We stopped by for dinner on a Monday night and the two of us were able to get a table immediately. We sat inside one of the cute honeycomb booths. The inside is pretty spacious and has smaller booths and bigger tables for groups. We each got a ramen, one boba, one yakitori platter, and one honeycomb app platter. Everything was delicious and there was plenty leftover for leftovers for the next day. All that work tax and tip came out of $102.04 which is a little pricey but reasonable for the quality of what we got I thought.

Very flavorful, well seasoned, and lots of fun options without being overwhelmed by a huge menu. Loved the combo option with the ramen and a bun. Staff was super kind and attentive despite being hella busy. Looking forward to coming back soon-- the milk tea was a hit for everyone.

I would give three stars but joni helped with the fourth! He was smiling the whole time he helped me, which made me feel very welcomed. He helped me pick the spicy tonkotsu ramen, which was good but a little too spicy for me. Sadly after waiting half an hour for my ramen my noodles seemed a bit soggy for my liking, not to mention the cluster of uncooked noodle and a missing egg (which Joni promptly brought to me when I mentioned it). I also ordered two skewers (gyu harami and butabara) but the first time they came out dry and tough so I had to have them remake it. The second time was much better. Besides joni, I had to flag servers down each time I needed a water refill.. maybe because it was busy so I should give them grace. At the end though it was very nice of them to give me a free dessert after my troubles, but ultimately Joni helped my experience the most here!! Go joni :)

Kyuramen is a chic, fun ramen place in the heart of East Liberty. The vibe and decor are on point, and truly it's a place to visit and see. They have the coolest honeycomb seating that make you feel as if you were transported to Japan. The waiter was super helpful in helping us decide what to eat because I was not familiar with ramen before. My husband got the octopus balls, which I was very hesitant to try. Overall, they were very good, and I would eat them again. I was worried about the texture but they were soft and not chewy. I tried the bao bun. The bun was soft but lacked flavor due to having no sauce. I enjoyed my main mea the most. I had the curry ramen with diced chatsu, which was VERY flavorful and the perfect amount of spice. My husband got a spicier beef ramen, and I preferred the one that I got. The milk tea that I got to accompany my meal was the perfect sweetness, and I enjoyed the tapioca pearls in it as well! This place is such a gem and a fun and approachable way to try Japanese cuisine in a new way!

I love ramen, so I'm always looking for new spots to try, and Kyuramen was the perfect place to catch up with a friend. We were seated in a table in one of the cubbies. I highly recommend asking for that because it is semi-private and really allows you to relax. The seating arrangements, decorations, and lighting create a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. I got bubble tea and ramen. The ramen was excellent, with flavorful broth and generous portions of the toppings. The egg was perfectly cooked and the pork was tender. Overall, this is a great place to catch up with a friend or take a date.

One of our favorite spots just got an upgrade! They are now open until 2am I believe every night (double check on their social media). Stopped in for a late night ramen craving around midnight and was immediately seated. If you stop in after 10pm, you can order from their new Izakaya menu! Izakaya refers to late night quick Japanese dishes, often small, to share over drinks or in this case... other food! We tried a couple skewers and loved them all. We loved the beef and pork belly the most. The takoyaki is always so good here and opted for my usual spicy ramen! Check it out for any late night food craving!

This was by far the best ramen I've had in Pittsburgh! The honeycomb platter was great, nice to have a little of everything. My ramen was amazing. So much flavor, so fresh tasting, I finished every last drop! I also got the brown sugar milk tea boba & one of the best ones I've had in Pittsburgh as well! The service was great, and the place was sooo cool. Loved the honeycomb shaped seating! I will DEFINITELY be returning, SOON!!

Such a cute design, I sat in one of the honey comb booths and really enjoyed the view. The squid was some of the best fried Iv'e had. The batter balanced the meaty squid. The gyoza were drenched in chili and it brought out the spice. The ramen was boring, but tasted amazing the next day.

