Stopped to get something refreshing to drink while we waited for our dumpling order next door. The ambiance of this place was a little underwhelming but it was clean. It's very casual and there's a little bit of decor hanging up. The seating is very limited so it's not good for large crowds. The service was great. The girl working the register answered our questions because it was our first time there. I opted for one of the watermelon special drinks. It was a Watermelon Lychee Tea and I added Lychee Jelly. You could actually taste the fresh watermelon blended in the tea. This would be perfect for the summer because the taste is super refreshing and it's not syrupy. I loved it! Came back to Raretea on a hot day and it was the best decision. The ambiance was quiet on a weekday afternoon. Jayden the cashier gave me really good customer service and was very quick making my drink! I ordered a Wintermelon Lemon tea at 0% sweetness and it was a super refreshing drink with enough sweetness. I can't wait to come back! RareTea is a solid boba shop in the Rancho Cucamonga area that will satisfy that boba fix easily! This spot is located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots. Inside, they have a chill and laid back ambiance with about 4-5 tables for seating. For their menu, they have a nice selection of different milk tea, fruit tea, specialty, seasonal, smoothie, and matcha drinks to choose from. Wifey ended up choosing the Roasted Oolong Iron Goddess and I got the Watermelon Lychee Fruit Tea. Both drinks were refreshing with amazing flavor profiles. Ok, so my first sip was pleasantly surprising as the mango flavor came through strong with the coconut chasing it right away. So that was a good first slurp but plunging into the bottom was most enjoyable. This drink was good but the coconut noodles made it super fun to drink and all the flavors just worked well. If they can do this with their smoothies I can just imagine how their tea is but that's for next time. We spotted this little shop when we were out shopping this past weekend. My oldest daughter and I decided to try it out yesterday. We were greeted upon entering. I don't know if they were having issues with their A/C or if it's just the fact that the late afternoon sun comes right in their store, but I noticed it was quite warm inside. There are a couple tables and chairs inside and the place has minimalist decor but is bright and nice. They offer their WiFi password and it seems like it'd be a nice place to hang out and work or study, if it wasn't so warm. My daughter got a mango green tea with lychee jelly and I opted to try their strawberry berry snow cream with boba. Mine was delicious--I got it at 80% sweetness and the strawberry purée was refreshing. The boba tasted good and the snow cream had a savory flavor to it! It really worked well! My daughter was raving about her drink as well. Usually she lets her drinks sit for a while and I wonder if she's going to ever finish them. I really appreciate the manager addressing my questions and offering to remake the drink! I came back and ordered the same drink but again, it tasted the same. I ended up ordering an extra spring tea without milk because I could not taste the flavor of the tea with the milk. The tea is extremely light so anything added to it will totally overpower it. This tea would work for someone who enjoys super light tea but I would recommend it without milk. I prefer stronger teas like jasmine green so I will definitely be back to try that. This place is amazing. We were driving back from Vegas to South Bay LA and I needed a matcha fix. They use real matcha here--not the fake matcha sweetened powder. I got the Iced Rose Matcha Latte and it was perfectly balanced. A touch sweet with rose jelly jam and perfect creaminess. I had to get my husband a milk tea with all the good toppings... grass jelly, custard and aloe gel. They were out of red bean today but both drinks were incredible. Kiwi Fruit Tea with Aiyu jelly, they stated their drinks typically run a little sweeter so I opted to get 80% sweetness and it was perfect. I have never had aiyu jelly, they explained it was an orange flavor type of jelly and it just matched perfectly with the kiwi! We also go the Okinawa milk tea which I also have never seen but they stated it's basically a roasted tea.
