Came around opening time on a Monday. I ordered the pork katsu meal. For the price the portions are humongous. I ate maybe 1/4 of the katsu and was completely stuffed and had lots of leftovers. Flavor-wise this place was just ok. I've definitely had better katsu. The meat was kind of thin and it was pretty bland. I didn't really like the sauce that it came with either. One thing I noticed was the breading kept falling off of the meat--definitely not normal for katsu. Overall, food was just ok. Maybe I came on an off day. read more

Errands after errands we did passed by hmart and ended up checking out there food hall. This place was honestly one of the best places I've had curry katsu. I had to request separating the sauce since my mom was with me.. and man she even mentioned the katsu was crispy and seasoned well.. also! this was just one order and just be aware of there portions which is great for its price. read more

After walking around the food court area in H Mart we decided on this place for lunch. KZ Mori specializes in curry and katsu. They offer a variety of different types of katsu including pork, chicken, fish, cheese and tofu. Their menu is pretty simple. You can make any of them a combo if you like. But if you want something different then they also have curry udon as well. We shared their curry pork katsu. Our pork was perfectly fried and the meat was moist and delicious. The curry was a little on the bland side but I still enjoyed it. A portion was very generous. It also came with some pickled radish, pickled ginger, a cabbage salad, rice, and some miso soup. Pricing was very affordable and we were very satisfied. Like mentioned, it is located inside Hmart but worth going just for this. We even saw lots of Hmart workers getting their lunch here as well. This spot is located inside the new Hmart! The food court is big and has a ton of other options as well in case you wanna come with a group and they are in the mood for something else. There's a good amount of tables and chairs food court style. We ordered at the counter and they provide me a buzzer. Even though it was their grand opening weekend, we were able to get a table quickly. The portion is HUGE!! I ordered the curry udon combo and my bf got the mixed combo. The Katsu was so crispy and the curry udon had a nice kick to it. I'm so excited about this new food court! read more

Super delicious! Had the chicken curry. Katsu was delicate, moist and flavorful. Sauces and curry were spot on. Sesame salad dressing was delicious and ginger teriyaki sauce on rice made the rice alone worth it. I would definitely go back. Service was quick and friendly and place seemed clean. Inside H Mart is the food court. Go in and find KZ Mori towards the left rear of the eating place. Our first time here and we knew the foods would be Asian influence. So we know "Katsu" is like a Hawaiian or Japanese breaded protein on top of a scoop of white rice. I ordered a pork and a chicken small Katsu Bowl. A little beeper would let me know when ready...it was taking a long time. Finally got our two bowls bagged with utensils and a small container of the sauce. Tried the pork and first impression was .. thin cut and ok breading, but not savory.... sauce should probably be Teri like. Tried the chicken.. hmm it is moist and better flavor although the breading is the same... rice was plenty and dry so use the sauce on the rice. It was our first time here and we got the curry chicken. My boyfriend and I both shared this dish and it is more than enough. It comes with side of rice, miso soup, salad and the curry. Every sauce was so good! Highly recommend trying this place out. Everything was so good and the chicken was so juicy and perfect. So flavorful and very good quality. The service was really good. We just had our mandatory Hmart food court date this weekend and tried out KZ Mori. For $19 we got the Mix Katsu Combo with Curry served on the side. The tray came with miso soup, cabbage salad and katsu sauce! Pickled radishes were at the counter for self service as well! We were there late afternoon so the wait for food was quick, about 10 minutes before our order was done. Portions are huge, we ended up sharing the entree between the two of us! Light batter on the katsu slices, with such a good crunch to each bite! The chicken tasted a tad juicier than the pork but overall each bite was a great compliment to the curry! Review # 16 for 2025. Decided to try this place after shopping at H Mart. This eatery is located inside H Mart in the food court area towards the back. I ordered the regular portion of curry pork katsu and and a side order of the cheese katsu as well. My total was about $25. I ordered my meal to-go as I figured I would not finish the entire meal. There are plenty of tables to sit it. They give you a buzzer and you pick up your meal when it is ready. Very casual vibes and good service. My meal was delicious!!! The portion was a very good size!! My curry pork katsu meal came with 2 pieces of pork katsu, a side of rice, a side salad of cabbage, the curry, and a side soup. It was way more than I could finish in one sitting. I would have to say though, that I am definitely a rice person, so the one thing I would change is ask if I can have double rice instead of the salad as I'm not much of a salad person... or add an order of rice. I would say though, that the salad really does balance out the meal. The pork katsu was crispy and tender. The curry was delicious!! It most definitely had a kick to it. The side of broth was also nice to have with the meal. The cheese katsu was also delicious. How can anyone not love melted cheese lol! I would say that my meal was worth what I paid. Food and service was really good. I got the tofu katsu and my son got a side of cheese katsu. The breading was fantastic, as was the katsu sauce. The portion of katsu was huge. The only thing I might soggiest is that the tofu be a little bit thinner as it was a little on the softer side. I feel like if it was thinner, it would accent the breading better. Located in HMart food court. We ordered the Pork Katsu. Customer service was 5/5. The taste of everything was fine/average but at that price point, compared to local sit down restaurants that serve katsu at a lower price before tip, I do not think it is worth it. If you're just looking for a quick bite to eat and have to make a quick decision, this would be a solid choice as it does offer generous portions. However, I can't see myself craving this place and wanting to come back. Plenty of seating during a weekday, good luck finding a spot in weekends. read more

I'm a vegetarian now. But when I wasn't, I used to love chicken katsu. Well this place has tofu katsu. I gave their tofu with curry katsu a try and I'm very glad I did. It comes with miso soup and it's very delicious. The curry is perfectly spicy. The tofu katsu is nice and crispy. They give you a huge mound of shredded cabbage and the dressing is perfect. 5 out of 5. read more

I came back to this place because my first experience was very good. This time they were two employees at the front of the restaurant and when I asked questions they spoke in Spanish to each other instead of answering my question. They told me I didn't know what I was talking about. The woman told the man working there just give her whatever. They didn't know that I understand Spanish. While I was waiting she killed a fly on the wall with her hand and never washed her hands. The man was the one that was handling my food thank God! I don't think I'll be coming back dies to customer service or lack there of and that the employee aren't hygienic apparently. It cost nothing to be a nice person. This is my second time around, we came back a few weeks later in the evening. Ordered the small portion for 12.99 and it didn't come with rice or curry or soup. So this wasn't a good deal, I'd stick to the regular portion size for $17.99 next time since it comes with everything. Chicken katsu lacked salt or any flavor. This is in the new H-mart! I brought the Udon (Chicken) Katsu Combo and their portion is surprisingly big. I am usually not a fan of Katsu but I was so surprised by how much I like it! Crispy texture, balanced source, and combination of menu etc. The sauce for the Katsu was sooo delicious. The Udon broth is really good and warm. Menu is not large, most of the items are katsu. I got the fried chicken katsu with the curry udon and it was pretty good! I could only eat half since the portions were so big! It's a bit salty but the fried chicken is definitely well fried and it isn't mostly bread if you know what I mean. I think it's best to share with two people. I love the food court vibes and dang it gets pretty crowded there fast. I love that h mart has just opened here I feel like the parking lot is way busier now. read more

We did leave still a bit hungry. I will say though- the apps and the post-nigiri dishes made the experience fun and a bit unpredictable which is what I love about omakase. I want to mention too that our server's attention to detail and his guidance through the courses was very much appreciated! A+ on hospitality.
