Its amazing to see your avocados being cut in front of you to make your smoothie, very refreshing and a big departure to what most powedered junk boba shops like Quickly offers. Their price for drinks around $7! When Jamba Juice want $14? Every smoothie they make is super addicting as they are healthy with no sugars added like most other places. Their Avocado smoothie, Hawaiian Colada smoothie, Coconut Coffee Ice Latte, Bulgogi Dumplings, Popcorn Chicken are all amazing. Can never walk out here without their desserts too - Tiramisu Cake and Lychee Cake is handmade are delicious. Their Cheesecakes have a lot of fans super popular. They are so smooth and creamy super addicting. I see lots of people order big batches 20 over dozens. Highly highly recommend them. I love coming here everyday now. Unreliable hours. Their online listings and the sign posted near the door state they are open from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM every day. However, I have tried visiting three separate times now--at 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM--and they were closed every time. The lights were out and the doors were locked with no note explaining the closure. Wasted a few trips coming out here. Definitely call ahead before making the drive. read more

A few minutes later, my drink was ready so I started sipping it as I walked to my car. It was nice and icy cold. It was tasty and not overly sweet but the mango flavor dominated the other two fruits that really didn't come out as I finished it. Being a guava person, I would have liked that to be more prominent here. A young gal came in to help behind the counter and the gentleman made my drink as more customers came in. What a great find! People running the place could not be nicer and they clearly are fanatics about quality. All the signs boast about real fruit in the drinks and they aren't kidding. Worker said they don't use syrups anymore in their smoothies. However, on the counter were plastic bottles with syrups inside. There was a distinct flavor that tasted like syrup, it wasn't the taste of sugar nor juice. Overpriced smoothies for the size and it tasted bad. I didn't even drink 1/4 of it. I visited L Drinks & Snacks in San Bruno and ordered their top-selling smoothie, the Hawaiian Passion Fruit. I'm not usually into super sweet drinks, so I asked if they could take out the passion fruit. The staff explained that the mixture is premade, but he offered to adjust the amount so it wouldn't be overly sweet. I really appreciated that he took the time to explain and still made it work for me. And honestly... it turned out SO good. You can taste a little bit of everything the passion fruit, mango, and guava all blend perfectly. It was refreshing, balanced, and not too sweet at all. They sub-divided L&L BBQ's dining room in half and opened up L Drinks & Snacks. They share the same washroom. There's a 15% off soft opening discount even though they opened more than three weeks ago. I had a guava smoothie $7.35 and chicken wings $7.61. What I really wanted was a milk tea and popcorn chicken. Both are not on their menu. It took about 10 minutes for the wings to come out. There are no salt and pepper or chili powder shakers available for the fried chicken. The guava smoothie tasted more like strawberry than guava. The wings were OK. It needed more seasoning. Maybe I'm so used to Asian style snack shops. This was not what I expected. The menu feels like a mix of Jamba Juice with fried chicken. LDS only has six flavors. That's boring. They need more variety like, apple, berry, cantaloupe, coconut, grape, kumquat, lemon, lychee, orange, pineapple, pomegranate, sugar cane, tea or watermelon. Service was excellent. read more

The smoothies, coconut latte and fried chicken bites here were all delicious and the service was top notch. The people who were managing the restaurant (newly reopened) were SO kind and engaging and reallt focused on making sure we were happy with the food. The place was also very clean. I also got a chance to try the coconut coffee--at first, I was hesitant, but I'm so glad I gave it a shot because it turned out to be amazing. It pairs perfectly with their cheesecake, which was a pleasant surprise. Another standout for me was the chicken cartilage. Normally I don't like cartilage, but this completely changed my mind. So glad I gave this place a try. I ordered the strawberry and banana smoothie and fried chicken bites. The smoothie was refreshing while the fried chicken was hot, fairly juicy and crunchy. The service was also great. The man who served me answered any questions I had and even told me a bit of how they keep their food fresh. Found a great hidden jewel of a shop! This place is so small that I didn't even realize that it existed until I stopped by L&L Hawai'i. Per the new owner they opened/reopened up 2 months ago. I ordered their Hawaiian Breeze smoothie which is absolutely delicious! He informed me that all smoothies are made with fresh fruits in store and he adds in just a small amount of syrup to enhance the sweet flavor of the fruits. They have a limited food menu at this time, which includes some dessert options (some homemade and some made via a bakery). I tried his homemade Japanese cheesecake with a light drizzling of strawberry sauce. All I have to say is it's absolutely. DELICIOUS! The top has a little bit of a crisp to it and the inside is so smooth and creamy yet fluffy and mix for a great small snack since they are cupcake size. My only mild disappointment was the fried chicken bites that I ordered. The flavor is delicious, don't get me wrong, however I was expecting it to have a coating around the chicken to make it crunchy but it is just a deep fried piece of chicken with no crispiness to it. I will definitely order it again just not under the illusion anymore of it being something crispy. Definitely intrigued to try some of their other menu options the next time I come in. read more

This place is such a gem!! Just walked in since I was picking up food next door and I ordered the avocado smoothie and a few different kinds of cake, they are so fresh and so good!! The cakes are super moisture with the right amount of sugar ( not too sweet), the cake is so soft and creamy . The avocado shake is very light yet flavorful.
