    Kim chi fried rice

Spacious, family-friendly, fast-casual Korean-style eatery in San Bruno. There is a lot of space inside the restaurant which made it comfortable. The service was quick and friendly as well. I got the kim chi fried rice and WOW- so much flavor! It was a little spicy for me- but the flavor was dynamic and the portion size was enormous. The kim chi fried rice made for fantastic leftovers the next day for lunch!

I tried one drink and took a few sips and straight to the trash unfortunately. Extremely sweet (i asked for 75%) can't imagine full sweetness. I ordered the popular Taro Cloud and it tastes like cereal milk. The garbage can area was filled with trash and sauces smeared on the tables near by (it was not busy) to be left like that . If this is your fav boba spot, enjoy.

More than just a teahouse. The menu offers traditional dishes with their own twist. Drinks are always delicious. It gets busy at certain times so they added a self ordering system so orders can be made without waiting for a clerk. Plenty of seating for large parties or individuals. Many have made it a hangout to do work or socialize while enjoying great drinks/food. Stop by and give them a try.

Societea is a boba place in San Bruno. They have boba and snack. The snacks include fried chicken and rice plates. The drinks include variations of boba and coffee. I got the taro cloud and fried chicken. Both items were a 3/5 for me. The drink was too sweet to a point that it just tasted like sugar. There was a hint of taro, but I did not taste much of it. The fried chicken was flavored well but it was dry. The service was great, I was able to get my food very quickly. Even though the food is mediocre, I have to give it to the vibes. The vibes are immaculate! This place is very cute.

We live in a Societea indeed - and this one is pleasantly large, with a standard front area and 3x the space in the back. They have board games and lots of sockets everywhere to charge and get work done. The music was a bit loud for me. But nothing headphones can't deal with. Service was great. Fast and personable Food was really good. Menu has food snacks, and drinks. Drinks were about even mix of matcha, milk, fruit, and coffee offerings with option for oat milk. Matchagato was good of matcha with ice cream on top. Pork belly banh mi was warm, fresh, good, and crispy. Some pieces were extra fatty but overall solid.

Nice interior space with comfortable seating. I got the Taro Cloud that I was quite happy with. Would like to return for the food as it looked like a good selection.

Love the variety of food and drinks on the menu here, and very spacious seating area. Service was fast and friendly. I love the fun decor, art, and inviting ambiance. This is a solid spot to chill with friends and enjoy a drink or two! I tried the Brown Sugar Latte with boba, 50% sweet and I really liked it. Definitely recommend sticking with the sugar adjustment, I think that it might be a little too sweet if it was regular sweet. The boba was perfectly chewy, not hard nor too soft. I prefer milk teas over other types of boba and this one was on point! This was not my first time here and I remember I've tried their tteokbokki in the past. Looks like that's no longer on the menu but I enjoyed it! Would definitely explore their food options here.

Whoa - this place is HUGE! Don't be fooled by their humble storefront.. they have a whole section towards the back with plenty of comfy seating, coffee table style seating for easy conversation, and work desks for those who wants to hang out and study and work. Their drinks are pretty good at good prices. And most of all, I really like their K-Style snacks: K-Potato Dogs, K-Cheese Dogs, fried chicken nuggets, etc. They are all super yum and perfect for hang out and studying. Nice clean environment. Friendly service. Good drinks and snacks. Thumbs up!

Nice vibes and asthectics! This boba spot is also a good selection for food and milktea. I ordered a bugolgi banh mi and a mango black tea. Pretty good and tasty, I like how they ask if I wanted jalapeños or not, very considerate for the non- spicy eaters. Lol The service was fast and sufficient. It was clear where to get your drink and they have food delivered to you. Will come again and bring my laptop and appetite!

I absolutely love Societea! This spot is always such a fun and cute place to stop by--it's super clean and has a really welcoming vibe. It's my go-to when I need a sweet pick-me-up. Their boba is so good--perfectly chewy and flavorful every time. I've also tried their food, including the sandwiches and bowls, and they're just as amazing! Everything I've had has been super yummy, fresh, and full of flavor. They offer great options and it all feels well worth the cost. Definitely a fave for drinks and bites! Service is always nice. Parking isn't too bad, there's street parking and also lots in the back.

I wanted a small bite, so ordered a popcorn chicken ($8) and Jasmine milk tea ($6) at the counter. The cashier was super patient. You can also sign up for rewards too. The restaurant was modern and there's plenty of seating in the back area, definitely a good place to hangout. My food was pretty quick which was awesome. I also saw other drinks being made and the matcha color looks like the powder may have been oxidize. Sadly, the Jasmine tea was water down. The boba can also be better, it was just super soft which can be seen in my photo. Uneven shape in my drink. Popcorn chicken can have more crunch, though the chicken pieces were tender. The spice coating was uneven, but it had great flavor.

