Really great fruit basket, thank you! Thank you for holding the doors, really enjoyed the concierge. Shoutout to the personable pool bartender. If you stay here, take a look at the special, super large book of art photographs by Annie Leibowitz. There was some odd, loud construction downstairs when we showed up. I guess it had to happen during the day but it lasted all day. Also I'm so confused. The restaurant off the lobby was so bad. Our original waiter was horrible, we were only given tap water (oh man I sound like such a douche), but seriously, there wasn't even a choice given and there wasn't one place, even the most casual of places that didn't offer Spring Water. If it wasn't for a charming conversation with Nabiel that we had, I would have blasted this place. Perhaps this restaurant and the hotel are not related? I was so confused that what seemed like a L'Ermitage restaurant got stellar Yelp reviews so we went and it was horrible. Like, the bread, the food... if I was at The House of Pancakes I would have set my expectations differently but it was portrayed as a quality restaurant. So, maybe it was our bad and we ate at a different place than the people that reviewed the L'Ermitage restaurant went and the one attached and open to the lobby was the wrong place. Five stars for the hotel, two for the restaurant. I'll round up bc Nabiel saved the day.

We attended a work event at the Poza rooftop swimming pool bar. The area is spacious and the seating is very comfortable. They were serving us wine but I opted for the mixed hard drinks which I could order from three selections on the menu. The comped mix drinks were Fuego Dulce, Bali Hai, and Tierra Verde which were all delicious and costing 25 bucks each. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere with the various views of the city.

Our love story with L'Ermitage began 11 years ago. My husband and I had our wedding reception here on April 11, 2014--and since then, this hidden gem in Beverly Hills has felt like home. Hands down, the best staycation spot there is! L'Ermitage is the kind of luxury that whispers rather than shouts. Every time we return, we're met with warmth, elegance, and a personalized experience that always feels special. The staff goes above and beyond--genuinely kind, attentive, and thoughtful without ever being overbearing. The suites are spacious, beautifully appointed, and incredibly comfortable. It's the little touches that stand out each time we stay or dine at the restaurant--details that never go unnoticed. We're especially grateful for Delidji Gbaguidi, the Director of Operations, who truly does it all with grace and excellence. From serene balcony views to the indulgent turn-down service, every part of the experience is intentional. The hotel itself is peaceful, stylish, and never too crowded--a true escape tucked away in the heart of Beverly Hills, yet close to everything. We've stayed at many luxury hotels across LA, but we always find our way back to L'Ermitage. We're already looking forward to celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary here. Cheers to Year 11--and many more to come!

Such an amazing stay here with girlfriends for a girls weekend getaway! Excellent service. We booked a suite and it was gorgeous. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The closet was HUGE! The pillow on the bed even had my initials monogrammed. They have a car that took us into town for shopping which was so convenient and the bar downstairs is intimate and quaint, just what we needed. Will def be back!

We had an amazing stay. A beautiful spacious room, very quiet, very comfortable, bed and pillows . A beautiful vanity area with plenty of room to move around. The bathrooms are very spacious double sinks. We were offered multiple bottles of spring water as it was a hot day . The staff are so friendly and kind . We were lucky this day we had the privilege of having a house car take us to, and from our local destinations very nice our driver, Sasha was extremely attentive and shared his knowledge of the city. They have a Keurig coffee makers . And valet parking location is spectacular. They have a beautiful, rooftop pool and a very small fitness center.

Easily one of the best hotels I've ever been to. Service, cleanliness, location, presentation, and professionalism was incredible. What a treat experiencing this luxury hotel. Highly recommended!!