I got the #9 Chicken Ramen, which was good but a little smaller than what I expected (4/5). The service was a little slow (3/5), but the interior of the restaurant is nice and unique; the honeycomb seating is pretty cool (4.5/5).

Wow. What a complete drop off from the first time going here. Not sure what changed but had a completely different experience in the second time coming here. Food wise: shrimp tempura was the best thing and it was slight better than average. Don't get the crispy chili wings. Nothing spicy about them and a soy sauce sweet flavor not like what you traditionally get. Not crispy or heavily breaded or battered either. Service wise: Went on a Thursday evening, maybe one of 6 couples in there and it felt like we were being pushed out. Asked four times if the span of 10 minutes if we were ready to order when after the first time they said there's a button to push when ready. Multiple servers came by asking the same questions. Once we were finished and we paid it was like we didn't matter. Asked for a box twice and it finally came after 10 minutes of sitting there. Just odd. Had high hopes after a good first visit, not sure what changed but don't feel the need to co,e back a third time.

This is a solid spot in East Liberty for ramen! Parking is convenient (free for 1 hour in the garage) and they're baby friendly with plenty of high chairs. I got the weekday lunch special recently which included an appetizer and drink for basically the price of a bowl of ramen (it might've been a bit more but still very affordable). I ordered a garlic ramen with takoyaki and amazing lemonade. The ramen was satisfying without being overly salty/fatty, and I have no complaints! The app and drink were a welcome addition to the meal, but I wouldn't feel like I missed out if I came at dinner and skipped those two items.

Ramen from Kyuramen is now my top three Ramen's in Pittsburgh. I got one of the only two that aren't made with pork. They're quick, delish, and I added chili oil because I like spice. I do not like eggs in my ramen though so I gave it to Patrick after the picture. I however, love all the veggies. And the fact that this ramen, an appetizer and a drink was $20. There's a button at your table to get the staff's attention or to pay the bill. Love the honeycomb seating.

The design of the restaurant is so cute and beautiful. The food is very good and filling, and there are many options for food and drink. The service is nice and the people are respectful. Also a great location.

Our server was attentive throughout the meal and provided genuinely outstanding service. The restaurant was very clean, with a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. Our food arrived incredibly quickly, within about five minutes, and everything was delicious. We ordered the spicy California roll, cold sesame noodle salad, crab rangoon, and tofu yaki udon. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The sushi was especially delicious, and in my humble opinion, better than any other sushi restaurant on the north side of Pittsburgh. We'll absolutely be back!!

This restaurant is located right on McKnight Road somewhat near the intersection with Siebert. The inside is fairly large with seating in an L-shaped configuration around the kitchen. We were seated near the back on one side where the lighting was styled like lanterns and there was also a fun mural on the wall in an almost manga style. For dinner on this evening I decided to go with the Golden Katsu Curry Ramen while my wife went with the tonkotsu ramen and my kids split a happy cat noodles. My ramen was described as served with house-made curry broth simmered with tender potato and carrot chunks, wavy noodles and topped with a crispy cutlet, half marinated egg, sweet corn and scallions. My wife's was described as pork broth with thin noodles, pork belly chashu, nori, bamboo shoots, fish cake, kikurage mushroom, half marinated egg, sweet corn and scallions. My kids' meal was described as chicken nuggets, soy sauce-based plain noodles, assorted vegetables, half marinated egg and one piece of mochi ice cream. They first brought out the wrong item for my kids but once we mentioned it they quickly corrected it and brought out the right dish. My curry ended up being really good. The chicken cutlet was crispy, the noodles were bouncy and I enjoyed the sweetness from the corn. The star of the show for me though was the Japanese curry which had a rich flavor with warm and inviting spices. My wife loved her ramen as well and we were all impressed with the quality of the kids' meal, especially the chicken and the flavor of the noodles. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Everyone in my family enjoyed their food and we appreciated that it felt both fun and family friendly.
