I am a relatively new client at this location and I have nothing but good things to say about the condition of the facility but more importantly, the staff. Those young girls are very good at what they do there. They have been well trained and versed on the equipment and can answer any questions and inform me on products, differences of the beds, etc. It is nice to step in the door and see their smiling faces. I love this LA Tan location- I've been coming here since I was a sophomore in high school and don't plan on stopping anytime soon. I'm always greeted with a smile when I come in and have never waited too long for a tan. On July 22, 2022 there was a young lady there who was so rude! 1st of all the last time I seen her she gave me the wrong spray tan didn't mention it not a big deal. When I walked in today I said I wanted bad 6 but not room one I wanted the bed 6 and back she said room 1 add room 1 is available I said can't I use the 11 in back no room 1 is available and she stared at me as if She was telling me what I was going to do whether I like it or not. I asked can I wait for room 6 She stated there's 3 more minutes to more minutes to go as she said that the lady was walking out of the other level 6 tanning room You never offered me to sit and wait nothing she was so Stern with this smerk on her face. She didn't give me an option of how to pay she just automatically put it on my card on file that is not what I wanted to happen this happened but before that I wanted to make sure she charged me only $5 seeing that I'm in the club the club she snapped at me because I mentioned that she snapped at me and said let me do my job. Then she says I don't have to take this from you I was speechless. I do not know why she did not want me to go into that other level 6 bad but she made it clear I was going in level one. Other thing is she never asked me how I wanted to pay, She was fighting me the entire time! When I asked her why did she take it out of my Card on file she actually said this is her money I go what this isn't your money this is my money!!!!! I'm definitely never going in Tanning Salon again only to cancel my membership. The biggest shame is since I've been going there for 15 years on and off so that was the only tanning bed add LA 10 in Western Springs that I went to I until I did go to the one end and Payless in that place was horrific and I told Stephanie and what a great job she does running this Western Springs tanning salon always clean always professional always fun when you go in I will never have another Sunday with this woman again this woman again the rudeness is actually taken away all their kindness if she wasn't there on Sunday I would still go she's by herself and untamable It's true one bad Apple does spoil the whole bunch those other girls there are amazing they're friendly they're kind they're funny they're personable they're everything she's not! every Don't get me wrong the other girls get 5 stars 100% all the time everyday but that girl was that bad I'm never going to tolerate that again Sunday it's a 1 star because of this 1 woman she was that bad I don't normally write reviews but this I felt I had to.!! read more

By far this store has the best staff. Reading the positive reviews they're all true! Beautiful facility, big, enough room to get dressed and undressed without feeling claustrophobic and in a tight squeeze. Each room is stocked with wipes and towels. I walked in today like a lobster and they were all very knowledgeable as to why I was the way I was! Ha! You can't use tingle lotion if on Birth Control! Yikes! Just some info for you ladies if on Birth Control! The girls were absolute sweethearts and this one is definitely going to be my home tanning salon for sure! read more

These girls really need to be trained. They don't seem to know how to input basic information such as your paid membership or a birthday. It's really annoying to be asked for an id because the info in the computer says I'm 5 years old and that I didn't pay for such and such services. Please train these girls and get it together. read more

I just moved to the area and needed to get a little color before doing the Polar Plunge so I stopped into LA Tan. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! Super clean, beautiful decorated and a super friendly staff. On my first night Jessica helped me and was simply fabulous. She explained how the tanning bed worked with all its bells and whistles. I was in a level 4 lay down bed and I got a great color. I am so happy to have tried out LA Tan and will be back again and again. I have already told my friends & family if they are looking for a good tanning spa, this is the place to go to. read more

I am a longtime L.A. Tan member and customer, but was extremely disappointed with the customer service and the terrible color from this location's VersaPro. I have a spray tan package purchased from L.A. Tan and still was up-charged for wanting the "medium" color; this particular location told me the package I had purchased only included the "light" color but other L.A. Tan's have told me my package includes light and medium, so I'm not even sure what I paid for in the first place. I've been spray tanning for 15 years and know exactly what color I am meant to get and when I came out of the VersaPro at this location, I looked dirty and almost green; my legs meanwhile were still completely white. The machine had obviously not been cleaned and was spraying completely uneven color, and when I noted my unhappiness with the girl at the counter with bright purple hair, she told me it was probably because my face is dry. Instead of offering a $5 credit or even a free regular tan in a bed, she insulted me. Not impressed by the level of service and uncleanliness of this location and won't go back. Love my L.A. Tan on Ogden Ave. in Downer's Grove and will only go there from now on as they've always given great service, but regardless staff across all locations need to be clear about what is included in a package when people purchase it so they aren't up-charged every time they come in to use something they think they've already paid for. read more
