Covid-19 times...luckily, this place is still open! 7am. Its a different way now. You go right up to the door and they have a menu and two tables. You place your order at the door and the worker goes back to get it ready. I ordered a nonfat sugar free vanilla latte and oatmeal. They have the best oatmeal. It has cinnamon, almond slices and berries. Then I saw a worker dropping in a parfait of yogurt, berries and granola and asked for one of those also. The order came very quickly. The worker was nice and wished for a good day! The nonfat sugar free vanilla latte was hot and delicious! The oatmeal was really good too! Yum! Having the yogurt later tonight. I'll let you know. Came here on a Saturday afternoon. It wasn't packed with plenty seats inside and out. I loved how the cafe was decorated, but I probably won't be returning. I was waiting next to the pick up counter after placing my order and I watched people before me get their names called to the counter to get their drinks. As I continued to wait, the girl who took my order placed a drink on the counter, but no one's name was called. I waited for a bit more before another barista placed a drink on the counter and called out the person who ordered after me's name. I made eye contact with the girl who took my order as she was making someone else's drink, and I asked if the cup was mine. It was so awkward with her silence and stare before she looked away. I didn't know what to do but to investigate myself, so I smelled the lavender in the cup and figured it was mine because there was no one else in line and everyone else had gotten their drinks. What the heck. The drink was decent but not great. The lavender was light and fragrant, but I would have preferred a stronger lavender taste. Service was not the best to say the least. read more

Consistently the best coffee in Fresno/Clovis area. You cannot go wrong by starting your day with a Kuppa Joy (wife's favorite) or one of their pour overs. They have a great selection of pastries and breakfast items to keep you satisfied. If you are in the mood for tea/iced tea they have great options as well. Came here on way to airport. First time here. The cashier was super friendly. We told him it was our first time here and he answered all our questions, gave suggestions, and overall gave a wonderful customer experience. The baristas were quick and had our drinks out really fast. The place was full. The decor is fun and hip. The drinks themselves were good. Decided to pop in for some Cold Brew coffee with my sister... she is in to coffee... the place is hip and awesome atmosphere for everyone to hang out in downtown clovis. Love this place... can't wait to go back with my wife... my daughter had their yogurt parfait... she enjoyed it as well... Only downside for this big company and amazing coffee was not to have "soy milk" come on now... with so many people with allergies to lactose it's sad to not offer soy milk and only offer almond milk. I've really wanted to like this place and have given them multiple chances on ruined drinks, faulty tops and slow orders but I've finally given up. I understand they can get a bit busy, and it can get hectic but if I order a simple holiday drink, how hard is it to make that? I think I'm on attempt six or seven where I've ordered the golden joy, the Kuppa heaven, the amazing grace, and the pumpkin spice late- they've managed to get two of those orders right the first time. It's painstakingly unreliable to order anything and expect to actually get that in the cup. Once I ordered the kuppa heaven and ended up getting black coffee with milk. Another time I ordered the pumpkin spice late and the same thing happened: normal coffee with milk. Look, I do like the combo of those two (hence the three stars and not two) and ordinarily wouldn't complain like I haven't the past three times. Sadly though when I order a more expensive drink and end up getting normal coffee with milk, it's a bit aggravating. I can get a normal cup of coffee with milk at Starbucks, probably cheaper too. I know they have their guarantee of redoing your drink if it's not made correctly but that shouldn't have to even be a thing? At this point, Kuppa Joy hasn't even remotely proven itself to make exceptional coffee worth going out of my way for, even less actually getting foundational stuff right so why even bother putting up with it- and it sure enough does not bring me *any* joy, but quite opposite. There's like five or six coffee spots either on the way to or from this place that probably don't mess up orders as often that I can easily frequent. Time to say goodbye, Kuppa Joy. I hope you eventually become what you could be! read more

We are not from Clovis so it was a drive for us. The staff were all so nice. I got overwhelmed when trying to order a coffee when there is a line and people everywhere. The lady at cash register was helpful and suggested the kuppa joy. It was very good and not too sweet. I loved the coffee flavor. Let me just say that my husband was completely blown away by the fact that he'd waited this long to visit this place. With so many great reviews and recommendations from friends, we finally had a chance to steal away for a quick breakfast without the littles. The shop is wonderfully decorated from the wall of coffee bags behind the bar to the beautiful brick wall accented with group photos of what, I assume, is the Kuppa Joy staff. The highlight of the decor by far is the Throne! !!! My husband says he needs this in his life, because reasons. It is a gorgeous piece of wood working craftsmanship and really acts as a nice focal point to the shop. I had a cup of their oatmeal and was pleasantly surprised at the level of quality, really expecting a generic 'instant' oatmeal, but they added just the right amount of brown sugar - oh my... definitely coming back just for this! My husband had a pour over of The Fire and the Breakfast Sandwich. He LOVED both to the point of elation and I could see the Joy in his face as he enjoyed one of his favorite things in life - coffee!
