On a slow day, but rare ... always packed

This place has great service and great food! Plus the coffee is always fresh and super tasty! Kuppa of Joy always knocks it out of the park with thier coffee and food. Love the lavender coffee and avocado toast is always fresh. This location does get packed, the patio seating helps but it still super busy in the AMs.

Love Kuppa Joy! Everything about this place is great! [[HIGHLIGHT]]First, the vibe is very brick and mortar with literal brick walls, polished cement floors and the dark quaint vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]When you walk in you are welcomed by worship music, friendly faces in the staff and fellow customers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]You'll will almost always see people with their bibles open, either individually or perhaps a group doing bible study or perhaps doing a Life Group meeting. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Their back patio is also a great place to hang out and enjoyable when the weather is nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's not uncommon to see a dog or two accompanied by their person.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff is always pumping out orders as quickly as they can. Kuppa Joy is quite popular so there can be a little bit of a wait when it gets busy. My boyfriend and I come in for Pain Trains (protein powder, oat milk, banana, almond butter, ground coffee beans) with added espresso shots several times a week. I also treat myself a few times in the fall to their Pumpkin Pie Latte and in the Spring/Summer their Lavender Lemonade (sweet and refreshing). When it comes to food, I've only tried their avocado toast. Theirs is different in that they squeeze fresh lemon on top which is really tasty and wakes up the avocado. Their pastry/dessert window though is quite enticing when you are standing in line. It's always stocked with fresh cookies and pastries (both sweet and savory)[[HIGHLIGHT]]Kuppa Joy is a great place to get your daily coffee fix, have a bit of a snack, meet up with friends or just chill out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] A

After brunch, my Dad and I were looking for a place to grab caffeine and chill. My cousin recommended Kuppa Joy Coffee House so we decided to check it out. We came on a weekday afternoon and it was popping! Lots of Gen Z and Millenials hanging out, working, studying. It's a watering hole for them. There's a decent amount of tables, bar tables, and communal tables inside plus lots of seating outdoors. WiFi is available and the lighting inside is a bit dark. Kuppa Joy prides themselves in celebrating Jesus, so there's a lot of Jesus and God decor around and goods being sold. I found the service to be upbeat, friendly, and quick! My Dad got a Spiced Chai with Almond Milk and I had a Vanilla Lavender Honey Joy with Oat Milk. I can taste the lavender and Earl Grey--it's floral, light, and slightly sweet. My Dad enjoyed his chai. No complaints and I'd be interested in trying the other drinks. For those who enjoy coffee and tea, Kuppa Joy Coffee House is a local coffee chain in Fresno County. Their Clovis location is spacious with free parking in the shared lot. Find them off Clovis Ave.

This was a wonderful cafe to study at! There was ample seating and free Wifi. I got the Kuppa Joy and it was a delicious cup of chocolatey goodness. It was a very productive environment and there were plenty of people studying as well. It was super cozy!

A bunch of Fresno locals reccomended me to check out this coffee spot and it did not disappoint! After this visit, I got obsessed and also went to the drive thru location for their peppermint mocha which I think is better than other places. First time at any of their locations and I was happy with their service & food! I thought the breakfast panini was really good and my husband enjoyed his burrito. The sauce that came with it was yummy too! Coffee was great and less expensive than I was expecting compared to other local coffee shops. Excellent coffee! I absolutely loved this coffee shop. I wish we had one in Southern California. Every server had excellent service. Everyone was so kind. There are many coffee choices. I really enjoyed my vanilla iced latte. My friend enjoyed his hot coffee. We both agree that the coffee is not acidic, and it is very smooth. It is also not too sweet. Ask the server about the sweetness before ordering to make sure you like it. I absolutely love that this is a Christian establishment. They had religious music on, and religious decor. There was a big chair and a bible. I felt very welcomed in this establishment. Everyone was so kind. The bathrooms were clean. They are in an excellent spot in old town Clovis. There is also parking.

