We stumbled upon this almost hidden gem while wandering around Boston's North End. A quick Yelp check told us everything we needed to know: this place was going to have great sandwiches. It is a bit disorganized, and they may have been short staffed on the Sunday we visited. But if you have some patience, do not mind tight quarters, and love a great sandwich, this is absolutely your spot. We split the Emilia. The woman taking our order asked if we wanted it heated, and we said yes. It was delicious, but honestly, I think this sandwich would have been fantastic cold too. The bread is the star of the show here, along with the roasted tomato aioli. We also grabbed some of the gourmet chips and a surprisingly delicious spicy pineapple soda. Both were great additions to the meal. A heads up: you are going to wait for your sandwich, and seating is limited. There are only a handful of small tables, so if you manage to grab one, hold onto it. If you are a party of two sitting at one of the few four-top tables, be prepared to share with other customers. There were so many sandwiches on the menu that caught my eye. I would happily come back and work my way through the rest of them. A great find and definitely worth seeking out. This sandwich shop was an inpromptu stop because I was hungry but I was not disappointed! It was actually pretty good! The avocados weren't overly ripe and had a firm texture which is the way I prefer them. Also the aioli was gas. Service was really fast but also there was no one else in the store. The worker forgot my avocado because he was on FaceTime while making my sandwich... I had to ask him to add it afterwards. I felt bad but I did order it... There's two different counters inside, one for the charcuterie and one for the sandwiches. Dont stand in the wrong line like I did. We came here on a weekend around noon and there was no wait to order at both the charcuterie and sandwich counters. The employees were friendly and started making our sandwiches fresh immediately. I got the Old School Italian sandwich, based on the picture from their online menu of a hearty sub with several cured meats. However, it turned out to be a lot smaller in person, especially after it was pressed. Since I got my sandwich without cheese, it was not worth it for the price to me ($17). I would come here again for their breakfast sandwiches or charcuterie, but probably not their lunch sandwiches. Kured is a wonderfully curated small sandwich and charcuterie shop. I have been meaning to check this place out for nearly a year now. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all of the questions I had about my order. I tried to Old School Italian sandwich (cold) and it did not disappoint. It typically comes with an olive spread which I opted out of because I really do not like the taste of olives. Instead I subbed it for the cornichon relish and I am very glad that I did. I'm a big fan of cornichons to begin with but the spread worked really well with the sandwich. I also opted to try the sandwich without arugula and tomatoes. Not sure what it is but with an Italian I'm a bit of a fan of just lettuce and onions when it comes to vegetable toppings. The fresh provolone cheese was an incredibly nice touch as well. It was the perfect size sandwich in my opinion. I left full but not stuffed. The price for a sandwich, bag of chips and a water was around $27 which feels a bit high but I can understand the rational being an artisan shop with high end meats and cheeses right in the heart of Beacon Hill on the iconic Charles Street. I visited Kured while visiting friends in Boston, and it was the perfect mid-day snack before grabbing dinner and drinks later in the evening. We built a box with three meats, three cheeses, and three sides. Additionally, you also get a choice of crackers. The highlights of our box included the whipped ricotta with fig jam, the onion jam, and the prosciutto. The staff is very friendly, but you will have to wait a bit to order, especially if there is a line. Additionally, it can get rather hot in the building, especially if there are a lot of people and the weather is nice. However, it is worth the wait! What a lovely little spot. It did look like they have a little seating but I took mine to go and eat in the commons. Right when you come in is the charcuterie and further back is sandwiches and more. I got charcuterie. I did the one with 3/3/3 (the buddy size). I forget just which yummy meats I got but I know I got Parmesan Brie and Gouda. Then grapes and some jam and pineapple and toasts. I wasn't crazy about the pineapple BUT that's a personal choice, I don't really go for dried fruits often. It was still good pineapple tho! It was SO good. Excellent portions perfect for sharing and a very fair price. Absolutely adored all the freshly shaved meats and cheeses. The inside