I came to Kyma Flatiron to celebrate my birthday and it was such an experience. I've never been to a dinner club before, but this definitely set the bar for me!! It made me want to come back again and actually start going to more places like this. [[HIGHLIGHT]]From the moment we got there, the energy was just there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The DJ was so fun and really kept the vibe going all night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food and drinks were so delicious, everything hit. [[HIGHLIGHT]]But honestly, what sold me the most was the overall vibe; it's the perfect mix of dinner and a night out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's one of those places where you're not just eating, you're actually enjoying the whole experience. Such a fun birthday spot and I'll definitely be back.

I've been meaning to check this place out, and boy they didn't disappoint, our bartender Danielle was actually friendly attentive and social (haven't had that in a while). When I tell you everything we had was delicious from the seafood tour to the dessert. We had this Greek Sauvignon Blanc delish and her espresso martini perfection. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was early in the dinner shift so it was pretty quiet but the restaurant is definitely giving sexy and initiate.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I heard on weekends at night it gets live have to come back and check it out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

- Came here for a friend's birthday and was really satisfied with the service and food. We got bottomless brunch, which allowed us to order any of the entrees with the option of multiple drinks. The waiters and the manager were extremely attentive, and the drinks were good, and food options all pretty sizable! I tried the chicken souvlaki, and was pleasantly surprised by the balanced tzatziki flavor and yummy fries. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Would definitely come back, and they were accommodating with a wide variety of table sizes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Love this place. Perfect spot for drinks and snacks--my regular Tuesday instantly turned terrific. We sat at the bar, and I wish I remembered the bartender's name because he was fantastic: courteous, friendly, and made me a great drink. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance and hospitality are on point.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had the Greek salad, Greek fries, and of course a glass of suncere & French 75 not too sweet. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is beautifully decorated, and the manager actually walks around checking on guests, which I love--great attention to detail.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Kyma is a must if you're visiting NYC and want to have a super fun girls night out. The ambiance, food, and atmosphere is so much fun![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Take perfect place for delicious food and if you like to dance. Service is also great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My friends and I went on a Saturday night, and it was packed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We arrived a bit early so we sat at the bar and enjoyed some cocktails while we waited for our reservation time to be seated. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share, which I'd highly recommend as there are so many delicious items you should try there. My favorites were the lamb chops, the branzino, and the halloumi. They were all good portion sizes to share and delicious. We also enjoyed the fresh warm pita they provide. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Once we finished our meal, we were take downstairs to their dancing area, where the DJ was playing good music, and we danced the night away![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was such a fun night! I can't wait to come back!

We went here to have dinner with a side of fun!!! Totally worth it, great Mediterranean food. We had this delicious Mediterranean salad to start then we each for a main. Branzino, lamb and short ribs all around the table. The food was great and since we for a late reservation....we were there in perfect time for the after party. The timing couldn't have been better, we had dinner, sang happy birthday, then they threw napkins in the air to some awesome house music. Once we finished dinner we migrated further into the restaurant where it basically thens into a dance party with more napkins being thrown in the air. What great time and a great place for dinner with a side of fun.

Lobster Pasta

Incredible. Our experience at Kyma was absolutely wonderful. We came in for my birthday dinner and I genuinely can't speak highly enough about the experience that we had. The lobster pasta was extremely good and the appetizers that we had for the table as well as the dessert were all fabulous. Service could not have been better and we were treated extremely well. The ambience of the restaurant is quite loud and more of a party atmosphere but that's exactly what we were looking for and celebrating my birthday. I wouldn't suggest coming here if you're looking for a quiet intimate dinner as that's not really what Cama is about but if you're looking for a more lively experience, look no further because you found your spot. Overall, we had a absolutely great experience at Kmart and would recommend anyone to have a birthday here or fun dinner with friends. We can't wait to come back.

Greek Salad

Came here after trying on wedding dresses and was pleasantly surprised by this lovely menu. The service is quick, the staff were personable and the food was amazing. I came with a party of 5, ordered a bunch of apps and we all shared. We started with the dips and the Greek salad. My friends and I have been on a spicy feta kick and this one did not disappoint. Not too spicy, very creamy, and served with beautiful pita bread. The Greek salad was so flavorful with lots of feta. They serve the halloumi with honey and candied lemon peels. An interesting twist that made my mouth happy. The zucchini chips changed many peoples perspectives on their opinion of the squash at the table. It was served with tzatziki and became a dish that made me look forward to my mother's next zucchini harvest next year. I know what we all will be attempting to make! We ended with the baklava which several people at the table claimed to be one of the best ones they have ever had. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Apart from the food, the restaurant offers a great moody ambiance that would make this a great location for a date.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff were laughing with us as they cleaned several broken glasses one of my friends kept knocking into. No anger, just pure comedy all night long. We truly enjoyed this experience and are eager to come back to this location to indulge in not only a lovely meal, but also great company.

This place is so fun! The food was good and plentiful. The waiters were at our service throughout the entire experience. Bartender did great with all of the drinks and for them our fast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Around 10pm, napkins were passed out and the dancing on top of chairs began! Very lively experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We went to Kyma with a large group and had dinner. Arrived around 6pm and restaurant was empty, however by the time we left, it was full on a weeknight. It was a wonderful experience all around! The food, service and ambiance was top notch! So glad we found this restaurant, note Kyma also has a different location in Hudson Yards. First, we got a great recommendation from our server regarding the wine, and ended up getting a delicious Greek wine to pair with our meal. For apps, we ordered beets salad (which had pomegranate, and was so flavorful!), hummus dips, octopus, fried zucchini, and crab cakes. We could've skipped the hummus, that was not as impressive in flavor as the beets salad and the crab cakes, which were major highlights! For our entrees, we also had major hits, such as the dorado, giant shrimps, lobster pasta, and braised short ribs. Love the flavor of each dish. Overall, excellent restaurant with great food! Kyma may actually be better than some of famous greek spots in the city! We will absolutely return!

