Chicken Tikka Masala, Thai Basil Fried Rice, and Garlic Nan.

Fantastic meal...fast service and very friendly owner. Chicken Tikka Masala, Thai Basil Fried Rice, and Garlic Nan. Delicious!!!

I have never dined in, but the restaurant looks nice and the staff at the counter are very attentive. This is my go-to for Indian takeout. The dishes I love are samosa chaat and bhindi masala. Be sure to get some naan too. My husband always orders the chili chicken with gravy. I'm a fan of the chicken biryani, but wouldn't order egg again. Portions are great! We always have leftovers. Also, we like food to have some heat and Kurry Zone never disappoints.

The food was good. Mild spice, and very tasty. The man at the counter was exceptionally rude. The hours were posted as open until 10pm, and the door sign also indicated open until 10. We arrived at 9:25pm. Upon entry he demanded "take out only" and had a sour expression on his face. He was rude when we were ordering, instead of clarifying questions, he just repeated himself with rolled eyes. He was also rude to two dine-in customers while we waited for our takeout. The price was only slightly unreasonable. I won't choose to go back unless, again, it's the only thing open.

I am really grateful that Kurry Zone has stayed open for take-out during the pandemic lockdown. Tonight was our fourth time picking up dinner from this excellent restaurant. The food here is outstanding! If you enjoy Indian food, I guarantee you will be happy with your meal here. The online menu that we access from Yelp is well organized by category, such as "North Indian Vegetarian Dishes," "Tandoori," and "Indo-Chinese." I aspire to try all the vegetarian dishes. So far I have had two different types of Dal, Chickpea Masala, and Sag Paneer. Every single dish was cooked perfectly. The food is delightfully flavorful and spicy, without being painfully spicy. My husband and I agreed the standout was the Sag Paneer. Three days after eating it, my husband remarked "that Sag Paneer was superb. I already need to get it again." So tonight we ordered it again! I have always placed my orders over the phone, and arrived in under half an hour to find my dinner well packed in a sturdy bag with handles, ready for me on the counter. The food has been hot and fresh and I have never had to wait. The orders have been 100% accurate every time. Due to the pandemic restrictions, I have not had the opportunity to have an eat-in meal at Kurry Zone, but I have the feeling that they would have nice staff and service. Everyone I have interacted with on the phone when placing my order and when picking up the take-out food, has been pleasant and welcoming. This restaurant is located in the middle of a medium-sized strip mall called Cedar Grove Centre. There is plenty of free parking in the lot. It is well lit at night and in a safe neighborhood. The only thing that might be confusing when getting there is that the name of the restaurant is not included on the list of businesses displayed on the entrance sign. I posted a picture of the front of the restaurant so I hope that helps everyone find Kurry Zone.

Ordered the khati roll, mostly because the menu stated it came with fries. Unfortunately, it did not. That in and of itself was quite disappointing. The fact that the khati roll itself wasn't stellar didn't help. The cardamom flavor was overwhelming. The portion was huge - enough for leftover lunch the next day. And the service was friendly so I'd consider returning to try something off the fusion menu or a safe option like butter chicken.

Consistently delicious food. Warm, friendly, welcoming staff. Best garlic naan I ever had. That lamb korma is soooo good.

Absolutely love this place! I discovered Kurry Zone back during the pandemic and it quickly become one of my favorite places to order takeout from. The food always arrived quickly and was still hot when it reached me. Recently, I had the chance to dine-in and the service was just as good as the food! As soon as we walked through the doors, we were greeted warmly and immediately seated. The food arrived soon after ordering and the staff was very kind and attentive as they frequently checked-in on us and refilled our waters throughout the meal. My favorite item to get from here is the paneer makhani (it comes with rice as well). The sauce is so creamy and flavorful with just the right amount of spice. The portion size is great for the price with it sometimes lasting me two meals. I always get an order of their garlic naan too as the side dish pairs perfectly with the paneer makhani. I have also tried their chicken tikka masala and can say it's just as delicious! The chicken is so tender and cooked perfectly. Having tried the baigan bharta as well, I can say that this place does not miss a beat with any of their dishes! This is a must try spot whether you plan on ordering takeout or dining in! I definitely plan on continuing to come here and trying other items on their menu!