is cute and the women working there were very kind! Feels like a match for Bagelsaurus--a similarly craft bagel place, albeit a bit more Montreal/bread bagel side rather than NY bagel (the latter is our personal preference), but still delicious. I've been meaning to give this place a try since it opened last year and I'm so glad I finally did! Like their website mentions, Kured is basically a Sweetgreen for charcuterie which is genius and right up my alley. I went with the small size of the seasonal Summer Box and everything in it was so tasty (especially the truffle honey *drool*). Loved the inclusion of the fresh tomatoes and strawberries alongside the meat and cheese. It was also cool to see a local brewery collab with the Sip of Sunshine cheddar. Highly recommend picking up a box and walking a few blocks down the street to Boston common to enjoy it in the park. It made for a perfect Saturday afternoon. The store itself is actually really vibey, it has a fun graffiti wall that you can sign and draw on while you wait plus a good selection of charcuterie themed gifts. I'll definitely be back to try some more boards, and looove the idea of ordering catering for an event sometime. read more

Right on Charles street next to the Boston Commons/ Public Garden making it the ideal spot to pickup a charcuterie fix for your picnics. They have a wide selection of cheeses, meats and toppings. They also have fresh bread for $4. The boxes come in a small or large and are very affordable. We decided to go for Local Farmer's Box with Fresh Onion Bread. The total came to around $28. Please don't order delivery from Kured. Every experience I've had with this place has been stress inducing and more trouble than it's worth. I've had Kured twice now, the first time I ordered delivery and it was marked as delivered, but never left the store-- after calling the store, the employees said they could send it out or I could pick it up tomorrow. I opted to go pick it up, and took the train after my classes and I arrived more than an hour before closing time... and Kured was closed! I had even tried calling beforehand a few times to verify if they still had my order in the fridge and they didn't pick up. So the next day I call and they said they'd refund me and give me a gift card to repurchase my order, I repurchased my order with a few add ons and picked it up, and it was missing some important add-ons like jam I paid extra for. I also never got my refund. The second time was more bearable-- I ordered the Valentines platter and picked it up in store. It was $30 and looked much nicer in the picture online, with flowers that weren't pathetic and more meat, but at least the store was open. The meat and cheeses were very flavorful, wouldn't get it again it it was an interesting experience and assortment. Anyway Kured, if you want to reach out and right some wrongs, I'm here! How am I going to say no to that? By name alone. I got 1 year cheddar (holy moly), some parm, Genoa salami, pepperoni, aged prosciutto, Mediterranean olives, clover honey, and roasted cashews. Then, I saw they had braesola. Well, gotta have some of that. No problem, add it in. All said and done, I was in and out in maybe ten minutes. A pleasant experience that only cost me ~$35 for a box that could give enough for 4 charcuterie lovers, maybe 6 if it was presented as an appetizer. Well worth it for good, true charcuterie. The inside looks cute, but is a tad empty as of now. The artwork on the wall was awesome. Menu on the mirror is trendy/pretty, but can be difficult to read. I give it a 3 because even though the idea is great, I think the presentation was just okay and some of the meats were too fatty and tough to eat, as if they were kinda old. The box, which you can see attached, looks decorative enough without much effort being needed. The jams And little spoons were great, but this would have been greatly improved with fruits and crackers. I was so excited by the sandwich menu at this place, as I love a good Italian sandwich, and made a beeline for this place when I last visited Boston. I ended up ordering the truffle trifecta since I can't resist truffle in anything. Unfortunately, this sandwich was just okay. The baguette tasted a little burnt. The truffle salami and truffle cheese didn't deliver the truffle flavor I was looking for, even when I took the sandwich apart and ate them separately. The housemade truffle spread was bizarre--it barely tasted of truffle at all, and was more sour than anything. I didn't finish my sandwich. Maybe I came at a bad time? The employees seemed confused as to how to make the sandwich I ordered, and it took a while for it to come out. Eating in the shop was also really unpleasant. There's barely any seating, just some stools at a counter, and it was really smoky and hazy inside (and not in an appetizing way).
