My kids wanted boba and I tried this place. I think the pricing is good, they have only two sizes medium and large. The drink was fine too but the guy serving us the drinks was very nice. Didn't know this place existed here. I guess more Asian options are coming to Olney. This Kung fu tea location has fried food too. I didn't try the food, but it was an interesting take. Looks good, but I was not in the mood for fried foods. So it's been a while since I had Kung Fu Tea. I had been on other brand binges lately so I was curious and got the White grape. Not bad, but I was not blown away with it. Also for the price, it seemed to have gone quicker than coffee. People here were nice and they got my order done without any issues. This location isn't the cleanest or the most organized though. However, that wall art was popping and amazing. I just really liked the wall art. read more

I cannot give this location a good review. I've been here 3 times and each time it has been a horrible experience. Not sure why we always have a bad experience here. We order our drinks, they have them ready and keep it behind the counter. The customers who ordered after us get their drinks before us. Employees announce their drinks are ready. Place them over the counter for them, call out orders except for ours. We wait patiently, then we ask for our drinks and they still don't want to give them to us. Horrible customer service here. I love kung fu tea and of course I gotta try a new location when they open! I ordered a oreo wow with red beans and my husband got the minion mischief. We both love our drinks. I think my drink was sweet even at 70% sugar but not complaining though, I love it! But think it will be really sweet if I get 100% sugar. The service was good. We ordered and picked up, so didn't really interact much but they seem friendly. The place was nice and clean. They also have food items but we didn't try any of that yet. Updated: got to try their food items and both my husband and I like them! We got the spicy chicken sandwich and I got the kwa kwa bao combo. We also got the sweet potato fries and crunchy cheese curds. Husband said the sandwich was juicy and tender, crunch was great. He said it was comparable to chick fil a sandwich! The kwa kwa bao was good, I didn't like the fried chicken skin on the outside too much, it was a bit hard and salty for me but I love the stuffing inside which is shiitake mushrooms with sticky rice and pork, even though I didn't taste any pork. read more

I have not been to Kung Fu Tea in a while, and then I heard that this location opened so I had to check it out. I got a large mango green tea with bubbles and mango popping bubbles. I've been here a couple times since they've opened and haven't had a problem. Only leaving a review cause some of the 1 stars on here is people spouting foolishness. This place recently opened so of course there will be times where things won't be perfect or just orders are wrong. People mess up it's not gonna be perfect right off the bat. If you're drink is wrong just ask them to remake it. If you see your drink on the counter just ask if it's yours. It's really not a big deal. Service has been great. I used to work at a boba shop as a teen and it was one of my first jobs. They are great beginner jobs so of course people are learning about the service industry, give them a break. If you expect perfect service everywhere you go you clearly have never been in the service industry. This is the closest boba place near my house now so when I'm too lazy to drive to Rockville and I'll be coming back! read more

I mean it's a chain boba restaurant and fried chicken place. Didn't have high expectations but I mean really, a single slice of unmelted American cheese makes them cheesy fries? Also I ordered on the app and not only does the app have zero product descriptions, the fried chicken sandwich has sauce and pickles on t with no option to modify. I were passing thru at this location and i was hungry for a snack so I Yelp. I found this interesting place in Olney and I noticed they have fried chicken. I always out to find best fried chicken that are not like Royal farm or Popeyes or Kentucky but a place like this to see how well are their chicken. So I tried their chicken sandwich and I was like wow this is very good. So then I noticed they have wings so I gotta ask to see if they have some legs and or thigh coz I like to try some of those too. But nope, they got wings so I settled on the wings. My goodness I have to say those are the best wings I ever tried coz I can fly on its taste and it crunch factor is excellent. U just gotta go try it for yourself. It's quick service take out place. I know it's a chain therefore they are following pretty much drink recipes so little to zero chance of messing up, BUT it was messed up. Since they opened I went there twice. First time I ordered just drink with boba balls. When I tasted the boba balls, it was salty. I've had same drinks at other tea places and it never tasted salty so what happened??? I thought I give it one more try and this time, same drink it tasted as expected but ordered their fried chicken wings and curly fries for take out. I received the order and looked inside the bag and there was a box. Thought the fries and wings were in the box, but nope... just wings, where are the fries? I felt ripped off...unsatisfied and shaking my head. It'll be a long while or never return to the one located in Olney. So disappointed bc this is probably the closest tea place. Super disappointed that KFT's Taro milk tea does not taste right. Way different than all the other boba places I've been to. Granted, it's not just this location (the one at Rio's was not right either). But that's the one I always get, so guess I'll have to drive out to Rockville for it. This was our first time visiting the Olney location and it was a great experience from the moment I called (I called to see if they had a certain drink) and Vincent was so helpful on the phone. When we walked it they immediately greeted us even though I placed the order through the app. Not only that, they noticed my 5 year old and I singing a song, my daughters favorite song might I add, and without saying anything they put the song on for us to enjoy while we were waiting for our order. I ordered regular fried chicken and spicy fried chicken take out and they were both spicy! I called to complain and they initially apologized and promised to give me a food credit. They they called back and insisted all the fried chicken dishes are made spicy so it was just the way they were so they are not responsible! I went to Kung Fu Tea in Olney, Md tonight at 8pm. There was nobody in line and 2 people after me. I waited over 15 minutes for my drink that they made after they took care of the people after me. Then they made my drink and set it on the counter near the sink as her and her friend talked, joking around and washing dishes instead of giving me my drink. After 19 minutes I ask the girls what are doing??? No answer. Is that my drink sitting there? Yes, why have you not given to me and why are you washing dishes instead of help the customer??? I will never go there again and drink SUCKED too. The people behind me never got their drinks either. They never even said they were sorry. If you want SHIT drinks or food then go to Kung Fu Tea in OLNEY, Md. All the other ones I ever went to are Amazing. My daughter used to go in 2 times a week but we will never go there AGAIN.