    Chicken Seekh Kebab

I have been going to this restaurant for years. My favorite is their Chicken Seekh Kebab. Despite it being a dry dish the meat was always juicy. But today was such a disappointment...I ordered it and the meat looked old and extremely dry. It tasted more like a paste than actual meat. I paid almost $50 for a meal that was not freshly made. Definitely looking for a new place to eat.

According to my previous Yelp review, they were quick, the food was hot, and I especially enjoyed the Chicken Cashew. This time I ordered the Chicken Cashew again and decided to try the House Special Lo Mein (small), which included shrimp, chicken, and pork. The total came to $23 with tax. The woman at the counter said it would be ready in 5 to 10 minutes, and about six minutes later I was walking out the door with two bags of food. Five minutes later at my hotel, I opened the containers and found everything was still piping hot and quite tasty. The Chicken Cashew came in a relatively light sauce with diced zucchini and wasn't overly salty. The House Special Lo Mein was also very good and surprisingly generous for a small order. The meal included a small container of white rice and two fortune cookies. Kam Luang Chinese Kitchen has a few tables, but it's primarily a takeout restaurant. In fairness, the dining area looks a little tired and could use a facelift, but the food has been consistently good, the service is friendly and efficient, and the prices are reasonable. Overall, another solid experience. Four stars, and I'd happily return.

When it comes to food, I never judge a burger by its bun, so thanks to Yelp for helping me find it. The sign in the window says "Asian fusion" which usually sends me running as it's often a cop-out label for bad mixed-up Asian cooking, but this is authentic y'all, meaning true-to-tradition dishes with a sometimes more contemporary application of ingredients or flavors. The "fusion" part must come from the fact that they have a small Taiwanese section as well as the main Szechuan/Sichuan menu, alongside a few familiar Chinese-American favorites like sesame chicken or broccoli x protein, so you can get that here too. Everything we ordered was phenomenal! Great flavors, generous portions, cooked with confidence and finesse. Compliments to the kitchen - they really know what they're doing. Not a single dish was lacking. They even put out peanuts at the start and serve fresh orange slices at the end of the meal. Very old school. We loved it all: * Salt & white pepper crispy chicken ("Taiwanese specialty") - well-battered and flavored, and perfectly crispy * Taiwanese minced pork rice * Chicken red curry - fabulous, with fresh vegetables and just the right balance of spice * Golden dish (fish) - very special dish in a salted duck egg yolk batter * Beef chow fun * Marinated crispy duck Wish I lived closer, but will definitely come back when we are in the area. And yes, they are spicy, so not a place I enjoyed so much but others in the group liked spicy so they were good. Large square hot pots split into two soups if you wanted with a single clear broth in the center circle in case you needed to cook something not as spicy. A few different broth choices; some at an extra cost (like the pickled mustard + intestine). Meats, seafood, some fried dishes, veggies and noodles all available. Sauces much more limited than what I'm used to elsewhere, and the soy sauce is just labeled as a "special sauce". Big tank of sesame oil, though, that seems to be used a lot by the folks who frequent this particular style of hotpot, so it makes sense. Special dishes like the green pepper-covered beef are great for those who like spice. Meatballs and house made shrimp balls were ok. The noodle I asked how long it'd take to cook, and they basically told me to test like I would with spaghetti- take a piece, break it open and see if it's fully cooked. No sense of time or anything extra in the way of service. Overall too spicy and oily for me, but the lamb was good quality and the ice jelly dessert was an interesting mix of clear jelly, sour plum-like juice and some dessert haw flakes and spices. Not very sweet. Water pitcher and other service items (napkins, chopsticks) were provided initially but for any refills or additional plates, chopsticks, etc. you had to call waitstaff over. Didn't change plates or anything for us. They do take credit cards. Clean and large space, while I'd expected more ventilation, didn't walk out feeling overwhelmed with aromas so something was going for it. Seats were comfortable and they didn't rush us out.
