On a slow day, but rare ... always packed

This place has great service and great food! Plus the coffee is always fresh and super tasty! Kuppa of Joy always knocks it out of the park with thier coffee and food. Love the lavender coffee and avocado toast is always fresh. This location does get packed, the patio seating helps but it still super busy in the AMs.

Love Kuppa Joy! Everything about this place is great! [[HIGHLIGHT]]First, the vibe is very brick and mortar with literal brick walls, polished cement floors and the dark quaint vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]When you walk in you are welcomed by worship music, friendly faces in the staff and fellow customers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]You'll will almost always see people with their bibles open, either individually or perhaps a group doing bible study or perhaps doing a Life Group meeting. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Their back patio is also a great place to hang out and enjoyable when the weather is nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's not uncommon to see a dog or two accompanied by their person.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff is always pumping out orders as quickly as they can. Kuppa Joy is quite popular so there can be a little bit of a wait when it gets busy. My boyfriend and I come in for Pain Trains (protein powder, oat milk, banana, almond butter, ground coffee beans) with added espresso shots several times a week. I also treat myself a few times in the fall to their Pumpkin Pie Latte and in the Spring/Summer their Lavender Lemonade (sweet and refreshing). When it comes to food, I've only tried their avocado toast. Theirs is different in that they squeeze fresh lemon on top which is really tasty and wakes up the avocado. Their pastry/dessert window though is quite enticing when you are standing in line. After brunch, my Dad and I were looking for a place to grab caffeine and chill. My cousin recommended Kuppa Joy Coffee House so we decided to check it out. We came on a weekday afternoon and it was popping! Lots of Gen Z and Millenials hanging out, working, studying. It's a watering hole for them. There's a decent amount of tables, bar tables, and communal tables inside plus lots of seating outdoors. WiFi is available and the lighting inside is a bit dark. Kuppa Joy prides themselves in celebrating Jesus, so there's a lot of Jesus and God decor around and goods being sold. I found the service to be upbeat, friendly, and quick! My Dad got a Spiced Chai with Almond Milk and I had a Vanilla Lavender Honey Joy with Oat Milk. I can taste the lavender and Earl Grey--it's floral, light, and slightly sweet. My Dad enjoyed his chai. No complaints and I'd be interested in trying the other drinks. For those who enjoy coffee and tea, Kuppa Joy Coffee House is a local coffee chain in Fresno County. Their Clovis location is spacious with free parking in the shared lot. Find them off Clovis Ave.

This was a wonderful cafe to study at! There was ample seating and free Wifi. I got the Kuppa Joy and it was a delicious cup of chocolatey goodness. It was a very productive environment and there were plenty of people studying as well. It was super cozy!

A bunch of Fresno locals reccomended me to check out this coffee spot and it did not disappoint! After this visit, I got obsessed and also went to the drive thru location for their peppermint mocha which I think is better than other places. First time at any of their locations and I was happy with their service & food! I thought the breakfast panini was really good and my husband enjoyed his burrito. The sauce that came with it was yummy too! Coffee was great and less expensive than I was expecting compared to other local coffee shops. Excellent coffee! I absolutely loved this coffee shop. I wish we had one in Southern California. Every server had excellent service. Everyone was so kind. There are many coffee choices. I really enjoyed my vanilla iced latte. My friend enjoyed his hot coffee. We both agree that the coffee is not acidic, and it is very smooth. It is also not too sweet. Ask the server about the sweetness before ordering to make sure you like it. I absolutely love that this is a Christian establishment. They had religious music on, and religious decor. There was a big chair and a bible. I felt very welcomed in this establishment. Everyone was so kind. The bathrooms were clean. They are in an excellent spot in old town Clovis. There is also parking.

The coffees are delicious ! They just came out with their fall drink ; pumpkin spice latte ! They also have a new food item "egg in the middle" wrapped in pastry and bacon ! Ohh yeah I love this one . My favorite is still the amazing grace latte . The staff is very friendly and is a cute coffeeshop with indoor and outdoor seating.