The coffees are delicious ! They just came out with their fall drink ; pumpkin spice latte ! They also have a new food item "egg in the middle" wrapped in pastry and bacon ! Ohh yeah I love this one . My favorite is still the amazing grace latte . The staff is very friendly and is a cute coffeeshop with indoor and outdoor seating.

Visited while my car was getting smogged. I ordered a latte and a breakfast burrito. The latte was perfect and the burrito was delicious and fresh. 3.75 stars overall Price 3 stars Ambence 6 stars Service 4 stars Food/drink taste 3.5 stars Literally the most eye-candy catching coffee shop I've ever been to. Inside they spared nothing on wall to wall industrial chic flavor. Inside it's dim, cozy, woody, hued with brown, black, gold, portraits, low key Bible verse of Romans 8:1. Their own gold & black bags of signature coffee lines the walls. There's a wood carved medieval chair chained to a brick wall that has lions heads carved on the armrests & paws on the chair legs. Would be a fun & a great marketing tool especially if this was a photo op chair we could sit on then hashtag #kuppajoy. On their website are words & phrases like ministry, make a difference, "love God, love people, love coffee", wonderfully created, bring glory to God. It's obvi a coffee shop owned by a Christmas owner. I love his bold statement of faith very much, and online it's very honest & explicitly stated. I ordered the Honey Joy for $4.75 which is Earl Grey, milk, and honey-my usual coffee shop go to drink, but it wasn't as flavorful or delish as I was hoping. My other go to, avocado toast, was a whopping $8.25 for a single slice of toast. I super wanted to love it, but I don't think I'll ever get that again due to lack of value & flavor for over $8. Kiddo got the sugar cinnamon toast which was $4 for a single slice. Cost was a little more palatable, but still medium sized too much. Items that sounded enticing is their Pain Train protein drink with chocolate protein, almond butter, banana, coffee beans for $7. Their lavender lemonade for $5.25 sounds good. They have cute Biblical sounding drinks items like Amazing Grace, Hallelujah, Iced Kuppa Heaven. I like that they have special items unique to their coffee shop like the bottled signature items that's also seasonal, the Peppermint Mocha for $5.80, the Christmas tumbler for $38.50. Other seasonal items are the Pumpkin Pie latte, Pumpkin Chai, Peppermint Hot Chocolate. They also have bags of their own holiday blend coffee bags for $20. In addition, they have carby pastries & panini, free wifi, along with friendly customer service. They have several locations, this particular one being the former football player turned coffee shop owner's first location. I definitely want to go here again to support my fellow Christian brother entrepreneur. Plus the area is really boutiquey that I'd like to walk my dog at, explore and window shop. Check out their website, they also do wonderful things for the community & have several locations to choose from if you really like their vibe & offerings.

I like the coffee here And the food is great (base this off other visits) but... Every time I go it is atmosphere is a hustle & bustle like hello , how can I help you? Here you go.. goodbye! And i can do that at starbucks! I been to this location about 3 times, this last time with my OCR team coach.. I ordered a kuppa joy & almond croissant.. I told them I'm going to post photos of this so please do your best...I got a good kuppa joy but my almond croissant was so cold, hard & stale? So idk bout that ... So i went back & asked them to please warm it up & that also took a few minutes, after all it was ok but its just not the same atmosphere as the Fresno high location. Kuddos On the back patio that deserves a ten but they could also add to the decor like some flowers etc. I'd highly recommend Kuppa joy hires some more people so that their staff is not reflecting "I'm too busy to care for my customers" because they're overwhelmed... Dont take it personal just my feedback... So Kuppa Joy Clovis please serve me some joy next time I go if I go again... God bless read more

I didn't like the coffee I ordered. My first time here so now I know to ask if they can make it not so sickeningly sweet. I have the same problem at Dutch Bros. Overall I don't like the idea of any business bringing their religious or political beliefs into a business. I was kind of shocked when I realized the brand concept. read more

