This spot is located inside the new Hmart! The food court is big and has a ton of other options as well in case you wanna come with a group and they are in the mood for something else. There's a good amount of tables and chairs food court style. We ordered at the counter and they provide me a buzzer. Even though it was their grand opening weekend, we were able to get a table quickly. The portion is HUGE!! I ordered the curry udon combo and my bf got the mixed combo. The Katsu was so crispy and the curry udon had a nice kick to it. I'm so excited about this new food court!

Huge portions.... was so much food I had to share with my gf- forgot to include the miso soup in my picture Don't judge a book by its cover truly, I initially came in with a low bar Surprisingly the curry was super delicious and flavorful The chicken too was soo moist and super tender probably the best chicken katsu I've ever had

Super delicious! Had the chicken curry. Katsu was delicate, moist and flavorful. Sauces and curry were spot on. Sesame salad dressing was delicious and ginger teriyaki sauce on rice made the rice alone worth it. I would definitely go back. Service was quick and friendly and place seemed clean. It is in the food court for H mart. Tasty!!!

Inside H Mart is the food court. Go in and find KZ Mori towards the left rear of the eating place. Our first time here and we knew the foods would be Asian influence. So we know "Katsu" is like a Hawaiian or Japanese breaded protein on top of a scoop of white rice. I ordered a pork and a chicken small Katsu Bowl. A little beeper would let me know when ready...it was taking a long time. Finally got our two bowls bagged with utensils and a small container of the sauce. Tried the pork and first impression was .. thin cut and ok breading, but not savory.... sauce should probably be Teri like. Tried the chicken.. hmm it is moist and better flavor although the breading is the same... rice was plenty and dry so use the sauce on the rice. We don't know if we should have picked Korean or even a sandwich or a Bobba or a hot dog... we just knew Katzu and KZ Mori did not really impress.

delicious!! the worker in the front is always really kind. curry chicken (5/5) - my go to! the portion sizes are so good for the price. the curry is thick and has a slight kick to it, which i enjoy. the plates are loaded with rice and cabbage. fish curry (5/5) - my boyfriends favorite! he loves the fish, it's always fried well. everything is so yummy for the price and portion. definitely try it if you're in the food court!

It was our first time here and we got the curry chicken. My boyfriend and I both shared this dish and it is more than enough. It comes with side of rice, miso soup, salad and the curry. Every sauce was so good! Highly recommend trying this place out. Everything was so good and the chicken was so juicy and perfect. So flavorful and very good quality. The service was really good. We went on a Thursday for lunch. Plenty of seating since it's a food court. I love the environment. I love that you can go shopping and then eat a yummy meal and dessert if you want!

We just had our mandatory Hmart food court date this weekend and tried out KZ Mori. For $19 we got the Mix Katsu Combo with Curry served on the side. The tray came with miso soup, cabbage salad and katsu sauce! Pickled radishes were at the counter for self service as well! We were there late afternoon so the wait for food was quick, about 10 minutes before our order was done. Portions are huge, we ended up sharing the entree between the two of us! Light batter on the katsu slices, with such a good crunch to each bite! The chicken tasted a tad juicier than the pork but overall each bite was a great compliment to the curry! Definitely a great stop for a good deal and a great lunch!

Inside the huge HMart food court. Got the fish katsu. Perfectly seasoned and fried. Crispy outside and moist inside. All sauces goes well with the fish. It also came with salad and miso soup. A healthy choice. The staff is friendly. A casual setting with lots of table. Huge parking.

Errands after errands we did passed by hmart and ended up checking out there food hall. This place was honestly one of the best places I've had curry katsu. I had to request separating the sauce since my mom was with me.. and man she even mentioned the katsu was crispy and seasoned well.. also! this was just one order and just be aware of there portions which is great for its price.

Food and service was really good. I got the tofu katsu and my son got a side of cheese katsu. The breading was fantastic, as was the katsu sauce. The portion of katsu was huge. The only thing I might soggiest is that the tofu be a little bit thinner as it was a little on the softer side. I feel like if it was thinner, it would accent the breading better. Definitely heading back to this place.

Located in HMart food court. We ordered the Pork Katsu. Customer service was 5/5. The taste of everything was fine/average but at that price point, compared to local sit down restaurants that serve katsu at a lower price before tip, I do not think it is worth it. If you're just looking for a quick bite to eat and have to make a quick decision, this would be a solid choice as it does offer generous portions. However, I can't see myself craving this place and wanting to come back. Plenty of seating during a weekday, good luck finding a spot in weekends.

