This is my opinion, your mileage may vary. Frankly, I'm bummed. This place was great and I always trusted their advice. They've been gracious about fixing a problem on the bottom of my car for free, it's a quick fix but they created the problem when they did an oil change a few years ago. The problem now, is they upsell like crazy. I took my car in for an oil change and inspection. Naturally they called my attention to the dirty air filters. Cool, they needed replacement. Then they pointed to the splice on the serpentine belt and said it needed to be replaced because it was showing "bare metal." Looked like the normal splice to me. They wanted to replace it for well over $300--far more than the typical range, nationally. I called another trusted shop that I use and asked if they could take a look. A few minutes later I'm meeting with them and they tell me there was absolutely nothing wrong with the belt. They said if I had needed it, it would have been more like $150. Be careful with these folks, they've apparently gotten desperate and need to gouge their customers for additional services that are not needed. I should have been suspicious when I saw their entire staff sitting around in the bays with nothing to do when I pulled up. They might not be doing very much business. The service and honesty of the guys at this shop are amazing. I went in for a radiator flush, and the Manager came out after his crew spent quite a bit of time and informed me I had a cracked pipe causing the leak. He said it would be a waste of money to fill up the coolant; and referred me to the dealership or another shop that could do the work. No charge for their time. very unprofessional. tech has no integrity, I went in there for a state inspection only, tech then tride to sale me air filter and I refused. later going home I hear a noise com from engine compartment. got home to look at it and open it up to see that Air filter box is broken. at this point it's past 5:30. so nex morning I went back and showed then that there tech installed old filter in wrong, it's only fits one way and broke off the tabs, there manager said I broke it and leave, now going have sue them , why would I break it, I only went there for a inspection. beware. if you have them work on your car then check it before you leave. read more

An employee old man was extremely rude to my father yelling at him to touch his car when state inspections are not required anymore, and then when he got the manager that he has talked to multiple times the manager would not back him up and took up for his incredibly rude employee. Horrible business and when I come in by myself, as women they constantly try to up sale me on things my brand new car doesn't need as if I don't know anything about cars. 0/10 would never recommend, go to 5 min oil place on Preston instead very nice guys who just love cars over there. As I've gotten a response from the owner who directly witnessed his employees unprofessionalism as his own, I will continue to tell the people I know not to go there as the owner has just lied to me and everyone who can see this. Kwik Kar Panther Creek was recommended by my car club. I took my car in for a radiator flush/fill and an oil change last Dec. I left with the car leaking red fluid, I saw it dripping. I thought "surely they wouldn't let me leave here if the car were leaking fluid". The next day when I drove 5 miles for lunch the car almost overheated. Yep, when I arrived home there was a red puddle of what I would later find out was coolant. I'm old school and only knew about green coolant. I called and spoke with the owner who told me to bring it back. Yeah, sure, I want to drive 17 miles on the freeway with a car that is leaking coolant. I think NOT. The owner did offer to send a flat bed but at that point I no longer trusted Kwik Kar. I had a mobile mechanic come to my home and he showed me a small hole in the radiator that he said probably happened if the force of the the flush was too strong. I admit the radiator was 10 years old but if I was taking a chance in having it flushed I should've been so advised prior to the work being performed. My invoice from Kwik Kar Panther Creek listed "inner tie rod" as a recommended repair. Too bad the mechanic that wrote the report couldn't be bothered to document WHICH tie rod LEFT, RIGHT, FRONT, REAR??? Who knows. Don't let the "Vet owned" advertisement sway you, they can screw you just as well as anyone else. Avoid at all costs. read more

I brought my infinity for state inspections and I was happy that it was pretty quick. I drove my car next day and there is no air coming from my AC. Blower is working fine but no air. I took my car to Dealer. They found out that air filter was installed incorrectly thus blocking all air from coming to cabin. Air filter door was also missing. I had to leave my car at the dealer for 2 days for diagnosis and ordering the missing part. All this due to irresponsible employees working at this place. We took my son's car in to have looked at. They said it was a radiator problem and we paid $1,600 to fix it. After that, we noticed he wasn't getting any heat to come out and it was making a clicking sound. We took it back and they immediately said it wasn't related to the radiator issue. This was without even looking. They did tell us they thought they knew what it was but asked us to bring it back to be diagnosed. After the car was there an entire Saturday, they told us to bring it back Monday and they would repair it. They admitted some if the issues were due to the previous repair, that they would take care of, the rest would cost $240. So, Monday we bring it in and when we dropped it off they said it would take about 1.5 to 2 hours. This was 11:00am. After it got to 4:00pm and not hearing anything, I told my son to call. They told him it was being diagnosed??? Another hour went by and it was getting time for closing so I called. I got a young lady on the phone who told me the car hadn't been worked on any the repair was now going to be $1,800. I was in shock. We had brought it in 3 times for this same issue. We were expecting to pick up the vehicle and pay the $240 as originally quoted. So as I spoke to the girl on the phone, she said something to the effect that the first quote was fine by someone not as qualified as the better mechanic who looked at it today. She apologized but didn't seem to really care much. I went in and had a few more words with her. She was rude and basically argued with me. She kept backtracking and nothing she said made sense. We walked out and I will never go back they. I live in the neighborhood right by them and my entire family services their cars with them...not any longer. And one other thing, my son was once told he needed his steering fluid flushed and it was going to cost almost $200. They said it needed it and was unsafe for him to be driving. He hasn't had a single issue with his steering. They take advantage where they can and hard sell you on things you don't need. I'd think twice before going to this location. read more

I have never had an issue with this place while getting oil changes there over the last two years. Extremely disappointed that yesterday I went to get my oil change and the girl at the front comes back and recommends that I get my brake done, some sort of fluid flush and replacing the engine filter. She quotes me $330 for the brakes and around $25 for the engine filter. Less than 24 hours later I return to get my brakes done, after looking at the website and seeing an advertisement that said 299-329 for most cars, which is consistent with what she said. I leave my car there at 8am and return at noon to pick it up to be told the total is over $800, stating that it's 329 per axle, plus a piece that broke in the process and the engine filter. After back and forth with the manager, he gave 25% off and kept stating that he's never experienced this and insinuating it was my confusion, which I would expect no less from someone looking to put responsibility on the customer and not take responsibility for anything. Point is, disclose prices up front on the site coupons AND by employees. Fixing something you broke doesn't make you honorable, it makes you look deceitful and shade as heck! I don't mind paying for stuff when I know what the price is upfront. Not my expertise so when I get a quote from her and see the attached coupon online that also says 299-329 for brakes, rotors and labor WITHOUT calling out that it's per axle, I assume she's being honest and providing the right information. read more