I got the Hallelujah drink and it was delicious and just what I needed in the morning. I also got the chorizo frittata which I wasn't the biggest fan of and probably wouldn't get again. I loved our experience here! BF and I were up in Clovis to visit family and on our last morning we found ourselves with a few hours for quality time. At the recommendations of friends and Yelp we stopped at Kuppa Joy for snacks and non-Keurig coffee(which, to some extent, I find comforting when with family but I am a coffee snob and manage my own shop so I only last a day or two with that). It has all the marks of a great shop - friendly and helpful staff, a clear menu with all the standard espresso drinks and some seasonal offerings, and a self serve water station(it's the little things). While we were waiting my boyfriend saw they had food offerings as well so he ordered a frittata, which was delivered pretty much as we got our drinks. The environment was friendly and they clearly build a great community in the shop by being themselves. While waiting for our second round of drinks I sat at the community table in the back and overheard regulars chatting with each other or introducing themselves to others. Loved my cappuccino and loved the iced Kuppa Joy latte we grabbed on our way back from the Book Barn down the street. We will definitely be back next time we visit. read more

LOVE kuppa joy and they are always so pleasant and kind. BUT unfortunately today i did not have a nice experience. I had placed my order with a sweet girl and then came back out to my car to wait because i have my puppy. came back in and noticed one was done so i just made sure the other one was on the way before i grabbed that one in case it wasn't mine. the rude and condescending guy said "It's being made right now." and under his breath i hear him say. "That's why i didn't call it out yet." Then i over hear him threatening to put decaf coffee in a guests drink instead of actual coffee "because of that attitude" hopefully not mine since i pay an extra .70 or $1 for extra shot of espresso. I find this attitude extremely immature and unprofessional. Definitely not something i find kuppa joy standing for. Super disappointed to see kuppa joy holding an employee like this. Name i over heard was Josh. read more

Such a friendly atmosphere and so relaxing and peaceful. Great patio seating during COVID. I always get a nice latte, either hot or cold. Now that they have Crave Cookies, it's a double hitter to support local businesses. I love that you have a lovely place to do business, meet friends, or have a Bible study. read more

When I first moved to the area 4 years ago and was apartment hunting, I knew I had to live near a place with good coffee #caffeineislife Trying this place for the first time settled the location for me and I enjoy living near Old Town Clovis because of this place. Best coffee and pastry spot in the whole Fresno-Clovis area! The Kuppa Joy and Almond Joy are perfection... not too sweet... none of that burnt coffee taste the other guy is famous for... and the vibe is nourishment for the soul, Christian or not! Just learned the pastries come from Eddies. I may have to rethink my previous write-off of Eddies. read more

Came here hoping it would be better than the cedar drive thru. Boy was I wrong. This business as a whole is just so snotty and rude. They don't practice what they preach. I'm extremely disappointed to see this kind of behavior from a Christian owned business. To top all of the bad customer service and snotty staff their coffee tastes like absolute ass. It's not strong AT ALL!! At this point I'll just go to Starbucks! Try "On The Edge", an actual Christian owned coffee shop right up the road. It won't disappoint. Save your money coffee costs an arm and a leg here. Try this shop at your own risk! My kids are rude, but they aren't this rude. My kids who act bad themselves came in and can confirm how unkind staff is. Try at your own risk. They suck! Stay FAR away! read more

Pretty neat little coffee shop in the heart of old town Clovis. If you want a fun alternative to Starbucks then I think this place fills the bill nicely. The interior decor has a lot of personality and there is ample seating available. The baristas there a friendly and efficient. Wow! This is the cutest Coffee shop in town. Just here for work, and a few girls from work told me I have to stop by Kuppa Joy. The happiness in this coffee house is AMAZING. The two girls that helped me were so cute and friendly and literally made my day. I'm over here missing my kids and a little sad to be away from home, and they literally just brought me back to my happy place. Kuppa of Joy is lucky to have Hailey and Hannah. 10/10. Thank you again, oh and the coffee is amazing, I recommend the signature drink, Hallelujah, amazing. read more

I tried one of the Kuppa Joy Coffee House downtown and it was great but the one in Clovis seems better since there's a lot more room to sit (especially outside which I love since I can bring the dog). The almond joy and Kuppa joy were amazing and the monkey bread was tasty too. I'd definitely be returning in the future read more

The counter folk were friendly and when we asked to buy the promotional blind box we were informed that they were sold out but they let us buy the display item which really made my day! I'll for sure be back, even though it's a bit out of my way.

