They make fresh tortillas for all the meals. Tried the cecina tacos that were delicious. The best tacos in the area forsure.

Excellent authentic fresh Mexican food. Had the basics, cheese enchilada with half and half red and…read moregreen sauce, and chicken taquitos. Both were exceptional. The enchiladas because the sauce was almost sweet with what I could tell were the best ripest freshest chilies available and the taquitos because of the clean fresh finely chopped iceberg lettuce, dried crumbly sweet cheese on top, like instead of overwhelming gelatinous greasy globs of Jack or whatever, and the charred ends of chicken they let hang out during deep frying. It's not inexpensive but at least you're paying for quality and the freshest ingredients around. There are servers in the dining room that will bring you ice water and sauces and otherwise take care of you, but because we didn't get drinks from the market cashier like we were supposed to or not, thankfully we brought cash to leave a tip on the table for the server because there was no receipt for the ice water or sauces we got from her to otherwise prompt a tip. I saw guys getting beers from the market refrigerators to go with their food, but I'm still not sure how it works to order other drinks, like a soda with ice. UPDATE - went back for early Sunday breakfast. My two tacos were good, but their breakfast burrito blew my socks off. Hub got the one with bacon and it's huge. I had room, so I finished it and can't wait to go back and get my own. The salsa and like red enchilada sauce brought to the table were good, but not needed as it seemed they added flavor ahead of time with some clear not heavy salsa or something. I hate breakfast burritos because of the soft squishy tasteless parts inside a hard tasteless tortilla, but this wasn't like that. Tortilla was soft and fresh and the inside was full of flavor even though it was just eggs and cheese by the time I got it. Hub had taken out all the bacon because it was how he likes it, not burnt, which is how I like it. When I get mine, I'll ask for the bacon on the side and deep fried, so it's dry and crisp :)

I love Mexican food and tacos might be my favorite. I love it here. The meat is delicious, tortillas are solid, and the salsa is wonderful! My go to is the chicken and pastor. Chicken tacos are usually never my favorite, but the chicken here is high quality, juicy, and perfectly seasoned! The albondigas is also delicious! They are very nice and service is top notch! Very cute inside. One of my go to taco spots for sure!

Enjoyed the creamy salsa on it as well as the cabbage and pico de gallo adding a nice crunch and freshness to it. The quesabirria tacos had great flavor as well, though they were a bit too oily for my tatse. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but the tortillas weren't my favorite. They tasted like the store bought ones from the grocery store which i'm not a huge fan of. For dessert, we tried the churro donuts and they were definitely worth it. Perfectly crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and paired really well with the caramel sauce. Sweet, but that's exactly what you want from a treat like that. They also offer a good selection of drinks. I went with the guava lemonade and it was a 10/10. Refreshing and flavorful. There is some seating area indoors and more outdoors which is nice, but I do with they had heaters for the outside seating when it gets cold.

As you walk into this deceptively designed shop, you'll find a tight entry. To the right is the…read moreservice counter. Immediately in front of you, is a grocery store with fresh produce, drinks, etc.. There's no real service to speak of. You go in, look at the menu above and behind the register, make your choices and pay the employee at the till. When I went, no one offered to answer any questions or sell me anything. The woman at the counter next to the young man behind the register just watched me while I checked stuff out. On the left between a dark room and the grocery, were large racks of Mexican pastries and breads. I have tried Mexican pastries in the past and have not really enjoyed them. But "hope springs. . ." and all that. So, seeing a decent amount of plump pastries and breads that looked incredibly fresh and enticing, I used the provided tongs and placed a few into a bag (also provided). I'm still thinking about going back for more. They were all moist and flavorful with fillings that were delicately sweetened. So so good. I perused the menu acting as though I hadn't come there for one item only - a breakfast burrito with bacon. I liked the breakfast burrito I had here and would definitely recommend it. It's a full meal capable of holding you for a long time. I would probably want to eat one again before a long day of chores, shopping, or a strenuous hike. I need to feel like I earned the calories. And I wasn't hungry until dinner. Behind the register is a doorway to a whole other experience. The kitchen is safely and sanitarily located behind tall countertops and a refrigerated section. I was excited to see the variety of offerings from south of the border. Are you hankering for a goody you can only get in Mexico, come here and look. You'll probably find it. That dark room I mentioned earlier is a huge dining area with dark iconic furniture that I discovered on my first trip to Mexico many years ago. Black leather and wood barrel shaped chairs with black leather topped round tables scattered around a dark room with black tile floors. There were patrons eating at a couple of the tables who looked like regulars. The size of the dining area made me think it would be a great place for a large gathering. I'm now wondering if they ever have live music and if they would be able to accommodate a large birthday party. There are a couple of picnic tables in the back, off the parking lot, where I ate my meal. I believe the notion of putting tables back there was more like an afterthought because it's not decorated and it's right along the back walkway from parked cars to the restaurant door. It's not regularly attended to, I guess, as there were remnants of another customer's meal at the other table. I also had the thought that it might just be a place for the employees to take a break and eat a meal in peace. Overall, I will be coming back and trying other menu items, baked goods and products from the other room.

The restaurant itself is fairly small and feels intimate. With so few tables, I think a reservation is a god idea. Ely, our server, came by right away to get our drink orders and answer questions about the menu. With a warm smile, she makes you feel very welcome. The paella is only served on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. Three of us decided to share the shrimp tacos ($17). The dish has 3 small soft shell tacos with shrimp and tomato slivers (see photo) and a sauce - delish! Then came the paella ($55). Brought to the table in a hot skillet. Terrific presentation (see photo). Saffron rice covered with a ton of pork, chicken and sausage, a cut open cooked lime, and other goodies. WOW!!! Terrific dish. The menu describes it as feeding 2. We were 3 hungry diners and didn't come close to being able to finish it. My friend, the non-paella eater, ordered the salmon ($30). Huge piece of salmon over a bed of what appeared to be sautéed veggies. Beautiful presentation (sorry, forgot to photo) and he said it was delish. Lovely ambiance, excellent attentive service, outstanding food at reasonable prices. We will be back. Definitely for the meat paella.
