The workers are friendly and can answer any question you have about the drinks. Keep in mind they're having their soft opening right now. Not sure how long they'll be doing it. There's a foosball table and a lot of games to play if you decide to come with your friends and seating for those who want to do homework or study. The drinks are great and I like that the tapioca isn't too mushy it's the right type of chewy. It's also lactose intolerant friendly. I hope more people find out about this place. It's all the way in the back of the empty lot where Ugrill is so people can bypass it easily. read more

Drinks are good, service is good. I hate the fact that they have a 5-dollar minimum if you're using debit or credit. I went and wanted 1 large drink and it still wasn't enough to cover the minimum...it forced me to get 2x the amount of aloe I originally wanted... I order my drinks half sweet so getting an extra amt of aloe made it...uh ...sweet lol. Didn't like it. I'm a huge Boba person. I started off drinking boba at, the worst place to taste Boba which is, a Chinese food restaurant. I then started tasting other Boba places. The perfect Boba places tend to be in City of Industry. Since I have tasted really good boba, compared to this, it was 3/5. The tea could be stronger and the sugar has to be lighter. The cup is small for the amount of money you pay for. The egg pudding and Herb Jelly(grass jelly) taste extremely good. The Boba is great but not as ideal as half and half tea boba express. I was excited to find another tea/boba place opening up here in RC. So when I found out about this, I went the same day. The ambience is nice; there's a foosball table, and a bunch of tables, so you can hang out here for a while. I'm a big fan of matcha (who isn't these days?) so I tried their matcha milk tea with boba and pudding. The boba was really good, sweet and the right consistency (not too soft and not hard either). The pudding tastes like pudding, nothing special there. But the drink itself tasted like milk. It felt like I was drinking just milk with boba and pudding. I can't even taste a hint of the matcha. I'll come back to try other drinks, but unless this was just a one time thing, I'd rather go to Starbucks for my matcha fix. read more

[ I went 3 more times to make sure it was just a bad day but nope] They manage to even mess up making thai tea. Terrible service from Jeremy. I ordered three drinks totaling over $20. I forgot boba in one of my drinks. When I asked if it was too late to add it, he said it was because he didn't want to "mix up the drinks." So I said fine, I'll just order boba separately and pour it in myself. But there's a $5 minimum for card transactions. Instead of just giving me the boba that's worth 10 cents and it selling for 50 cents, he just shrugged his shoulders and said "sorry, should have ordered it when you ordered your drink." Seldom will I take the time to write a review, though this is warranted for the owner's awareness. Yesterday I went to the shop at 7:45pm with my girlfriend. We walked in and there was no one in line so we proceeded to "line-up" behind the couple ordering. As we were waiting and deciding what to order, another couple came in and joined what was the line. Not knowing this, we proceeded to wait our turn. At this point, two other parties came in and lined up behind us. What happens next is where the trouble began... The employee (who had seen us waiting) tells us, along with the other customers behind us, that we were waiting in the wrong place and to join the line. Granted this was our mistake, but anybody in the customer service would know to help the individuals who were waiting first....Even the couple that was in the correct line stated to assist us first. Anyways, that is where they lose 1 star... (POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE)!!! Here is where they lose the next star....When ordering, the employee informed us that it was a 15 minute wait. We were not in a hurry, so we proceeded to order. As we waited, we noticed more and more people coming into the store (25+). As we waited what I noticed was that the employees were working on the "grub hub/DoorDash" orders instead of the ones in the store....Now perhaps that is how they were trained, but doesn't it make sense to quickly process the orders of those who took the time to wait in line and order with you? As I proceeded to assess their work flow, I also noticed that they only have ONE machine to shake the tea (curious why it is called "Kung Fu" tea when that is the laziest way to mix). Anyways, once again, perhaps the smart thing to do is to train the employees to start manually shaking (like a barista/mixologist) or BUY ANOTHER MACHINE!!!! The final star that I am deducting is for the taste. While this is very subjective. If anything, I would like to deduct only half a star (though I am not sure how to do that) since I am sure other palates might enjoy the sweeter tastes. All-in-all I will most likely not return as I would rather make the extra drive to OC/SGV/Rowland Heights/etc for more authentic tasting Taiwanese milk tea. Following strict guidelines set by the CDC, they take their guidelines seriously (6 ft apart, Mask/ Gloves, etc.) and only offering takeout or delivery. Wow! So impressed by this place. It is tucked away in the Tilted Kilt shopping center. We were immediately welcomed. This was our first time there so we didn't know what to order or even how to order. We were walked through the menu and were given suggestions. We finally decided on the Taro Milk green tea with bubbles (boba) and the Kung Fu Milk Tea with bubbles. Both were really good. Taro was sweeter which was my favorite. The place was really cool..foozeball, connect four, deck of cards. Decor has a few modern New York paintings (it's a franchise based out of NY). I really hope they do well!!! I love a boba place with caffeine free options and a lot of options in general. They have a few outdoor tables and mostly indoor seating. I had the Oreo Wow Milk (made with Lactaid) because I didn't want caffeine at that moment, the fact it was lactose free was an added plus. It was literally oreo flavored milk with ground oreos mixed in so that there were layers: the boba, the milky ground oreos, and the milk. They let me know that that drink already came with honey boba included in the price so I didn't have to add on boba like some other boba places will charge you for. LOL. This place is a joke. When you walk in they have this big disclaimer for vegans and how it is your responsibility to make sure whatever you order is accommodating to your dietary restrictions. I have a lot of issues with milk tea places telling me their product is vegan, when in reality they use "non-dairy creamer" that actually is just lactose free but has many components of dairy milk, such as casein. So, I inquired about the milk and they told me they have a lactose free non-dairy creamer. And I tried to explain that doesn't mean it's vegan. So I asked if I could see the label, to be sure I didn't consume any dairy products and they guy said okay. He came back from the kitchen and told me he refused to show me the label. WHAT? Your business has a disclaimer by the menu telling me I have to make sure I can consume your menu items and you won't even show me your ingredients of the only milk option? Come on. We left and went to the cool coffee place across the street -- Combine Kitchen (I think that's the name) and they were super awesome, accommodating, and understood what vegan milk is. read more