Ordered the chicken katsu curry and really enjoyed it. The katsu was crispy without being oily and I also like that it came with cabbage miso soup and rice. It is a big portion so it was worth the price. The worker was also very friendly and food came out fairly fast

Baranzino: tender fish served with a savory broth. Delicious and pretty healthy. I would come back for this for sure. I did wish it came with something else outside of the fish for the price but still delicious none the less. 9/10 Yuzu ceasar: nice rendition on a Ceasar and the yuzu definitely came through and the lettuce was nice and crunchy. Great start to the meal. 9.2/10 Garlic parm fries: delicious, crunchy, hot. I think it could have been even more garlicky but that is my preference. 8.5/10 Arancini: solid take on fried arancini but I didn't really get the kimchi flavors. Still tasty and would order again but maybe it could dial those flavors up. 8.5/10 Miso bacon carbarnara: definitely one of the highlights of the meal. Everyone was scooping up every bit of sauce on this one. 9.5/10 Pork belly: the pork was flavorful and tender but the mashed potatoes under it was the real hero. 8.7/10 Pork jowl: this might have been my favorite thing along with the carbanara. The problem was extremely tender and yet still had some give. The accompanying sauce gave it a salty kick and wrapping it in lettuce really gave it that korean essence. 9.5/10 Overall, this place delivered on great food and would come back anyway for a fancy meal. Also shoutout to our server who dealt with the entire restaurant alone and didn't miss a beat.

Our waitress was always there when we needed her and would check up on us consistently! The place is very spacious, music was lively, and overall great atmosphere. Bathrooms were clean and it had a mouth wash dispenser including the cup As for food and drinks, everything was so delicious! Yuzu Lemonade was very refreshing and was a nice mix of the flavors. The yuzu and lemonade didn't overpower each other, and a nice touch of the mint leaf! Kei Coconut Ube had a nice taste to it. The sweetness was nice, super purple in color, and worth trying at least once. Drink definitely does not look or taste like a beer so think of it as a sparkling Ube drink when you try it. Beef Tongue appetizer was very tasty and the appearance was pretty. The sauce was very delicious with a hint of citrus. Beef Bowl Udon was delicious as well. The udon noodles are in the middle of the thickness level. Broth was nice and refreshing, and the beef belly was super soft and tasted amazing. Seafood Tom Kha Ramen was really good. Seafood in it were shrimps, scallops, and squid/calamari. Not too spicy, but had a nice kick to it. Veggies were nice and mixed well with the seafood ramen! Unfortunately, the eggs do not come with the udon or ramen, but they do have free unlimited ramen noodles!!! They let you get it for the udon broths as well! Would definitely come back to this place when I'm back in this part of town!

It's not because everything I ordered…read morewas the best, but it's because everything I ordered was either above average or podiums on my list. I think the price was also reasonable, which is all one could ask for when dining out. Chicken Teriyaki: I really enjoyed this, because I rarely go to Japanese restaurants that serve chicken teriyaki outside of a side dish in ACYE. The chicken is juicy, the teriyaki sauce is just the right hit. Not too salty, a hint of sweet, and the dish overall is generally light. A great complement to the rolls, yakitori, ramen, or whatever. Kyushu Ramen: I will admit that this ramen will fall on the pile of "generic ramens that non-specialty stores sell". However, there is nothing wrong with ordinary, if ordinary means that a restaurant is proud to serve something at a respectable price with a solid taste. Beef Tongue: It's no secret that beef tongue is good. The problem is finding an establishment that can cook it well. Kappo Honda does it well, and they offer a very good diving board to those who want to try it for the first time. Bay Scallop with Pork: I like it when I see an item on the menu that has a few words, and I taste all the flavors that the words communicated. You get the taste of pork the first second, then the burst of scallop on the first or second chew. A nicely designed stick overall. Service: Nothing special. They ask what you want, they give you what you want, you pay, and leave. I would say it'll take you a second to take the menu in, so try to see if the staff could help you out with options. Ambiance: It's a sizable place, but it feels small because of all the seats packed in. I enjoyed it because it gives a very Japanese vibe. The inside of the restaurant is full of autographs of famous people who dined at some point, very Japanese.

Either way, this place definitely deserves one. Kappo Honda is one of our go-to Japanese restaurants. My daughter loves the sushi, while my son always goes for the pork cheek skewers. Me? I pretty much love everything here, but the saba is usually my order. Wifey loves the tuna sashimi with a beer. Lol. The place has a cozy, casual feel, and one of the coolest things is all the autographs from famous Japanese baseball players hanging on the walls. Take a look when you're there--you might recognize someone! Another big plus: they stay open late, which is perfect when you're craving Japanese food later in the evening.
