Lemon Loaf (SF) - sweetened with alulose. Delicious, dense, moist. Loved the bottom bits as they had a more concentrated lemon flavor. However, maybe it's because I waited a couple of days to eat it. Highly recommend transferring to a plate or trey if you're gonna wait as long as I did as some juices seeped out of the bottom corners of the box. My dad loves lemon desserts and he loved this one. He said it's like bread pudding. A very dense one. There's no weird aftertaste that many sugar free desserts or sodas have. I really couldn't tell it was sugar free! Everyone loved it. I opted for pickup instead of delivery since I was heading that way anyway. Parking is tough. I ended up parking in a red zone at the corner a few houses away and got a little worried but I was able to pick it up within 5 minutes without getting a ticket. Whew! Ordered directly from the website and got a text once the order was ready for pickup. The minute Veronica opened the door, a cloud of baked goods hit my nose and I was in heaven. I really had to refrain myself from eating it as soon as I got back to my car. I had to put it in my trunk to avoid temptation. Picked it up on a Friday and had to hide it from myself until Sunday for Father's Day! Looking forward to trying other items on the menu. read more

Must try if you love banana bread!! Super moist, amazing banana flavors throughout. Better than most home-baked and store-bought varieties. Puts happy in me to eat it. So sad when the last bite was gone. Wish we had bought two loaves. She bakes them at home. You order online and pickup, or get them delivered if you are within reach. Quite expensive at $20/loaf, but she uses organic ingredients... and those are very heavy loaves. Goes well with beer, even for those who don't like beer. I like the vegan samples and regular loaf equally. Not as into the samples I had of the Banana Bread Chocolate Chip Cookies. They taste quite like normal Chocolate Chip Cookies that I am not into. I came across Veronica's outstanding mouth-watering banana bread at an event. She had made a vegan version of it for the event and it tasted amazing; it was the best bite I had at the event. That same evening, I emailed Veronica to place an order for a game day we have that upcoming weekend. Veronica responded quickly and we agreed on a window when she'd deliver. While I really enjoyed the vegan version, I decided to try her banana bread in the way she recommended - regular, with walnuts. Come Saturday, Veronica let me know she will be able to deliver the banana bread at my preferred time, and she did. Lemme tell you, it's sooooo good!! The crunchy caramely crust, the soft, still warm, moist insides, and umami buttery flavors was heaven on earth; the banana bread was loaded with quality ingredients, and it was amazing. We had a couple of friends over, and everyone had thirds; we all loved Veronica's banana bread. Having now tried both her vegan version and the regular walnut version, I'd say I loved both versions, and would probably order whichever I feel like in the moment for future orders. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients, and I love that everything is made with organic ingredients. You haven't truly tasted banana bread if you haven't had a loaf from Nina's Home Bakery. I am a huge banana bread fan and consider myself super picky. As soon as I picked my order, I was pleasantly surprised at how substantial (read: heavy) the loaf was. The smell alone was mouthwatering; I couldn't resist sneaking a bite in the car on the way home. And OH MY GOODNESS. I don't even know how to explain what my tastebuds went through at that moment, but hands down, it surpassed allllll my expectations - the crust was perfectly caramelized with the perfect amount of crunch, the loaf was not too fluffy, not too dense... I meant to take nice photos with my cup of afternoon tea, etc. but this is the only one I managed to take just 30 minutes after I got home.., after my normally picky children ravaged my precious cargo. I warmed this piece up the next day in the toaster oven and it was just as divine as it was the day before. I can, with 100% confidence, declare that Veronica makes the absolute BEST banana bread I have ever tasted (sorry, Mom). Needless to say, I have ordered several more times from her and will continue to do so on a regular basis. Her banana bread is my go-to gift for friend's birthdays, housewarming parties, etc. and I love that she can accommodate vegan and gluten-free diets as well. Some guardian angel must have guided me to this wonderful bakery. For my husband's 65th birthday (yup, Medicare time) party, I was frantically looking for a bakery that offered a banana cake and even better with chocolate, not fruit on top or in the filling with whipped or buttercream but in the batter. Although many sites offer "custom cake order" it's rather misleading cuz they don't really do customized requests. "Sorry, we can't/don't do that" ... Thankfully, I found Veronica who willingly worked with me to experiment with my request to produce a customized banana chocolate 1/4 sheet baked goodness. It wasn't a cake, per se, but more like a banana chocolate chip blondie. Still, it was a hit. Veronica is super nice, professional and responsive to my needs. And a new creation is born. One bite and you can tell it's made with fresh ingredients. One of my guests doesn't even like bananas but thought this treat was "just heavenly, a mouthful of paradise" with the high quality chocolate chips, a nice change from traditional birthday cakes.
