It also was covered with a fairly tender layer of barbecued beef plus slices of fresh avocado. Big serving - big flavor. Also grabbed a half dozen "Colombian" style empanadas (2 of each type: chicken, beef, or cheese.) Well cooked, slightly thick cornmeal crust and amply filled. I've been trying to find a way to put in orders ahead of time in hopes of saving time. Pickup orders sometimes require a lengthy wait! I've tried calling ahead but, again, limited staff, so no one ever answers. Their online pickup ordering system charges a $3.00 fee which is above and beyond the tip. Wish that wasn't the case but if $3 saves 30 minutes of wait time, I guess it's worth it!

As I was standing up to get away from it, I turned around and saw the wall behind me. There were several crawling along the top of the wall and down behind the pictures. I looked down on the floor and realized there were several crawling on the floor also. The staff acted unbothered by it so I guess they're used to them. I've lived in Florida for 24 years and I'm used to Palmetto bugs also. I'm just not used to seeing them inside a restaurant flying around while I'm trying to eat. I really really really like the charro bean soup at Pedro's but I'm sorry I won't be back. It's just way too disgusting.
