From a very unhappy customer: Brought my vehicle to Kwik Kar in Royse City for the last time. They accidentally popped my tire completely and broke the spare tire hoist during a 5K miles Oil Change. They only reimbursed me a fraction of the damages they caused and left me to pay the rest. This was after they agreed in writing to pay me back for all the damages involved. Even worse was their rude and aggressive attitude in handling this matter! Never before have I encountered such unprofessional, uncaring and rude behavior from a business. I took my vehicle to Kwik Kar in Royse City for the last time. I went in for an oil change. However, they caused my nearly new tire to go completely flat when checking the tire pressure. Then they caused additional damage when they tried to reinstall my spare tire!!! What's worse is that the manager told me to get the damages fixed and they would pay me back, only to be reimbursed for the tire damage but not the tire mounting damage which cost $347.97!! If that wasn't enough, the manager was extremely rude, uncaring and very unprofessional on two occasions for other customers to also hear. A friend Robbie Chavers & I recently visited the Kwik Kar in Royse City, TX for an inspection of his 2021 Kia SUV ..a basic car inspection and he was extremely disappointed in the experience for the following reasons. He arrived at 8:00 and was the first one to be waited on Although he was told it would take 20 minutes ...would only be 20 minutes ( talk about overpromising and under) , it was clear from the outset that the staff were understaffed and unprepared for the amount of customers that were waiting for service And inspections. He figured first come first serve so he parked his car and we walked over to get donuts two businesses down on the other side of Arby's and then went to Starbucks and then came back 25 minutes later only to see his car still parked, where he left it. When he walked into the customer care waiting lounge he was told they will get his car right in and It was eventually inspected and we left at 8:56 AM which was about 35 extra minutes from what they said . He before he left asked why it took so long and he was not provided with a satisfactory explanation as to why my wait time was so long. Additionally, the manager, Will came into the customer care waiting center, and before his car was ready started confronting him about saying negative things while on the phone with one of Robbie's other friends. Apparently one of the customers went to the manager and said there's a guy in your waiting room saying negative things about the wait at this place so the manager will came and confronted and embarrassed Robbie in front of all the other customers there in the lounge... Robbie took out his camera and went to videotape and take a picture of this manager and record the diatribe but the manager said put away that phone there's no videotaping in here and so he was a middle-aged white man that was bullying Robbie in front of the other customers, and it was quite embarrassing ...try to embarrass robbie front of everybody by saying that he was saying bad things about the business, which was all true but the point is he was trying to embarrass Robbie in front of everybody in the waiting room. The world is full of bullies, and this man was no exception, and he runs the joint lol!!!!! Additionally, the staff seemed uninterested in explaining the process and results of my inspection clearly. In sum, I strongly advise everyone to avoid Kwik Kar in Royse City, TX unless you're desperate and a loser and have nowhere else to go and find an alternative service provider that respects its customers' time and offers a much more satisfactory service.... And one that doesn't severely punish you if you say anything negative in front of their face. Little do they know that we live in an era of social media and this post will reach a lot more people than the six people that were in that waiting room. I've got my car back so I'm saying something. Please do not use Kwik Kar in Royse City. The owner is rude and unprofessional. Faulty oil change and my engine blew. He says it's my fault since I waited too long to take it in, but I had no idea something was truly wrong until I broke down on the highway after my engine seized. He refused to tell us whatever actually happened to cause this. He supposedly tried to report it to his business insurance who didn't accept the claim. I then luckily had mechanical insurance on my policy. After 6 weeks, issues after issue and paying out of pocket for a rental I have my car. We asked him for the name of his business insurance as I want to claim the 1,400 in rental fees and he told us no and we can take him to court if we want..... He's yelled at us, told us he's out money until he is paid back, and is just rude. We are out money and won't be paid back by anyone and he's made a profit off screwing up our engine to start with. We shouldn't have ever believed him to fix his shops mistake, and that is on us...but do not go here. Ever. I now have read google reviews and we definitely aren't the first ones to be screwed over.