This hotel is chic, boutique and magnifique! While it appears to be underrated compared to the larger historical hotels in Beverly Hills, it does boast the Five-Star Hotel Award by Forbes Travel Guide and is ranked #1 of 21 hotels in the city on Tripadvisor, amongst a few other accolades. With being only 116 suites, it feels very exclusive and personalized. In my interactions with about 10 various employees of different levels, all were nothing short of excellent. I booked a Deluxe Classic Suite and they honored my particularities about the room location and level I wanted (located on second, third or fourth level). The back of the hotel is quiet but faces north and has the least amount of light, so I preferred a front south facing room despite being able to hear cars go by since it was right on the street (Burton Way). I also appreciated the fexible check-in/check-out policy. The bottled water, personalized card and fruit that greeted me in my room was a nice welcome. I can't remember ever having sweeter kumquats! My room was exceptionally clean and I am very particular, so much so that if I have any doubts of cleanliness I will never take a bath in a hotel's soaking tub. Here, I enjoyed a soak each night! It was divine, especially with the lovely scented Diptyque bath products. I was also happy to have a nice selection of drinks and snacks at my disposal, as I was wanting an uninterrupted two days of solitude. A half bottle of Sancerre, Sugarfina Gummies, and Amos Famous cookies were some of what I enjoyed - when in Rome! I also ordered room service for every meal and there was nothing I did not enjoy. The french imported condiments, an added treat! I am thrilled I was able to enjoy a getaway here. All my needs and expectations were surpassed.

Can't say enough about my stay at the BH Viceroy. Everyone who works there is incredibly service oriented from the front desk, pool, cafe, and engineering team. The manager himself gave me brunch options and followed up to see how I enjoyed myself. I was constantly asked if I would like water, assistance, or anything that could make my stay better. There was a wedding by the pool/roof area as well for those looking for fun venue options with a view. The hotel is also I. Walking distance from shopping and eats. Car service has a 2 mile radius, great for dinner or anything nearby. You can tell everyone cares! If you're an Amex or business traveler the hotel has some great perks as well. I'll be back!

Viceroy L'Hermitage is among a group of high end hotels in Beverly Hills. This one is on Burton Way and Foothill Drive close to the Beverly Hillls courthouse and Beverly Hills Tennis Club. Many family, friends and clients have stayed at this hotel and had great experiences. When meeting family, friends and or clients, I frequent this hotel for the amenities: rooftop pool, the lobby lounge connected to the current restaurant Avec Nous...both the pool and restaurant are COVID close until further notice. However, of the past times, my experiences were positive. Primarily, enjoy and like it's convenient location and upscale customer service. Also, it's not very touristy and more private that other hotels in BH. Lots of athletes and high profile celebrities prefer the low key yet posh amenities. Note worthy fact is Angelina Jolie's Mom took residence here for years. Also, Julia Roberts prefers this hotel for privacy and less crowds. This hotel is still operating, however, a recent article published in the LATimes revealed this swanky hotel was subject to fraud and embezzlement from the operating owners from Malaysia, specifically Mr. Jho Low, a Malaysian financier, who is a fugitive on the lam. He fraudulent dealings included fraudulent financial dealings involving the purchase of several properties with elicit funds from the Malaysian government. More details is published in the article for reference. This hotel will subsequently be auctioned next month starting at $100 million to prequalified buyers. It will sell for at least $100 million, federal representatives said Thursday, or perhaps more at an auction set for Aug. 19. Bidding has commenced in an auction of the Viceroy L'Ermitage Beverly Hills, a legendary hotel last owned by a highflying Malaysian investor now on the lam after being accused of embezzling billions of dollars from his country's government. The low-key boutique hotel has been known as a celebrity haunt for decades, where the likes of Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton and Laurence Olivier have bunked for the night and dined in its fancy French restaurant. Since it opened in 1975, the L'Ermitage has had a series of owners -- most recently the U.S. government, which moved to seized it in 2016 from Malaysian financier Jho Low. Federal investigators said Low bought the hotel and other properties, including a Hollywood Hills mansion, with money embezzled from a Malaysian government-owned fund intended to spur economic development in the Southeast Asian country. Again, Viceroy L'Hermitage Hotel is still open, but expect changes after new owners take over after the auction August 19 finalizes and close of escrow.

So wonderful!!! Wow, they went above and beyond! They remember you every time you get back to the property. Everyone was so kind and attentive. I'm so glad I found this gem. Customer service was nothing less than amazing! I mentioned we were celebrating my sons birthday, and WOW.... They went above my expectations! I could never stay anywhere else each time I come home to visit. From the valet to doorman, front desk and especially the night crew that greeted us every night as we return! This property has definitely set the bar high!

