Went to this restaurant for the second time with my family for lunch. We did not have a reservation either time and the restaurant was gracious enough to accommodate us each time. The prices are a bit high but not uncommon for this area. The venue is located on the popular strip of Mamaroneck ave, in Westchester county. Street parking is available as well as municipal lots around the area. The street meter parking is also reasonably priced. The venue is small but does create a cozy more intimate atmosphere. The music is calming and works well for a fine dining experience. The table settings are modern and elegant. The venue is clean and nicely decorated. The restaurant has a full service bar with specialty drinks. The staff were very friendly and helpful when making decisions about items on the menu and also cleared dishes quickly from the table. The owner checked in with us on more than one occasion and was very personable. The owner also helped us with selecting wine that would pair well with our meal and pallet. The lunch menu is limited compared to the dinner menu however did offer a variety of options. We ordered several appetizers including the grilled prawns, grilled oyster mushrooms, grilled paneer and chicken tikka. The appetizers were well seasoned but not overly spiced, not salty and were presented beautifully on the plates. The grilled items were juicy, flavorful and not overcooked. The grilled items were served with a small cabbage salad and mint chutney. For entrees we tried several items including the butter chicken, chicken curry, and Parsi fish of the day which was sea bass. We also ordered some additional items such as plain naan, the rice trio & chutneys. The fish came wrapped in a banana leaf and was steamed perfectly, served with a side of coconut rice. The watermelon rice and lemon rice sides were also very flavorful. The curries were savory, well seasoned and not too spicy. The curries were perfect for dipping naan or having with rice. The chicken was not dry or overcooked. Vegetarian dishes were also available. To complete our meal we shared a delicious gulab jamun panna cotta. This dish was so fun! Delicate and smooth and not too sweet. It was served with a warm gulab jamun on the dish and was beautifully plated. We also had a cappuccino and masala chai. The restaurant also offered fusion desserts like tiramisu and crème brûlée with an Indian twist. Overall, we had a great dining experience at Kutir and will definitely be inviting our friends and family to join us. Kutir is a new and welcomed luxury dining destination that does not require taking a trip into NYC but offers the elegance and high end dining experience of a restaurant in the city. We look forward to trying the dinner menu soon!

We did not have reservations, and it was a Saturday. The Host told us if we were OK with eating at the bar, they could accommodate us, so we said yes. He told us we should call a week in advance next time. The bar was fun, and the bartender did a good job of taking care of us. The host stopped by to make sure everything was going well. The ambiance is sophisticated, relaxing and exotic. While the place was full, it did not seem loud or chaotic. Sitting at the bar we saw the bartender make all kinds of curious drinks The food was magnificent. We started with Chemmen Olathiathu, described as "Syrian Christian classic shrimp stir fry". It was a little on the spicy side, but quite lovely. The main dishes we had were Goan Seafood Curry and Shrimp Biriyani, and both were flavorful and delicious. The portions were big, and we ended up taking some home. For dessert we had the avocado chocolate mouse, which was not too sweet, light way to end the meal. We have to plan, and make a reservation next time, but we will be back.

True indian food is more flavorful. I appreciate the creativity but it did not work well here. Service is 5 starts and so is the ambiance.

The bar in the front was busy but the dining room was pretty empty so we were able to choose our table. First thing that stood out to me was the cute vibes of the place. The art work on the walls and different backdrops- great for a photo session. We were given two paper menus and an iPad with photos of the food. That was pretty cool, especially for someone like me who likes to see photos of the food I'm eating before I even choose a restaurant. Service was fine and staff were friendly however the wait time for our food especially in an empty dining room took a while. Now, the food was AMAZING. We ordered Cuba Tabaco y Ron (Latino eggrolls) as an app - SO good. We got a Lomo Sushi Roll to share, which was tasty. I got the Roasted Pernil and my husband got the Honey Glazed Salmon. Both were delicious and filling. Would definitely check this place out if you enjoy Latin fusion food. It's such a cute and romantic place. I will say I got a headache from the red lights above us, I wish there would have been more clear lighting at the table but regardless this is a place to check out.

The dim lights, seating, and open kitchen also give a rustic feel. We walked in and were handed champagne; now that's how you say hello! We had a lovely dinner with wine pairings. The food was delicious, the wines were excellent, and we had such a great time!! The proof is in my blurry photos! Service was excellent. The staff is professional and courteous. I ended up buying several bottles of wine from the shop next door who carried the featured wines for the event. I will definitely come back for another event.

I was excited for farm to table in westchester because there aren't great options as of now but this is really missing the mark... the food is extremely flavorless to the point that discerning the short rib from the duck breast is difficult.... None of the protein is cooked properly it all came out super chewy. The apps were nothing special and the dessert (doughnuts) were notably bad, they were burnt? And also had no flavor. Not to mention the plates were dirty and the waitress was quite abrasive. If you simple want calories in I suppose this place is fine but if you are looking for a solid dining experience I would not come here. Definitely not returning.

After several years experience at breweries like Voodoo Brewing and Kent Falls Brewing, Ross accepted a position as a head brewer at Twelve Percent Beer Project in North Haven. He only agreed to take the job if he could simultaneously launch his own brand. He named it "Marlowe" after his maternal grandfather. In October 2022, Marlowe opened as a brick & mortar brewpub in Nyack (NY). Unfortunately it closed six months later due to irreconcilable differences with the landlords. When a location formerly home to Decadent Ales became available in Mamaroneck in 2023, Brian Barclay of Barclay Brewing (another gypsy brewing operation that had worked out of Twelve Percent) jumped at the chance to create his own brewery collective and invited Ross to come on board as a partner. The partnership was dubbed the "New York Craft Coalition" and opened August 2023. In addition to their own brands' beers, Barclay and Ross collaborated on new ones. The union was short-lived, however, with Barclay Brewing moving out of the space just eight months later. Marlowe Artisanal Ales took over the whole space and had their 'Grand Re-Re-Re-Opening' in April 2024. My sons and I recently visited Marlowe Artisanal Ales for lunch. I had previously visited the space when it was still New York Craft Coalition (and even earlier when it was still Decadent Ales). After looking over the menu, my sons ordered and shared the "Basket of Fingers" (chicken fingers, fries, choice of dipping sauce), I had the "Burger Special" (Koji aged beef patty, mushrooms, onions, pepper jack cheese, apple smoked bacon, garlic aioli), and we all shared the "Eggplant Chips" (thinly sliced and fried eggplant drizzled with spicy honey). Everything was fantastic! To wash everything down, I had a draught pours of "While We Wait" (English-style Pub Ale), "Ghost Signatures: Nelson" (New England IPA), and a can pour of "Psychic Cyberwolf 3005" (Imperial Pastry Stout collaboration with Timber Ales). The latter was my favorite! I really enjoyed my visit to Marlowe Artisanal Ales and I hope to return!!
