I like to use the same people but work hard hours and come last minute so I often get whomever is available and yet still I get good service and quality work for Nextgen nails and more. Yesterday was my 1st time so I called in advance informing that my nail beds are really thin so asked if they could pair me with a tech who can be gentle and not file down too much. The man said "no worries, we'll take care of you." I was unfortunately matched with Lisa. She was so rough even after explaining about my nail beds. She also used her nails to aggressively push my cuticle lining back which was so painful. She was very irritated every time I said "ouch" and kept making comments under her breath. Every time I tried asking a question about the shape, she would talk over me saying "wait for finish, wait for finish". I honestly really thought of asking her to completely stop. I also requested natural looking, short and not thick, and this is what I ended up with! Chiclets. A friend who goes here recommended that I call and ask for Lily to explain the issue. I called in the morning and left my number for a callback, but no one called me back. Now I have to go elsewhere to fix my nails and spend more money. Michelle who did my pedicure was great. She listened to me and even corrected the application on 2 toes when I pointed out some issues. Tipped her and was pleased. But even with Michelle being great, Lisa & the results I got, made it a horrible experience.

1 Star I had a very disappointing experience at this salon…read more I came in with a very specific inspiration photo/video for fall-colored cat-eye nails. I showed the nail technician the pictures before we started, and he said he understood what I wanted. Before he started, I asked about the pricing because I knew each nail would have a different color. I was told it would be $15 for the entire set, so I agreed. I also explained the shape I wanted and specifically asked him to make sure the nails were not crooked. While I was explaining what I wanted, his attitude seemed visibly annoyed, and he told me to have patience because he knew what he was doing. At one point, I pointed out one of the nails and asked if it looked okay. He laughed and asked if it was good enough for me, and I said yes. When he started applying the colors, I noticed they weren't really matching the inspiration pictures I had shown him. I showed him the picture again, and instead of correcting the colors, he told me that he knew what he was doing. I was then told that adding more colors would cost an additional $25 I let him know that in the beginning he let me know it would be 15 he's reply was well now it's 25 more I Said no thank you it's fine . Once he finished, I honestly hated the result. The nail technician laughed at my nails and asked if I liked them. I said they were fine because, at that moment, I thought I could just live with them for the next couple of weeks. I paid $110 and left. After sitting in my car and thinking about it, I realized I really wasn't okay with the nails because they looked nothing like the inspiration I had shown. I went back inside and politely explained to the woman at the front that I was sorry, but I really didn't like the set and asked if they could remove it and put one solid color on instead. I was told that would be $50. I asked if that meant $50 for removing the existing color AND applying one solid color, and she said yes. She then mentioned that she was already giving me a $20 discount. At that point, I was confused because I had literally just paid $110 for a set that did not turn out anything like what I requested. I would potentially be spending another $50-$70 on top of that just to fix the service. I explained that I didn't think that was reasonable and that I didn't feel I should have to pay that much more to correct a set that didn't resemble what I had originally shown the technician. Her response was essentially to let her know whenever I was ready. There was no offer to redo the nails, no meaningful attempt to resolve the issue, and no refund!!!. I ultimately left because I felt completely dissatisfied with both the service and the way the situation was handled. The biggest issue for me wasn't even just the nails--it was the customer service. I clearly communicated what I wanted, showed multiple reference pictures, asked questions about the pricing, and still left feeling like my concerns were an inconvenience. I paid $110 for a service I wasn't happy with and was then expected to pay even more to have it changed ($70-$50). Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not return to this salon or recommend it to others they take advantage of you and your money.

They went above and beyond on my classes which were neglected during my last pedicure in AZ before I moved, so I very much appreciated it. Overall this nail salon is amazing and has so many colors to choose from. I heard another employee telling someone getting a service that this salon just opened up a few weeks ago but by the time I was leaving the chairs were filling up!
