Wonderfully neat little boba tea/ ice cream shop with some clean aesthetics and menu items with the freshest ingredients. I've tried the lotus tea and several of their ice creams (all delicious but a little pricey for the size). The true star of the show is the Purple Rice Yogurt drink - so deliciously savory and with just the right balance of sweet and creamy. I always get it without the standard crystal boba as you can better enjoy the rustic taste of the individual grains of sticky purple rice so much better. The servers are always so polite and helpful there, and the same high degree of customer care was present from their online support team as they helped me prepare a special gift certificate for my girlfriend. Phoenix olong milk tea is my favorite, Customer service is nice but they never fill up the drink, dont know why. $8 for this drink is konda pricey. My only wish is for them to have more options to adjust the sweetness level but since their drinks aren't overly sweet like other boba shops I think I'm okay for now. Avocado pandan, coconut, durian and lychee. These are fresh and absolutely delicious. They have low lighting with very pretty decor. Go check out this spot next to the HMart in Garden Grove! I've never had vietnamese yogurt before so they gave me a free sample- it is a frozen base that is a bit tart and not too sweet. They blend this base with ice and add-ins for their drinks or you can get scoops of ice cream. I shared the ube vietnamese yogurt drink and it was very good with a slight ube taste and some real ube texture. The size of the drink is pretty big for something this thick, it is great for sharing! read more

I had the the Vietnamese iced coffee with sea salt, the lychee fruit tea, lychee ice cream and the purple rice yogurt Vietnamese ice cream. Very kind staff. Interior has moderate seating and it's clean inside. I got the purple rice yogurt drink with crystal boba and was disappointed to find out that it comes with a coconut/ube flavored yogurt which I didnt like at all. So I went back and ordered the rising phoenix milk tea and that was a bad decision bc the drink was not good. It leaves a terribly bitter aftertaste in my mouth that I can't even finish it. Out of the two choices, I enjoyed the Pandan Coco a bit more. Their Purple Rice drink is a popular drink, and it very unique. If you like the taste of yogurt, then this is a solid choice for you. I prefer lighter drinks that aren't as thick. As for ice cream, I got the chance to try different flavors. Adrian told me that the owner would make the ice cream from fresh ingredients. There's flavors like Pandan Avocado, Ube Coco, Lychee, Durian, and so much more. My friend liked the lychee and the ube coco, so we decided to go with those choices. The ice cream is a lot more creamy and thicker than most ice creams. You can tell it's made from the real fruit. Adrian was very helpful, and super friendly. The service was immaculate. Wanted boba or dessert (obviously), after lunch and wanted something more than our usual boba spots. So I came across KuteKook, I loved that they had more Asian/Vietnamese flavors! What caught my eye was the purple rice yogurt dessert. Once there we were kindly greeted and asked if we wanted samples/recommendations. I didn't end up going with the purple rice yogurt, but the Ube and especially the durian gelato was good! I also ended up getting the lotus seed genmaicha drink. When I first saw this spot pop up on my yelp, I immediately was drawn to the simplicity of the menu. I came in and ordered the coconut ube ice cream because it sounded really good. Stopped by this spot because my friend recommended it and was very pleasantly surprised! This is a Vietnamese owned boba and ice cream spot. Their menu is limited (not small but just very specific drinks versus a place where you can order any kind of tea flavor, etc.) but has a variety of teas, milk teas, coffees, and YOGURT DRINKS. I was intrigued by the yogurt drinks as they were said to be similar to Vietnamese yogurt which I really like. I was super pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. My friend ordered the Ube Yogurt drink and the consistency was smooth (but not super thick like an American smoothie) and really awesome flavor. Just the right amount of sweet with tartness like typical Vietnamese yogurt. I'm definitely ordering this the next time I come here, which will be soon! I ordered the blueberry tea which was REALLY GOOD. I like that the blueberry flavor actually came through versus other places where they don't really make it taste like blueberries. Really enjoyed the menu here. I would say there are only three major MEH points for me. 1. High price point: A drink came out up to 8+ DOLLARS which I think is wild for a boba drink in Orange County...but despite it...I'll be back haha. 2. Location/Parking: Plaza parking is absolutely atrocious. The plaza is pretty small but has a lot of places that you stay awhile...hence parking is AWFUL and you're just looping around forever hoping someone will leave. 3. Didn't like this place one bit. I ordered the pandan milk tea and it was too thick and nutty. Did not smell or taste any of the pandan. Also I asked if I could switch our the crystal boba for regular boba but was refused. Also the cup is filled with lots of ice even after I asked for less ice.
