pomelo Tea and the Oreo Wow Milk. Both of them are refreshing in their own way. Their fruity drinks also come with real bits of fruit inside which is great. Also, they use Lactaid, so the drinks that do use milk are lactose-free! Other honourable mentions include the Peach Oolong Tea and the Wintermelon Milk Green Tea with herbal jelly. Ambiance/Atmosphere: This place is pretty big and spacious. The design is what I would describe as modern and clean. I wish the tables weren't glass though, I feel like they're fragile and they get dirty easily. There's an outlet at pretty much all the booth tables, so it's great for doing work. They play tropical house all day everyday, so it's always chill. They have a lot of different card games and board games, so you can have something to do with friends. Overall, great place to hang out and chill. If you're planning on doing some studying, then I'd suggest doing it on a weekday since it can get pretty loud and hectic during the night on weekends. Or just bring noise cancelling headphones. Wishes/Requests: A coffee milk tea would be great, since there's no coffee drinks. A boba float would be cool too. Whenever I am craving for some Boba Tea or Flavored Tea, I think of Kung Fu Tea. Let's start with their service. Whenever you walk in, you are greeted with a smile. The front desk girl, (forgot her name) is always friendly and courteous. She repeats your order just to make sure it's correct, and she always smiles. This is great customer service. Next, their flavored tea taste great. You can actually taste the tea while also tasting the many flavors they offer. One of my favs is their Honey Lemon Tea with Herbal Jelly. Also, be sure to customize the amount of sweetness. I always go for 50%. If you want their classics, then go for their Kung Fu Tea, (I believe it's just their Milk Tea) Overall experience is always enjoyable and since it is in a plaza that is not too crowded, you will never be stuck in the parking lot, looking for parking space. Best place to get boba in Rancho Cucamonga! I've been here a couple times, and I have nothing but good things to say about the staff, drinks, and atmosphere. I get the Kung Fu Milk Tea with Boba and it always leaves me satisfied and happy. My brother got the Matcha Milk Tea and he was pretty happy with it too. The boba is amazing. It's always fresh and it has the nice, chewy taste I prefer. In addition, this might sound weird, but I really like the type of ice they use. It's the crunchy ice so it doesn't take up too much space in the actual drink. The staff is super friendly and willing to help you. The first time I came, the cashier pointed to the menu and said that these were their top 10 drinks and which one he liked. I ended up going with his recommendation of Kung Fu Milk Tea and I loved it. The interior of this place is nice and big. They have many board games you can play with your friends, which is always nice. It's not as crowded during the day, but towards the evening, there are more people so be prepared for some noise. I was literally so excited when I found out that Kung Fu Tea had opened in Rancho after seeing my brother rave about it on his snapstory in a land very very far away.. anyways.. I cannot express how happy and grateful I am to have such a great tea shop open up in Rancho Cucamonga. I have been deprived ever since I moved here from the 626.. it sucked having to drive a distance just to get some decent boba ); My boyfriend and I visited multiple times over the weekend and every time we went in, the employees were very nice and accommodating! They informed us on an interesting brief history of Kung Fu Tea (they originated from New York and have over 100 locations? Whattt?) and told us about the ingredients they use to craft their drinks. This got us excited to take our first sip! The boba here is amazing. Perfectly sweet, soft, and not too chewy. The nata jelly is something to try if you aren't into boba! IMO the boba and pudding go good with milk teas and slushes and nata jelly and aloe go good with fruity drinks :) MILK TEAS: The Wintermelon Milk Green Tea, Taro Milk Tea, and Honey Milk Green Tea are a few drinks that I tried and loved. I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a sweet drink! I have a sweet tooth so I love love love these! **COCONUT MILK TEA LARGE W BOBA IS SO BOMB DUDE PUNCH (fruit flavored teas!): The Grapefruit Green Tea is BOMB AF with nata jelly since the nata jelly balances out the tartness of the freshly squeezed grapfruit! The KF Pomelo Tea tastes kind of like grapefruit-y, kind of orange-y, and it tastes like theres bits of kumquat inside.. so refreshingly citrusy. The Peach Oolong has no added sugar and is definitely one of the lesser sweet punches since the oolong tea taste is more prominent. All the punches have bits of real fruit in them. They don't use artificially flavored fruit powders to make these drinks :) best of all, they fresh squeeze their oranges, lemons, and grapefruits to order! SLUSH: The Taro Slush, Mango Snow Slush, and Strawberry Milk Slush are also really freaking amazing. I like the Mung Bean slush (us chinese people call it green bean LOL as opposed to red bean..) since it tastes like the "mung bean" soup dessert SO GOOD. YOGURT: YAKULLTTTTT! The honey boba is very sweet already, so I opted for 50% sugar. I really enjoyed my drink, and the boba was cooked perfectly. The store is very spacious.
