Nika has been in charge of my hair for 2 decades. She has a good eye for elegance and high quality style that's hard to match. It's difficult to find a proper professional who understands how to treat fine hair like mine, and her ability to do that keeps me coming back even after moving out of NYC.

Nika is amazing. I've been a client since 2018. She is incredibly professional and she knows everything and a master with color and cuts. Never a long wait either, she books appointments with consideration for your time. Go see her for a blow out too! Better than Blo or DryBar and earlier hours for it too if you need before work!

    Great color, I loved it.

My visit here was great! Place is quiet with just you and one other customers plus the stylists and one assistant. Makes you feel like they are only focusing on taking good care of you. The place is chic and clean. The lady asked questions of what you like and want and goes right to work. The hair was is good as always...Warm towel on your neck and those massage on your head.....Puts me to sleep! End result is exactly what I want as usual. Just enjoy it!

Blow dry intact without hair spray even next morning. Love my hair and how smooth it is still.

Omg. Can't believe this salon was right by my hotel. They were amazing. The sudden warm weather and peloton classes were making my hair limp. So I needed a pick me up. I generally like deep conditioning for my hair. I have frizzy Indian hair which is thick and curly. No matter how much I shampooed, my hair was losing lusture and smoothness. I called them in the morning and got an appointment for the evening. I had a speech soon after that so it was so great to get an appointment on time. The salon is small. But the staff is just amazing. They are so welcoming that I didn't feel I went there for the first time. We talked so much I felt I have known them for years. No one has given me such an amazing blow for couple of years now. I'm from Connecticut and feel bad that they are not near Hartford :( but now I know where to go to when I'm in New York. It's very near grand central. At the end my hair is so smooth and the blow dry was so amazing , my boy friend thought I had a hair cut :) So it was indeed a very good find. If you are in New York definitely try them.

If you're looking for a new hair salon stop scrolling... LENVIE is the absolute best, and i can't thank them enough. I had a bad brown balayage that i didn't like at all and i was looking to go to a nice bright blonde. Everywhere told me i couldn't do it or it would cost over 500+. I came here today for a consultation and wow am I so so so so happy i went through with it. My hair turned out amazing and the staff is incredible, they truly care about you here and worked so hard for over 6 hours on my hair i can't thank them enough!!! please come and see what i'm talking about you won't regret it I have before and after photos down below

BLONDES BEWARE! they will destroy your precious blonde locks with no remorse or apology! I came in with 4 weeks regrowth(literally not that much) ..left looking like I've been dragged thru hell and back. I'm now 25 going on 35..I wish I was joking. my beigey blonde hair has been turned GRAY with what is a very ugly dark root base??!! (ummm I went in to LIGHTEN my roots...now I look like I have 3 months of regrowth....) the owner was not very helpful or apologetic when I expressed my grievances. she simply told the girl to retone it .. which merely resulted in the very dark brown color being lifted to a god awful REDDISH BROWN.. and my blonde is still gray. it's muddy, it's ugly. I specified I wanted to be VERY blonde..highlights and a tint between(high lift color/bleach with tone at the bowl.. NOT a dark root shade!!) like the rest of my hair, hello.. on top of it all they took 0 accountability for what they did to my hair. it'd be one thing if they could actually own up and admit to the miscommunication issue, offer a sincere apology or discount perhaps???!! instead all of the workers came together to try to convince me my hair looks good...ummm.. lol just shows the entire salon is not to be trusted, honestly. seriously, avoid this place like the plague. ESPECIALLY if you're blonde and want to remain blonde with your hair in good health. see photos for the trauma I endured $300 later. unreal, they don't even deserve 1 star.

    This does NOT look natural!

This was the absolute WORST hair experience - a total disaster! I came in for an ombre / balayage color. I showed the stylist pictures of exactly what I wanted. I emphasized that I wanted my hair to look natural and did not want bright blonde streaks. Four hours and hundreds of dollars later... I had horrific blonde streaks in my dark brown hair. It did not look natural and it was exactly what I said I did not want. When I saw my hair I was in total shock. I was very late for a birthday dinner that I was hosting so I had to run out. I put my hair in a high bun and tried not to think about the color. When I got home and looked at my hair again I was devastated. I work a corporate job and could not go to work with the hair color. I called / emailed / texted the salon and no response. This occurred on a long weekend. Thankfully, I was able to go to a different salon and they were able to fix my horrible hair color. When I finally spoke to the owner of the salon she refused to refund me for the hair color that I expressly stated I did not want. She said that I did not complain right after the fact so I clearly didn't hate it. That is absurd and incorrect. I received a service that I did not want and should have been reimbursed. This is the type of unprofessional conduct that causes people to contact the better business bureau. The owner offered to fix it... but only days after I had to fix it at a different salon because I could not go in to work with such a horrific color. -------------------- To respond to the response below: 1. I am not Amanda - so the entire response likely does not relate to me. 2. I did not text you prior to my appointment. I called to schedule the appointment. 3. I absolutely did not want anything dramatic. As I said above, I did not send any texts before my appointment. 4. I reached out the night after my appointment, not a week after. I had my hair done on a Saturday and did not hear from you until Tuesday. 5. Look at the picture below. This is NOT want I wanted. This is what I was afraid of. I look like a Skunk!