Visited while my car was getting smogged. I ordered a latte and a breakfast burrito. The latte was perfect and the burrito was delicious and fresh. Inside they spared nothing on wall to wall industrial chic flavor. Inside it's dim, cozy, woody, hued with brown, black, gold, portraits, low key Bible verse of Romans 8:1. Their own gold & black bags of signature coffee lines the walls. There's a wood carved medieval chair chained to a brick wall that has lions heads carved on the armrests & paws on the chair legs. Would be a fun & a great marketing tool especially if this was a photo op chair we could sit on then hashtag #kuppajoy. On their website are words & phrases like ministry, make a difference, "love God, love people, love coffee", wonderfully created, bring glory to God. It's obvi a coffee shop owned by a Christmas owner. I love his bold statement of faith very much, and online it's very honest & explicitly stated. I ordered the Honey Joy for $4.75 which is Earl Grey, milk, and honey-my usual coffee shop go to drink, but it wasn't as flavorful or delish as I was hoping. My other go to, avocado toast, was a whopping $8.25 for a single slice of toast. I super wanted to love it, but I don't think I'll ever get that again due to lack of value & flavor for over $8. Kiddo got the sugar cinnamon toast which was $4 for a single slice. Cost was a little more palatable, but still medium sized too much. Items that sounded enticing is their Pain Train protein drink with chocolate protein, almond butter, banana, coffee beans for $7. Their lavender lemonade for $5.25 sounds good. They have cute Biblical sounding drinks items like Amazing Grace, Hallelujah, Iced Kuppa Heaven. I like that they have special items unique to their coffee shop like the bottled signature items that's also seasonal, the Peppermint Mocha for $5.80, the Christmas tumbler for $38.50. Other seasonal items are the Pumpkin Pie latte, Pumpkin Chai, Peppermint Hot Chocolate. They also have bags of their own holiday blend coffee bags for $20. In addition, they have carby pastries & panini, free wifi, along with friendly customer service. They have several locations, this particular one being the former football player turned coffee shop owner's first location. I definitely want to go here again to support my fellow Christian brother entrepreneur. Plus the area is really boutiquey that I'd like to walk my dog at, explore and window shop. Check out their website, they also do wonderful things for the community & have several locations to choose from if you really like their vibe & offerings.

Nice warm atmosphere and rustic interior. Friendly and competent staffs. Plenty of parking in the back, located off from Clovis Ave. and Bullard. I had ordered the Amazing Grace, an espresso with white chocolate. The body is light, very aerated. Beautifully decorated on the foam. For a large (16oz) was priced at around $5 to $6. No sales tax, IIRC. I would definitely recommend anyone to come and try. Surprisingly, when I was there in the morning, it wasn't crowded. I will come back again soon! read more

Friendly staff! Been here twice and staff is always super friendly! Both times I've come here I get seasonal drinks. The first one was a lavender latte which was so delicious and different but well done. Yesterday I tried an iced coffee with oat milk. I believe it was called an orange something. It was good but had way too much milk and therefore didn't taste very strong. I enjoyed it still but it could have been better. It's a bummer they are closed on Sunday's as we are out of town and it would be great to be able to stop by before our drive home. It's always crowded but the line moves fast. You might just not be able to find a seat. read more

Popped into Kuppa Joy coffee house while my truck was being smogged. It'd been awhile since I'd actually been inside because I usually do their drive thru stand. I ordered their new orange blossom oatmilk latte on ice and their cinnamon sugar toast. The orange blossom latte was lovely! It was slightly floral and just the right amount of sweet and made for a really smooth coffee drink. The cinnamon sugar toast was amazing. can I make cinnamon sugar toast at home? Sure I can but theirs was delightful, a super thick piece of toast perfectly toasted with buttery cinnamon sugar. Both are a must try in my opinion. read more

WOW! What a way to start a morning. Let's start with the service. So patient in explaining the different coffee choices until we felt the right coffee was for us. We had the Amazing Grace (ice blended) and Hallelujah (hot). Both were delicious and full of flavor!! The decor and ambiance of this place was such a vibe! Really good coffee! The wait was a little long due to their popularity. But the line length can vary quite a bit even within a 30 minute window. We ordered the kuppa joy and the almond joy. We both liked the kuppa joy more - the creme brulee milk complemented the coffee very well and was not overpowering; the flavor was stronger than what you would find at starbucks. The almond joy's coconut flavor was a little too strong for us, and it was difficult to taste anything but coconut. Would definitely come back for the kuppa joy! read more

We usually go here in the morning for our coffee or tea. This time we ordered green tea latte hot and it was good, I like the latte art as well, very instagrammable. They have skim milk and almond milk. Pet friendly and more seating at the patio. For the panini, I'll give 4 stars. Such quality coffee with the much appreciated addition of beautiful presentation. Upon leaving for college, I discovered that I'm a better person on the days I have coffee and it's vital I have a great coffee spot (preferably local) to visit. I wish I would've been the coffee lover I am now in my days of living in Clovis but I stop by Kuppa Joy every time I'm in town and enjoy the greatness they offer in a cup. Really love the almond joy and kuppa joy. Such yummy classics that never disappoint. In love with the atmosphere and something about it brings out happiness in me. Good coffee, and you'll get great photos as well :) Remember that Sunday is God's day and therefore they are not open on Sundays. I have stopped by a few times on Sundays and have felt silly. read more

