10 stars if I could! As a New Yorker living in Pittsburgh, I take my cheesecake seriously!!! Kyle's Cakes N'at absolutely delivered. I got to try the plain cheesecake, buckeye, lavender, double chocolate, biscoff, and key lime pie, and honestly every single one was delicious! His cakes are made with alot of labor & love! What made this experience even more amazing, was getting to go behind the scenes and actually help make a ton of different cheesecakes. Such a fun, hands on experience getting to see Kyle in action and the amount of hard work that goes into every order. I loved hearing his stories about his childhood and his family influences. Kyle is only 31 and has owned his business for over 7 years! That's impressive. You can really see the passion behind his baking. He works incredibly hard and even sacrifices a lot of his social life to keep growing his business, perfecting his craft, and supporting his community. Kyle's nails marketing with a very recognizable and obvious logo! We immediately wanted to get a slice of the key lime cheesecake... and luckily snagged the last one. "He's making whipped cream in front of us while we wait," I say, seeing the whipping action happen, followed immediately by piping onto our cake. "It's so fresh!" After many recommendations from friends, I finally tried Kyle's when getting a cheesecake for my aunt's birthday. The options and varietal are the best locally. While we waited he talked to my kids and gave them both a cookie. Cake was a huge hit. My aunt gets cheesecake every year for her birthday and this is a new tradition. AMAZING! I posted on Reddit asking the Pittsburgh sub where the best cheesecake was. Kyle's Cakes N'at had the most suggestions. They were SPOT ON. We bought four different flavors and they are each unique but equally delicious. Fluffy yet dense in the best possible way with perfect filling to crust ratio. Staff was super friendly and went out of her way for us. I was pleasantly surprised when I was told the total of all I purchased. Planning on recommending this place to everyone. I gave up on cheesecake years ago, never tasted one I liked and couldn't figure out what all the fuss was about. Then, for my friend's birthday I got him a cheesecake from Kyle's because it's his favorite dessert, he's my friend, and it was delivered to my house. Win, win, win. Anyway, back to the cheesecake. Saw Kyle at the Squirrel Hill farmers market. He's friendly, nice and personable. He makes the best cheesecakes. Very informative about how long the cheesecake would last. OMG! Okay...full disclosure...I'm inclined to think there's almost no such thing as bad cheesecake. Some are just better than others. Found their booth at a boutique market in the strip district. They had cheesecake samples and my wife and I tried two flavors before settling on the Cookie's and Cream cheesecake. The 4 inches round cheesecakes were all $12, which was reasonable and easily enough for two or three people. The cheesecake was good, nice and soft with a great Oreo flavor. read more

I was recently telling my husband that I can't think of one place to buy a decent cheesecake in Pittsburgh, and proceeded to tell him about this cheesecake boutique in L.A. that I missed so much. I happened upon this vendor at the GoodTaste! Pittsburgh Hometown Homegrown Food Fest and my hubby surprised me with Kyle's caramel cheesecake. One taste, and I got up to buy more! We also had the lemon-raspberry and pumpkin cheesecakes--Kyle clearly uses fresh pumpkin, which he confirmed. Impressive. Our overall experience with this cheesecake artisan is giving, "I love what I do and you will, too!" History

Established in 2019.

A University of Pittsburgh Alumni, Co-Founder and Owner, Kyle Rozycki, graduated with a degree in history but spent most of his free time cooking dinners and baking custom cheesecakes for family and friends, until they urged him to pursue his true passion! His mom, Lisa Rozycki, was semi-retired from a long marketing career, so together they formed Rozycki Desserts LLC. Growing up in Berks County, PA, Kyle was cooking alongside his family for parties and holidays, and as a young boy, even won first place in a Berks county-wide baking contest in the dessert category for what else?!—a cheesecake. Since then, his love and appreciation of great food has grown tremendously. While I waited in a slowly moving line of other customers to order from the bakery, I browsed the shelves in the market. I saw cheeses, bottled beverages such as wines, packaged foods such as grape leaves, and chocolates. I could not find price tags on all foods, so I recommend that those be added. I purchased three baked goods for a total of $15. I rate the croissticky as 5 stars, the cinnamon roll as 3.5 stars, and the raisin-oatmeal cookie as 4 stars.