Cute boba shop with lots of seating in the small strip area in San Bruno. The review is only for the drinks. We got the matcha latte and the brown sugar matcha. The drinks were okay and we know it's not ceremonial matcha but the grade is pretty subpar. The boba was too soft and did not have the bouncy firm texture it should have. The drinks were more of 2.5/5. Would love to try their food items in the near future. It's nice that they have a tuesday deal going on, buy 1 get 1 50%. Other than that, service was good. Lots of photo ops and very family friendly. Having games would be a great touch as well!

This is a tiny little shop that seems to do a tremendous amount of business. Yesterday, we were in the area at 11:30, before the lunch rush officially begins. We parked practically in front at the curb and walked to the front door. Inside were about 10 customers, some waiting to pay, some watching their sandwiches being made and others waiting to order. We weren't quite exactly where to stand so we wormed our way to what we thought might be the end of the line. Probably not necessary. There were three sandwich makers and they simply called "next" when they were ready for the next guest. The first question we were asked was how many sandwiches followed by what breads. We're both fans of Dutch Crunch so that made it easy. Then we were asked what sandwich was first. With everything? What kind of cheese? Any add-ons? Then the second sandwich, same questions. The process was impressive. Our sandwich maker knew his craft and made us two wonderful sandwiches. She ordered the Fire Roasted Steak with everything. I ordered the Lucca's Ultimate Club without the Hot Pepper Sauce (mistake!). We got back to our van and the hot Steak smelled so good, we split it right then and completely devoured it! The Hot Pepper Sauce was not super spicy and the entire sandwich was huge and delicious. This morning, we split the Lucca's Ultimate. We each managed to put away about 1/2 of our 1/2 and then had to put them away. Not to worry, we finished them at dinner. I think because I had omitted the Hot Pepper Sauce, this sandwich wasn't quite as moist. I would have liked more lettuce, tomato and possibly some avocado. That's a note to myself for next time. Yes, there will be a next time. Service was great. Food was great. I wouldn't want the business to change anything. A small shop with huge demand that makes great food is worth the wait. Some might say that enlarging the business would increase speed and capacity but I say don't mess with a great thing!

Her tone was rude, aggressive, and disrespectful. She didn't politely ask me to wait outside--she simply pointed at the door and repeatedly shouted for me to go outside. Everyone waiting in line turned to look at me, and it was embarrassing and humiliating. What made the situation even more upsetting was that there were other customers inside the restaurant waiting as well, yet this older female cashier did not ask any of them to wait outside. She spoke to them politely and normally, while I was the only person singled out and treated this way. If the restaurant has a policy requiring delivery drivers to wait outside due to limited space, I completely understand. However, that policy should be communicated respectfully and applied consistently--not in a rude and demeaning manner. This experience left me feeling singled out and unfairly treated. I cannot say for certain whether discrimination played a role, but being the only person ordered outside while everyone else was treated with courtesy made me seriously question why I was treated differently. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and provides better training to their staff. Delivery drivers are helping serve your customers, and when we visit as paying customers, we deserve the same respect as everyone else. Courtesy and professionalism should be extended to every person who walks through your door.

I ordered the Godfather sandwich based on previous photos. I thought it was going to be some kind of a loaded sandwich since it was $20 after tax. When I opened the box, I was a little bit worried that I had ordered the wrong sandwich because it was about the size of my hand. I looked at the photos and I thought ma'am it's kind of looks similar, but maybe I'm just missing something as a scale. But if you look at the layers of the meat, there are actually less layers now than there were 12 and eight months ago. I'm not saying it's a bad sandwich. I'm just saying it's a bad value. The Caesar salad seemed like it was prepackaged in a box. The cheese, kind of taste like refrigerator. And there was no lemon or any kind of anchovy sauce or flavor in the dressing. At the time of writing this review, this restaurant has 4.6 stars shame on me for not reading the recent reviews because I'm not sure I would have ventured here if I did.

The menu is pretty straightforward, offering a variety of basic and specialty sandwiches. Most of the basic sandwiches (the one meat options with standard toppings) were less than $10!! I opted for one of those sandwiches, getting the turkey sandwich on dutch crunch. From the cross-section of the sandwich, you can tell this is indeed a hearty sandwich. The quantity of meat they provide for the price is plentiful, and the ingredients making the sandwich all tasted fresh. The service was fast and friendly overall.
