While patiently waiting, I asked for a nail clipper and acetone so I could attempt to remove my own Gel-X set to help speed up the process once a nail technician became available. A technician was initially assigned to my pedicure, but she appeared irritated about having to perform the service, so I requested to wait for another technician. I don't believe in paying for a service from someone who seems upset about providing it. The manager on duty offered to do my Gel-X nails while another technician completed my pedicure. My nail service didn't begin until after 7:20 p.m. During the application, I noticed my left pinky and middle finger Gel-X tips were applied crooked. Since my natural nails are long and healthy, this can affect how they grow. On top of that, the Gel-X tip on my right thumb was too small for my nail, leaving part of my natural nail squeezed because the tip was too narrow. When I brought these issues to the manager's attention, he simply suggested I come back on Monday for a free correction. While I appreciate the offer, after waiting over two hours and paying for the service, I shouldn't have to make another trip to fix mistakes that shouldn't have been made. The Gel-X application is the foundation of the entire set and can make or break the final result. The long wait and poor nail application made this one of the worst experiences I've had here. I've included photos so others can judge the quality of the work for themselves. I hope management takes this review seriously because I genuinely expected much better from a salon I've supported as a repeat customer.

Also charged $20 extra for "gel polish" on our pedicures and they did not use gel polish. It was just shellack which is not as long lasting and inferior. We love the little steam room and whirlpool before our nail services, which is the reason we chose to come here. But quality for price paid is lacking. Pedicures were fantastic despite not having gel polish. But the dip nail manicure was a big regret since the tips tore and broke off. I've had press ons that last longer.