Unfortunately, when we went back up to the counter to try and exchange it for something else we feel we didn't get the best service. They eventually gave my friend some milk foam to mix it with to tone it down, but she was overall unhappy with her experience. I know the menu probably described what she was ordering but since it was her first time there, she was a little overwhelmed with the menu and could have used some guidance. Also my other friend asked about getting a certain coffee and felt talked down to from the woman at the register like she was an idiot. She says it is not the first time this woman has been rude, as she has been here before and had the same rude service. It is too bad, because overall this place has good coffee and a cute ambience in the back patio, but with the consistently poor service we won't be back.

I recently visited Kuppa Joy after arriving in Fresno, California, and it was such a great experience. One of my coworkers suggested stopping here for coffee since I always prefer supporting local businesses over big coffee chains, and I'm so glad she did. As soon as we walked in, the atmosphere was lively and welcoming. The place was busy, which is always a good sign, and it was nice to see so many people supporting a local spot. It's located in a really charming downtown area surrounded by other restaurants and shops, which made it even more enjoyable. One thing that initially caught my attention was an elevated throne-like chair draped in fabric. After taking a closer look, I noticed it was a religious reference with a Bible displayed. When I asked about it, I learned that Kuppa Joy is a Christian coffee shop. As someone who appreciates faith-based spaces, I actually loved this. The energy in the space felt genuinely positive and uplifting. I ordered the Iced Golden Joy, and wow -- this was one of the best coffee drinks I've ever had, especially for trying a new coffee shop. PASTRIES and Coffee are on POINT!! Mix the two together and you got the best tasting combination EVER! ugh! If I could eat here every day I would. Coolest thing about this place is that they offer the best quality stuff. They also partner with local shops to bring you the best of the best in town! like their pastries are from la Parisian and they have food that comes from several local vendors like Rappitup! Their paninis are amazing, and any pastry you get from the shelf is UH-Mazing! I know I'm talking about food a lot but it just compliments so well with their drinks and their the bomb! Kuppa Joy has certainly become one of my all time favorite coffee joints! 5/5 -I may be biased due to the fact that i know quite a few of the employees, but the staff here is great and they most definitely know how to make a perfect cup of joe! -I have only had two drinks in my multiple visits here (iced/hot kuppa joy and a honey joy) but this is simply because I am addicted! I will try more though:) They also sell pastries, waters, and little snacks (much like Starbucks) -The atmosphere is welcoming, but typically they are very busy so sometimes it can prove difficult to find a place to sit. (they have outdoor seating as well) -I love coming here to study for school (free wifi), meet up with my friends for a drink, or simply bring along journals to relax and doodle! Sometimes i bring my own headphones, but even the music they play in their shop is great haha! *The only problem I have had here is seating because it's normally packed(duh! they are just THAT good!) . In all honesty, my experience was a complete disaster. I didn't think twice about the religious repertoire this so called coffee house had. With that, I had to swallow it like a pill, quite literally, with either a bible study in one corner or the obnoxiously large "king" chair along with the bible. To each their own, but if you're going to be so religious, at least smile(the staff was seriously in need of a jolt). I ordered a latte, something to which I could made at home and without the frou frou art( it really doesn't make your coffee taste any better), which I think is what's making it so expensive. I give them props for knowing how to market themselves, they are in Clovis and religion isn't cut short here. For wanting to bring the community together they sure turned me off, not only through the atmosphere but also through the unsatisfactory cup of coffee that I could have enjoyed elsewhere with a pastry. I've gotta say that this was definitely the best coffee I've had. I really love my tea but was recommended a dirty chai and I think its the best I've had in town!! Hands down my favorite drink now! It is so yummy, its the perfect blend between sweet and subtle and I was also able to add some vanilla and it took it to a whole new level! The people there were SO sweet and even brought me my drink. They also have the best back patio that isn't so crowded during the week and its the best little place to hangout and get some work done. I think I found my new little haven in downtown Clovis definitely love this place! Their baristas are amazing and really know what they're doing, they deliver top notch drinks and are super kind and try their best to connect with you! read more