Everytime I make my way to Clovis I make it a point to stop by Kuppa Joy. I love Kuppa Joy iced, blended and hot. If you want a real treat that is not on the menu ask for the Golden Joy. If you enjoy carmel you will enjoy this delicious drink. Coffee lovers need to give Kuppa Joy a try. read more

I am a little late to join the Kuppa Joy train but tonight I enjoyed a beautiful 12 oz hot vanilla chai. It had a great flavor and was just the perfect temperature to sip and enjoy. My only regrets were that I did not order the 16 oz and that I did not take a photo of it. Great: service, ambiance, lighting and noise level to enjoy a conversation and warm cup of chai. I will return to try some other drinks. read more

Stopped here on our drive and we were glad we did. The staff were so friendly and helpful in figuring out which drink to order. I got a kuppa joy and my husband got pour over. I loved the light sweetness in my drink and my husband said the pour over was done really well and brought out the fruity flavor of the coffee. I would recommend stopping here. I hope to in the future as there are many other drinks I want to try. read more

I usually don't stay long before leaving but this place left an impression on me! Even the customers are all kind and friendly I went in and was immediately greeted by a kind lady at the counter. Shared with her that it's my first time here and don't know what they have. She gave me her recommendation after learning what I like and said it's on the house! I felt bad not paying but I am grateful I didn't share that it's actually my birthday so this definitely made it all the more better! I only waited for a few moments with another guest's sweetheart of a dog before grabbing my items. Wonderful service and Lattes have only visited the Clovis location but assume the profile is the same for all. Truly enjoy meeting my family every Saturday morning and enjoy our coffee on the patio when the weather cooperates. My only suggestion please expand pastry selections not the best. read more

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in fresno (it's actually in Clovis). The atmosphere is great. Definitely a young people's crowd - students doing work, friends catching up. Drinks: If you're not a sweet person, my favorite is just cold brew with milk. Simple. Easy. Can't go wrong. If you do you like sweet drinks, their "Hallelujah" is really really good. Has a hint of cinnamon and isn't too too sweet. Tip: THEY SELL CRAVE COOKIES HERE NOW!! For those who don't know, Crave used to be a delivery only company and you had to buy a minimum of 4 cookies in order for them to deliver to you ($14 cost). Kuppa joy now sells crave cookies for $4 a piece starting at 3pm Monday's through Saturday's. Cookies are limited!! read more

First timer. Service was awesome (reason for 4*). Pastries were ok and that could be to them not being as fresh and having to use a microwave to reheat versus a toaster of some sort. Cappuccino was ok too. Compared to other cappuccinos that I've had, it just didn't taste the same or at least similar to the many cappuccinos I've had. Pleasantly surprised to find this awesome independent coffeehouse in Clovis. I visited on a Friday evening and they were open till 9pm. Yeah! I enjoyed a cafe au lait and a biscotti. Coffee was excellent. I would have appreciated a slightly larger desert selection, but that was my only complaint. Staff was friendly and the atmosphere was perfect. Lots of tables and a few couches. A perfect spot to meet a friend of bring your laptop to work. There was even a family sitting next to me playing cards. So nice. read more

I know the menu probably described what she was ordering but since it was her first time there, she was a little overwhelmed with the menu and could have used some guidance. Also my other friend asked about getting a certain coffee and felt talked down to from the woman at the register like she was an idiot. She says it is not the first time this woman has been rude, as she has been here before and had the same rude service. One of my coworkers suggested stopping here for coffee since I always prefer supporting local businesses over big coffee chains, and I'm so glad she did. As soon as we walked in, the atmosphere was lively and welcoming. The place was busy, which is always a good sign, and it was nice to see so many people supporting a local spot. It's located in a really charming downtown area surrounded by other restaurants and shops, which made it even more enjoyable. One thing that initially caught my attention was an elevated throne-like chair draped in fabric. After taking a closer look, I noticed it was a religious reference with a Bible displayed. When I asked about it, I learned that Kuppa Joy is a Christian coffee shop. As someone who appreciates faith-based spaces, I actually loved this. The energy in the space felt genuinely positive and uplifting. I ordered the Iced Golden Joy, and wow -- this was one of the best coffee drinks I've ever had, especially for trying a new coffee shop. Kuppa Joy has certainly become one of my all time favorite coffee joints! 5/5 -I may be biased due to the fact that i know quite a few of the employees, but the staff here is great and they most definitely know how to make a perfect cup of joe! -I have only had two drinks in my multiple visits here (iced/hot kuppa joy and a honey joy) but this is simply because I am addicted! I will try more though:) They also sell pastries, waters, and little snacks (much like Starbucks) -The atmosphere is welcoming, but typically they are very busy so sometimes it can prove difficult to find a place to sit. (they have outdoor seating as well) -I love coming here to study for school (free wifi), meet up with my friends for a drink, or simply bring along journals to relax and doodle! In all honesty, my experience was a complete disaster. I didn't think twice about the religious repertoire this so called coffee house had. With that, I had to swallow it like a pill, quite literally, with either a bible study in one corner or the obnoxiously large "king" chair along with the bible. To each their own, but if you're going to be so religious, at least smile(the staff was seriously in need of a jolt). I ordered a latte, something to which I could made at home and without the frou frou art( it really doesn't make your coffee taste any better), which I think is what's making it so expensive. I give them props for knowing how to market themselves, they are in Clovis and religion isn't cut short here. I've gotta say that this was definitely the best coffee I've had. I really love my tea but was recommended a dirty chai and I think its the best I've had in town!! Hands down my favorite drink now! It is so yummy, its the perfect blend between sweet and subtle and I was also able to add some vanilla and it took it to a whole new level! The people there were SO sweet and even brought me my drink. They also have the best back patio that isn't so crowded during the week and its the best little place to hangout and get some work done. I think I found my new little haven in downtown Clovis definitely love this place! Their baristas are amazing and really know what they're doing, they deliver top notch drinks and are super kind and try their best to connect with you! read more

