This is an update to my previous review, which had given this shop the benefit of the doubt since they "manned up" and replaced my damaged oil pan. In short, they struck again...with the BRAND NEW oil pan they installed. First off they didn't even use the stock drain plug that COMES WITH the oil pan. Instead they cut another bolt that was longer and shoved it in there, which damaged the threads, On top of that they tightened it with an impact wrench to the point that my real mechanic had to struggle to break it loose. In short, this "full service" mechanic shop is full of incompetent workers who either don't know what they're doing or they just don't care at all. Avoid them if possible. read more

It's been about a month in a half now and I have not received my refund. I called twice up there and every time I called they said Chris was not there and I left them a message and no reply. He told me I will get my refund back if I delete the review and I thought wow that great but when it never came I thought wow this place is full of it. There liars. read more

Do not go here. They spot people who dont know about cars a mile away. Quoted my son $400 to change the belts on his car. A 30 minute job was done in my driveway instead. Went for reinspect today, 2 guys sweeping and another playing on his phone, no one working and making me wait. Only needed a headlight and gas cap looked at to finish inspection. I was told they only had '1 guy doing inspects and he goes at his own speed.' Not cool. I told my son to never go here. I only went back because he had already paid for inspect. Well i am willing to pay a 2nd time for an inspect somewhere else . These guys dont know what they are doing except robbing people. read more

I having been using this location for a few years now, and I think they are great. They have NEVER tried to sell me anything I didn't ask for. They are always fast and courteous. The first time I took in my Mazda, they came to me to explain it needed synthetic oil, which is much more expensive. The oil cap specified the kind of oil, and they brought it to show me. I felt very comfortable they were only doing what was called for. Also, they don't treat me like I am stupid, just because I am a woman. I do go on weekdays, never weekends. I like this place and feel like they're honest but you never know what kind of customer service you'll get. There are a couple guys who are super nice, professional and extremely helpful when you have questions about your vehicle or what they're recommending. Then there are a couple guys who aren't very helpful but get the job done. And then.... then there's Will. Will answers the phone sometimes but hates it. He hates the phone, he hates talking to you, and if you have a question (God forbid) he'll literally hang up on you. Because of that, I couldn't give more than 3 stars. They're also kind of bad a estimating your wait time. I've been here a couple times and understand that sometimes things can take longer than expected, but out of the few times I've been here I've always waited at least 45 minutes more than I was told. read more

Bad customer server and overcharged. Went in for a oil change. 40 mins latter they say they could not get off the oil filter and they will have to tie it to the last place who did the work at last places charge or mine. (Tow Services). I call BS and tell them to get the work done here and it is their responsibilitie to get it fixed. They did after 100 later. Shout out to Kwik Kar Lube on White Settlement Road. I went in yesterday toward the end of the lunch hour to get a state inspection, so I was prepared to have to wait a while to get it done. I was greeted almost immediately in the clean, cool reception area by a courteous worker who assured me it would only take 15-20 minutes depending on whether or not anything needed to be fixed. In less than 15 minutes, I was at the counter again paying out. Knowing that I was needing to get my license tag, I was also given some helpful information to help with that. I've been going to this location for almost five years. Stopped by today to get the air checked in my tires. One guy was very nice. Another totally lied about checking my tire. I monitored it in my car. He said psi was 60. He was not only rude but a total liar. They just lost my business. read more

These guys have gone above and beyond to help me get back on the road. I don't know anything about cars and they have always kindly answered my questions. They saved me a lot of money when it came to replacing my car horn. They have also helped me get back on the road as quickly as possible because I could not afford to miss work and school. AWFUL place. Do not use them. Daniel the "master tech" will use textbook code to shadow grey areas to windle you out of your money. Charged me $150 bucks to fix my air conditioning, but instead told me his un-experienced guess as to what was wrong with my air conditioner. Wasn't even right. He made it out to be the whole works to go towards fixing my car. Save yourself the hassle. He preys on using an air of dominance and lack of patience so people do not question his authenticity and his word. read more

If I could rate a 0, I would. I went to get a state inspection and entered the business at 4:13pm (store closes at 5pm). One customer was in the lobby with his vehicle in the bay. Three employees that I could see. Trelle immediately tells me they are closed, even though they are supposed to be open until 5pm, no sign in the door stating otherwise, and the front door unlocked. When I ask him if the 5pm closing time was accurate, he says the owner had an emergency that day. He then told me another employee had the emergency. Then he says the manager had the emergency. So I ask for the owner's name to make sure he knows how the business is turning customers away, and he tells me HE is the manager. I call the number provided (a glass repair # - not even sure he provided the correct number), left a message without any response. Anyhow, I went a block away and got my vehicle inspected. I cannot imagine how a business stays open if they seemingly cannot continue to operate with 3 employees when someone who is not there has "an emergency." It appeared as though they just wanted to close down early to go home early when the boss left. read more