Lamb Chops

I've been to other locations, but this is my first time being in flat iron location. We happen to stumble upon the brunch menu, which was fine. Appetizers were great. My husband had the lamb chops, which he described was very delicious. Service was great. There was not a lot of people however there was a group of people that were quite loud and we had to move towards the front which was more empty and less of a headache.

A party of 3 sat at a table for 2!!!

Honestly, this was a terrible experience. We had a 9:00 PM reservation for my sister's birthday celebration and still had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. What's the point of making a reservation if you're not going to honor it? [[HIGHLIGHT]]It got worse when they sat our party of three at a table for two. We immediately said it wasn't okay..it was cramped and uncomfortable, especially being right by the kitchen with constant traffic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We didn't see any other party of three being sat at a two-top, which made it even more frustrating. We were also the only three Latinas there, and the whole situation didn't sit right with us. One manager told us he'd get us a table for four, so we waited another 30 minutes... for nothing. No update, no follow-through. Then when I spoke to another manager, he was rude and dismissive. He told us to "look around" because the place was packed and said he had nothing to do with the table situation. No apology, no effort to fix anything. At that point, we just left. Completely ruined what was supposed to be a special birthday celebration. Really disappointing and unprofessional.

Tzatziki

My sister wanted to do her bachelorette here but decided against it, so we came post wedding for dinner instead. I have spent time in the Mediterranean so my comparison will be a bit biased. We got the dolmas, 6 dips, octopus and sea bass. Overall the food was good, but not excellent or superb. In terms of quality of ingredients and how close they can mimic to authentic Mediterranean dishes, pretty good. The servers did a good iob explaining all the gluten free and non dairy options to me as I have some food restrictions, I asked for veggie sticks instead of bread for the dips and they were very accomodating.

First thing you'll notice upon entry is how absolutely decorated it is. If you're a fan of Witcher, it's like walking into an an old-timey tavern. If you have no idea then-- it's like an old-timey tavern. I wouldn't be surprised of they had bard Fridays and homemade mead. It's also a big space. Reminds me of one of the last remnants of the bygone era that was the Obama-era glow. Like peak millenial where restaurants were starting to get viral but not to the point where they have to hyper compete with a gimmicky dish. The prices are a bit steep and was making me consider dropping my rating down a star but fuggit, I like their food. I played it safe and got the mixed grill meats but that's because I lack reading comprehension and thought the main dish (I don't know what it's called, it's just the 1st entree listed) was a baked meat pie situation, it was more grilled steak on a bed of mash potatoes but these mash potatoes were savory like gravy. I wish I got my friend's dish. The mixed grilled meats were a lot closer to doners or skewer meat. Different cuts but also different flavors. What they had in common was a sort of spice-forward sizzling taste. My friend got two appetizers (which I also don't know the name of) but were definitely the most beautifully presented foods I've had in a long while. They were both creams but one had a pepper in it (not the spicy kind). The pepper one was a light refreshing sourness and the other was a heavier but not heeeeavy savory one. Both great to dip your bread in. I wanted to try the lemon cookie for dessert but my friend got us all Tres Leches by accident. That was great but I would say the most non-novel out of everything we got. Delicious, just not something out of the norm-- which is what I go for when I'm trying a new cuisine like Albanian. I wouldn't say this is normal day-to-day Albanian (I have a few friends), it's more like the Americana equivalent, an upscale where Albanians go out to eat.

It was a little hard to hear and converse at times as it gets crowded, but the food was delicious and there are really unique items on the menu. Food: The duck shawarma was one of our favorites! The lamb and scallops were also flavorful and tender. The dips were delicious with the pita, but I wish the serving size for the dips were bigger. The fries were great - well seasoned! Also recommend the milky pudding, it was a nice refreshing way to end the dinner. Service: Our server was super helpful in letting us know what items are more shareable and his suggestions for cocktails. Definitely try some of the arak based cocktails. There were 7 of us The seating was cozy but not cramped. We started with 7 family style small dishes: Hummus with Falafel Pops (chickpea purée, tahini, falafel, olive oil), Spring Burrata (roasted cherry tomatoes, toast, basil oil), Hamachi Crudo (passionfruit vinaigrette, citrus zest, cucumber, mint, sesame tuile), Scallops (carrot puree, serrano pepper, brown butter sauce), Tenderloin Skewer (zaatar chimichurri, fresh herb salad), and Shiitake Stuffed Grape Leaves (tomato coulis, yogurt foam, herbs). Everything was delicious. The hummus was well seasoned the falafel had a nice crunch. It went well with the warm puffy gyro bread that came to the table. The burrata was wasm and creamy. I love the vinaigrette on the fish. I ended up eating most of it. The scallops were the sweetest, most tender ones I have ever had. The tenderloin skewers were tender and well seasoned. I liked the grape leaves but the rice consistency was very soft almost mushy and you can barely tell there were mushrooms. There was barely any mushrooms flavor. Next we all chose an entree. I got the duck breast, my husband and daughter each had the beef tenderloin. The duck breast was smaller than i expected. The skin was nicely seared and very crispy but boy did it give my jaw a workout. It was done medium rare. It was juicy but tough. The small beef tenderloin was tender and smoky. The waiter poured the sauce over the tenderloin for added flavor. Finally dessert was a fruit plate with ice cream and pudding. The fruit was fresh and the flavors of the ice cream and pudding unique. It was a nice end to a good brunch. The price was a little expensive at $85 a person.