Really loved the vibe of this coffee shop! The interior has a cozy, rustic feel with exposed brick walls and warm wood accents -- it's the kind of place that makes you want to stay a while. I grabbed a coffee and a scone, and both were solid! The coffee was smooth and well-balanced, and the scone was slightly crisp on the outside, and not overly sweet -- just right. It's a great spot to study, get some work done, or catch up with a friend. That said, it's a smaller space and can get pretty packed, especially during peak hours. I heard about this place from some friends a while back and finally decided to check it out and take my hunny with me. Hands down best coffee and service I've ever had! They remembered my name and even brought it right to where we were sitting. From the moment we walked in they said hello and made us feel welcomed. I'd honestly say their customer service is excellent and by far the best I've seen for a coffee shop! They were super helpful in getting the right drinks for us with top notch recommendations! We tried out their Kuppa Joy and a honey joy for the mrs. and we were not disappointed! We will definitely be back!! read more

Just came out here for my nephews wedding in Reedley and he recommended my wife and I go here to try out the place. We loved it! Back in Philly we don't have many hole-in-the-wall coffee shops, just loads of Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts, and this place hits it out of the park. My wife got the Honey Joy and loved the housemade vanilla lavender syrup and I was recommended a pour over as I am a black coffee guy. Both drinks were phenomenal and the pour over hit the flavor notes right on the money all thanks to the baristas information and recommendation (thanks Carson!). Overall great experience! read more

Great atmosphere and great service. I am sympathize being a coffee shop in this starbucks world and know that it can be hard to keep up. The prices just feel a little elevated... And I know what you will say... so i starbucks right? Yes but I can also collect stars and get tons of free drinks including frequent happy hour promotions with starbucks. Again, I get a small chain can't compete and shouldn't be expected to. But could the price maybe be a little lower to make up for it? Again not specific to this location but I do feel like my wallet is a little less heavy when I walk out... read more

I am a regular at this coffee shop, and I have to say, the service was exceptional! Ginger, Brooklyn, Ellie, and Kamryn always make my experience truly memorable. Kuppa's trending down. I used to love coming in because the staff was so fun, but the new guy running the place is on the same level of artificial as car salesmen and candy corn. He's really fake when he says hi,w then turns around and bosses the staff around. No thanks. He tried to make my drink the other day and couldn't. But of course instead of asking for help he just gave it to someone and said finish it. That was it for me for a while. read more

Dude. I told all my bros to come check out this joint. Its the dopest place available and they serve up some tasty dranks. Everything looks so fresh and clean. Couple hot babes working the register too. Cant complain about that. The dudes that work there seem pretty chill there though too. This place is always busy and theres a reason for it. The staff, drinks, atmosphere are just all killer. They make a mean cappuccino and if you care at all about your instagram aesthetic, you HAVE to have a picture of their latte art on your feed... Have to. Its practically white girl law at this point. My favorite thing about KJ is that the baristas are really friendly and get to know your name/order when you come in often. My favorite thing about this location is relaxing on the back patio where they have really comfy seating and conveniently placed tables. I've been coming for years since shortly after they opened and I'll be a customer forever! read more

It's a great place to go and get a quality cup of coffee in an awesome environment with friends or even just to bring my toddler. It sometimes can be so loud that carrying on a conversation is really hard and you certainly can't work in there. It's too loud for that for sure. read more