Drove to Kwik kar today in a hurry and saw 3 employees sitting in the shop doing nothing. I had used this place for years but boy, this place has changed alot. today my wife hurried home in hopes to get an inspection. I arrived at kwik Kar at 5:50pm. We desperately needed an inspection and after telling them my story, they said "No" they couldn't do it. The guy said they dont give inspection after 5:30... Really??? Even though I was in a pinch they still said NO! So, I took my vehicle down the road and got my inspection.. Another time I went to Kwik Kar and got a price for a oil change. I was told it would cost $98.50. I said what ?? I ended up changing my own oil on this vehicle and it cost me about $35 (oil and filter).... So, this amounted to $63.50 over priced...This is full blown SCAM and price gouging. To the people that give this place a 5 star rating, 5 star on ripping you OFF... I'M DONE ... read more

I had a bad experience with this place. For the first time since I bought my car from the manufacturer, it failed the inspection because of the window tint. After consulting with the dealership, the mechanic at Kwik Kar did not read the inspection manual properly. It passed inspection from the dealership as it has passed every year since I bought it. The Mechanic was rude and I believe he enjoys failing people for ridiculous theories. After talking to one of the auto parts stores in the area, they told me they have been hearing a lot of complaints lately about Kwik Kar. If this is the type of education level and behavior that Kwik Kar hires to represent them, I will never step foot in another Kwik Kar anywhere in the country. read more

Awful does not begin to describe the experience that I had today at Kwik Kar in White Settlement. First, they put regular oil in my car when I use Mobil 1 synthetic oil. I discovered this fact due to the low cost of the bill. Please note that I alerted the employee before hand to use synthetic oil, Also, I had a Kwik Kar sticker stating what was used previously at my last oil change. The owner did replace the oil with synthetic allegedly; However, it was not Mobil 1, but a cheaper synthetic. He refused to put Mobil 1 in my car. read more

I took my 2002 Toyota because it did not ride like it did when it was new. I got a phone call with in an hour of drop off telling me the shocks where worn out. I was given an est told it would be done by the end of the day. I got a phone call about 2:30 saying the vehicle was ready for pick up. So on the way home it was just like a new vehicle again I was so pleased, it was ready way before the time they said it would be. Once again, I return to Kwik Kar because I know my Vehicles will be fixed...CORRECTLY every single time! ..thanks, Daniel and ALL involved with fixing my Nissan Titan Truck that Nissan of Ft Worth almost destroyed! Long story short...I took my Truck in to Nissan for a low Tire, and ((2 hrs later)), they come back with a $1200 (Suggestion List) that they thought I needed - I only wanted a Tire fixed, not a 160 Pt Check List done!! After they fixed my Tire, Nissan sent my Truck ((loaded)) with about 2 inches of left-over CUSHION Sand in the bed, through their CAR WASH!! WHAT??? Who does that sort of thing?? Needless to say, ALLL that Cushion Sand (which turns to compacted Talcum Power Cement when wet) was picked up by the Brushes, the Cloth Dangling things, and recirculated, and got into every crevice of my Truck you can imagine! In the Rotors, in the Brake Pads, the Brake Pistons, inside the Drive Shaft, inside my New $500 Head & Tail Lights, inside my Vents by the windshield...EVERYWHERE!! (and yes, I have plenty of pictures) .. I did not even make it home (4 miles) before my Truck Front-end locked up and I almost crashed on 820N & White Settlement....GRRR!!! I just wanted a Tire fixed!! I got it back on the road and barely made it home and Emailed Nissan that night, telling them what they did, and that my Truck had to be towed back to Nissan - They did tow it, but came back with a Diagnosis that was not even needed!! I took my Truck out of there because they denied their Car Wash had done anything! REALLY?? You send a Truck full of Cushion Sand through a Car Wash..and expect nothing to happen?? GRR - I made it 3 miles down the road and the front-end locked up AGAIN!! I barely made it to Kwik Kar and the Owner, Mark, suggested I leave it for Daniel to look at it the next day - I did, and then the Horror Story began - Daniel had to replace the Rotors, Brake Pads, Brake Pistons, a DRIVE SHAFT for petes sake!! Had to do a complete Brake Line overhaul with Drain etc, etc - $2000 later, and my Truck is like New again! Kwik Kar even bought the Drive Shaft for me and saved me S & H and got it for a Better Deal than I would have paid..and even allowed my Truck to stay on one of their Two Lifts for a whole week until the Drive Shaft came in! YOU GUYS ROCK!! Can not say enough about Kwik Kar and the Employees and Owner, and most of all, Daniel, wow! - Both of my Vehicles will (always) go to Kwik Kar on White Settlement first!!