Really loved the vibe of this coffee shop! The interior has a cozy, rustic feel with exposed brick walls and warm wood accents -- it's the kind of place that makes you want to stay a while. I grabbed a coffee and a scone, and both were solid! The coffee was smooth and well-balanced, and the scone was slightly crisp on the outside, and not overly sweet -- just right. It's a great spot to study, get some work done, or catch up with a friend. That said, it's a smaller space and can get pretty packed, especially during peak hours. I heard about this place from some friends a while back and finally decided to check it out and take my hunny with me. Hands down best coffee and service I've ever had! They remembered my name and even brought it right to where we were sitting. From the moment we walked in they said hello and made us feel welcomed. I'd honestly say their customer service is excellent and by far the best I've seen for a coffee shop! They were super helpful in getting the right drinks for us with top notch recommendations! We tried out their Kuppa Joy and a honey joy for the mrs. and we were not disappointed! We will definitely be back!! read more

Just came out here for my nephews wedding in Reedley and he recommended my wife and I go here to try out the place. We loved it! Back in Philly we don't have many hole-in-the-wall coffee shops, just loads of Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts, and this place hits it out of the park. My wife got the Honey Joy and loved the housemade vanilla lavender syrup and I was recommended a pour over as I am a black coffee guy. Both drinks were phenomenal and the pour over hit the flavor notes right on the money all thanks to the baristas information and recommendation (thanks Carson!). Overall great experience! read more

Great atmosphere and great service. I am sympathize being a coffee shop in this starbucks world and know that it can be hard to keep up. The prices just feel a little elevated... And I know what you will say... so i starbucks right? Yes but I can also collect stars and get tons of free drinks including frequent happy hour promotions with starbucks. Again, I get a small chain can't compete and shouldn't be expected to. But could the price maybe be a little lower to make up for it? Again not specific to this location but I do feel like my wallet is a little less heavy when I walk out... read more

Kuppa's trending down. I used to love coming in because the staff was so fun, but the new guy running the place is on the same level of artificial as car salesmen and candy corn. He's really fake when he says hi,w then turns around and bosses the staff around. No thanks. He tried to make my drink the other day and couldn't. But of course instead of asking for help he just gave it to someone and said finish it. That was it for me for a while. read more

Dude. I told all my bros to come check out this joint. Its the dopest place available and they serve up some tasty dranks. Everything looks so fresh and clean. Couple hot babes working the register too. Cant complain about that. The dudes that work there seem pretty chill there though too. This place is always busy and theres a reason for it. The staff, drinks, atmosphere are just all killer. They make a mean cappuccino and if you care at all about your instagram aesthetic, you HAVE to have a picture of their latte art on your feed... Have to. Its practically white girl law at this point. My favorite thing about KJ is that the baristas are really friendly and get to know your name/order when you come in often. My favorite thing about this location is relaxing on the back patio where they have really comfy seating and conveniently placed tables. I've been coming for years since shortly after they opened and I'll be a customer forever! read more

It's a great place to go and get a quality cup of coffee in an awesome environment with friends or even just to bring my toddler. It sometimes can be so loud that carrying on a conversation is really hard and you certainly can't work in there. It's too loud for that for sure. read more
