In March 2023, I brought my Lexus RX 350 to this shop for a transmission fluid service. The…read moretechnician noted the presence of metal shavings in the pan on the invoice, and instead of following OEM specifications and using Toyota WS-compatible fluid, the shop installed Kendall VersaTrans CVT+. I later reviewed the product specifications and contacted Kendall's own technical support team directly. Their team confirmed that while VersaTrans CVT+ may be used where Toyota WS is specified, their *recommended* product for WS applications is Kendall VersaTrans LV ATF, not CVT+. Their data sheet confirms this. When I brought this to the shop's attention, attaching official data sheets, Kendall's response email, and compatibility concerns, they refused to acknowledge any wrongdoing. Their responses were consistently short, dismissive, and unprofessional. I received multiple replies with no greeting, no name, and no attempt to address the core issue. Instead of discussing solutions (which I offered several times, including a fluid replacement or partial refund), they repeatedly deflected and eventually stopped engaging altogether. Despite the shop stating in their own records that metal shavings were present, a clear indication of wear, they opted to use a non-recommended fluid. Over the next 2.5 years, the vehicle accumulated only ~9,200 miles, but the transmission continued to degrade, likely accelerated by the mismatch in fluid. This review is not based on emotion. I've provided documentation, OEM specifications, and direct confirmation from the fluid manufacturer. The shop's refusal to admit a mistake or even engage in a basic conversation about resolution speaks volumes about their customer service standards and technical judgment. I cannot recommend this shop to anyone seeking careful, OEM-spec service or professional accountability. If something goes wrong, don't expect them to help, or even call you by name.

I was cheated there by manager Dana Parton (swindler). If I spoke well I wouldn't be cheated. Manager Dana Parton (swindler) also talked about their American financing option to me. He tries to push customers into debt using American financing. He is cheating cunningly. Think about that if you are customers... I've been driving a 2005 Chevrolet Aveo for 10 years. There were no problems with my car (140,000 miles). An oil change was required. I went to Bucky's Everett (auto repair shop) on Tuesday, October 4th. There the manager Dana patron (swindler) said my car was in danger so fixed it. The cost was $5,000. I paid for it. I got my car back on Thursday Oct. 6th. I t was broken down on the freeway in front of I 5 Everett Exit 192 on Thursday, October 13th around 4pm. I called Towing Company and took them to Bucky's Everett. It cost $320 towing fee and $230 to fix. A few days later, on Sunday, October 16th, the highway in front of I 5 exits 189 in Everett, it was broken down again. To fix the car, this time with the help of a Towing Company driver, it was towed elsewhere (in Everett), because Bucky's Everett is closed on Sundays. I don't know how this keeps happening again and again. And I don't know what to do. So far I've spent $5730 including two tow services. I didn't know how much it would cost this time. I almost had a car accident on the road. It was a dangerous situation. Since I trusted the manager Dana Patron (swindler) there, I am having a hard time and spent lots of money. I am in deep debt. I feel this good car became a junk. Another $1100 is spent to fix it now. Total 5730+1100=$6830. What would you do? Where is justice we believe? My good car below got ruined and turned into a total wreck by a manager Dana Parton (swindler) at a Bucky's Everett (auto repair shop) in Everett.

NO INTEGRITY! I paid the proprietor Jim Kirkham over $5000…read more(in full) for 2 old disassembled Chevy trucks including 2 engines(with a $1000 agreed value). He advertised this package on Facebook Marketplace but the money was processed on a credit card through his business KPro Auto making it a business transaction. He gave me a verbal ok to pick it up in a "month or two" because I'm a U.S. Navy Service Disabled Veteran and needed help from my son (who is a U.S. Army Service Disabled Veteran wounded in Syria 2023) to move it all. Jim didn't lift a finger to help at all. He mostly stood around and arrogantly made wisecracks about our automotive ignorance. After picking up the trucks and assorted parts, I had a change in plans and did not take delivery of the old original engines, one was very rusty on the inside. Jim (the owner) refused to refund me, in part I suspect because he was insulted and embarrassed that I found broken glass in his home made honey(that's when relations broke down). I paid in full for everything ahead of time and have receipts to prove it. I don't owe him a penny. No labor on his part was involved. He also gave me 2 counterfeit Bills of Sale for the trucks with fraudulent signatures of the prior owners. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! JIM IS A VERY SHADY DISHONEST CHARACTER! He still refuses to refund my $1000.

The good folks at K-Pro were able to squeeze me in quickly and put my mind at ease. They found the issue and gave me some options and assured me no safety issues. When I got back from vacation I went straight back to replace the front struts and now the car drives better than it ever did. Or at least it feels that way! Great service, talked me through the issues, reasonable prices, and people who cared about me. As a side bonus, some of the best honey around is made by the owner and sold here and a few other places in town.

The last 4 times I went there I waited in the lobby for so many hours. If I had known it would be that long I would have went home. The last time was 5 and a half hours in the lobby! I tried to go home at hour 3 and was asked to stay (telling me it would be soon.) The prices have really gone up. He wouldn't charge me to look at it so I thought I was getting a good deal but with the high pricing it made up for it. Several hundred dollars cheaper at other places when I called around. I got an oil change here and I made an appointment for it. I waited 3 and a half hours in the lobby and it cost a little over 100$. I mentioned I was feeling the transmission slipping and was told they would take a look at it. At checkout they said nothing, I asked them about it and another 20 minutes later they came back and said it was fine maybe I could get a tune up soon. I brought it in again a few weeks later still with the transmission slipping. They said they found a sensor out and a few other things. I paid a little over 1000$ two separate times within 3 months. Each time I asked is it worth it, to fix it? What about the transmission? I got round about answers and was told fixing it was a good option. Now after putting almost 4000$ into it within a year my transmission needs to be replaced and I can't afford to fix it or get another vehicle! I don't have words for how I feel about that. I really trusted Adrian and so I trusted his crew and I feel like they really let me down and put me in a bad spot. I'm a single mom and I needed the honesty and care I had gotten from Adrian at the beginning but I guess things change.