I highly recommend Miss Bliss for superior quality and service!…read more I was in NY for work and desperately needed to get my nails done before a trade show. I found Miss Bliss on Yelp as a business open Sunday evening and walked in around 5 (they close at 7). All the seats were full and 2 girls already waiting, so they advised the wait would be an hour bc of this existing appointments. No problem for me since I thought this was still plenty of time to get in before closing. They were able to seat me around 5:45. I requested Gel-x (my first time but also my nails were pretty short and damaged from my picking off the last gel as it grew out). Jenny began meticulously working on cleaning my cuticles and sizing me up for the tips. I don't know what they look for, but she definitely worked through the different size options, and even re-applied one of the tips bc she noticed something was off. Honestly, I don't think I have have noticed but I do appreciate her attention to detail, she obviously cares about her craft. So 7 pm rolls around, the 3 other customers that were still there and had wrapped up their nail sessions. Julie, the other nail tech offers to finish up my polish design to let Jenny go home to her kids. I'm definitely feeling bad for keeping them past closing, and I am secretly hoping they rush through the polish so they can leave. NOPE! Julie takes her time on my design, and finishes up with a nice neck and hand massage, warm towel, and we all finally close up at 830. I am super grateful they continued to dedicate time to my service, while not sacrificing quality. Left a fat tip since I know Jenny and Julie will be splitting. Looking forward to coming back here on a future NY trip! Next time I will make an appointment though

my rating is between 3.5 and 4…read more i called ahead to see if they had any availability, and since they had pretty good ratings on google and yelp, i decided to go for it. my nails were getting way too long anyways. it was a very typical nail salon, the exact kind you would imagine when you think of one. she didn't ask what length i wanted and just went straight for the cut. by the time it came to filing, my nails ended up super short, and i am definitely a longer nail kind of girl. i'm not sure if she simply forgot to ask, but i'd like to think she was looking out for me and knew my nails would chip if they were kept too long. i went for a regular gel manicure since i told myself my nails need a break after this. when she was done, she gave me a shoulder massage, but it was very brief (shorter than the typical massages you get at nail appointments) and only on one shoulder, which felt a little odd. upon leaving, i immediately noticed a flaw on my left thumb. there were visibly tiny bumps, and once i noticed them, they kept bothering me. my conclusion: always go to the nail salon you trust, and that is exactly what i should've done.

It truly creates a relaxing atmosphere. However, I've noticed that the quality of the mani & pedi has declined over the years, which has made me hesitant to return, even though it's in the most convenient location for me. These days when I returned, it's just for last minute color change to avoid more damage. I referred a friend to join me for a mani/pedi once, and she also mentioned that while the ambiance is great, but the owners should get their own mani & pedi done by their technicians, which I completely agree with. While I usually don't like getting my cuticles pushed or cut, I really appreciate that they respected that preference. However, when it comes to removing polish, it's done very recklessly with a lack of attention to detail. On several occasions, they've scraped the skin around the nails--sometimes cutting it to the point where it bled and required a bandage. When I mentioned this to the hostess after she asked for feedback, she dismissed it by saying I have sensitive skin. Since when is it normal for skin to be scraped during a mani/pedi? Additionally, I've had gel mani here twice in a row, and the technician over-shaved to the point where my nails ended up paper-thin that I have to ask the technician to apply extra coats to make up for it. One time, the technician even touched my skin with the machine that is used to shave the gel polish off. I've also had my skin scraped during pedicures, which is concerning. Every time I get a gel mani, within two weeks, the polish would start to lift on the cuticle side, which shows a lack of precision during the application. My friend got a regular mani & pedi here, and one of her nails chipped within a day. While I still love the atmosphere and the owners, the decline in the quality of the services, especially regarding polish removal, nail care, and attention to detail, has made me hesitant on coming back.

I had a very disappointing experience at this salon…read more When I called to book an appointment, I clearly explained that I already had hard gel on my nails and asked how much it would cost to remove it and get a new gel manicure. They told me $70.20, and no one mentioned that the price could be higher. During the appointment, it became clear that they didn't know how to remove my previous gel properly. It wasn't a "different type of gel" -- they just didn't know how to do it correctly. Instead of properly filing it off with the machine, they only removed the color layer. Then they wrapped my nails in foil and left me sitting there while the nail technician did a full pedicure for another client, without saying a word to me. I was just waiting the entire time. When she finally came back, she seemed surprised that the gel was still there -- and only then started removing it with the machine. She never explained anything to me, and I felt very uncomfortable because they were clearly experimenting on my nails. In any professional salon, hard gel is removed completely with a machine -- not like this. At the end, they told me the total was $164. I was shocked. They said it was because of a "different gel" and a "different service," which wasn't true -- I had told them in advance that it was hard gel. If they had informed me that the price would be higher, I would have decided whether to continue or not. When I calmly explained that no one mentioned this, they refused to listen. Then, when I asked to speak with the employer (the boss/owner) who wasn't there at the time, she got on the phone and spoke very rudely, claiming the nail master had told me about the higher cost -- which was a complete lie. The worst part is that they both started threatening to call the cops, even though I was polite and honest the entire time. I ended up paying with my foreign card, using my last money, but the way they treated me was absolutely unacceptable. While I was talking to the employer, the nail master stood there chewing gum and didn't even look at me. It was clear they were covering for each other. She never told me about any extra charge. I left the salon very upset and disappointed. I believe honesty, professionalism, and communication are the most important parts of good service -- unfortunately, I didn't experience any of that here. How can professional staff, instead of listening or offering any solution, threaten me by saying, "We will call the cops! We will call the cops!!!"? I've been doing my nails regularly for five years, and I've never had such awful quality and service. They didn't know how to remove the gel properly and then put all their mistakes, my waiting time, and the extra costs on me and my pocket. To make things worse, the final work was low quality -- on my pinky finger, they added Gel-X and didn't even file or shorten it. It's longer than my other nails and hurts