Review for hotel only. Gracious and highly attentive staff from bellmen to front desk to concierge, housekeepers and pool attendants. There is always someone right there to get you what you need! The rooms are spacious with seating area (grand king suite) and a large working desk area. Bathroom and dressing area are also quite large and well-stocked with bath supplies and with even a separate makeup/hair dressing table and bench. The interior is very clean and nothing feels worn or old. The pool is lovely and private on the rooftop. Relaxing stay with perfect Beverly Hills sunny weather!

Our teacups were refilled before we realized they needed to be. Our food allergies were met with ease and grace. It was the first time dining out that we did not feel extra attention given to the table for our food allergies. Daniel simply named our allergen free replacements without over explanation or extra attention, just as he presented the other tiered trays to our table. How lovely to feel as though our allergens were just taken "par for the course" and we weren't made to feel as though are needs were subject to commentary. We did have a frustrating element of our experience. 3/4 of our party had leftovers, which the service team packaged out of sight. Each of us received leftovers and the individual Peninsula cake in a bag. My adult daughter didn't have leftovers, so she didn't receive a bag, so she didn't receive her cake. We noticed after we had retreated beyond the lobby. At that time my daughter didn't want to go back and make a fuss with one of the employees and quite frankly I didn't blame her. It felt like a faux pas to go ask someone for a cake that should have been given to her already. Especially when we spent $700 for the experience. At that price - at any price - we should receive every element included in the tea service. There's no excuse to omit one of the featured elements of the tea. I'm quite frustrated by this Less Than 5-Star Service and there's no recourse for us. It's not like we can just zip on down to collect a cake that should have already been given to us. We live over 2 hours away! This once-in-a-lifetime event, as delightful as it was, has been marred by the lack of service demonstrated by the fact that every member of our party did not receive the cake we paid for, were promised, and were very much looking forward to.

It's a beautiful property, but they're doing a huge renovation project that's a major eyesore (and makes pulling into valet a little chaotic). The black out curtains thankfully block out any construction light so not a huge issue outside of how much of a pain valet is. The gym was pretty basic which also surprised me, but not a deal breaker. But the staff really go above and beyond. Valet gave some cold water bottles when they returned my vehicle, staff are always quick to help, and they do try to always go the extra mile. Rooms are clean with plush bedding and byredo bathroom accessories. The room I had was very small for the price point, but I booked last minute so I guess that was the premium I had to pay. We completely overshot the revised entrance to the property & subsequently had to circle around the area & deal with the many closed lanes & traffic to get to the entrance. Valet, for $65/night, had to park our car blocks away telling us that it could take up to 30 minutes for our car to be retrieved when we're ready to get it. What they also don't tell you is that there's no pool. You have to arrange with the concierge for a time slot at an adjacent property. Of course, we couldn't get in for our requested reservation time but we were not told that until 50 minutes after the requested time. Went to a show in West Hollywood at The Troubadour. We wanted to have a post-show drink with our friends at the ONLY bar on the property. In spite of being told in our welcome document that the bar was open until 11:30pm, there was a sign at the entrance of the bar stating it closed at 10pm. Had we known about the construction & the pool situation, we would have most likely chosen a different property. Then again, they probably knew that, which is why it was never mentioned. A lie of omission is still deceptive. We have stayed at Hiltons all over the world. The most recent for us together was in Europe this past Spring. I feel like Hilton was being purposefully deceptive in their lack of disclosure. To make matters worse, the night's sleep was a complete disaster. The room was at a frigid 62 degrees (evening temperatures in SoCal haven't been that low in months) even though the thermostat was set at 71. At 3am, I decided to turn up the temperature to 74 and grab a robe from the closet. After still not warming up, I moved the temperature to 76. Still, cold air was blowing from the vent. Finally, I turned off the unit but my evening's sleep was over. I, literally, slept for 2 hours. Super disappointed. Will think twice about staying here again if we find our way back up to LA for our many stays up here.

For nearly $500 per night, I expected the beautiful boutique hotel that was advertised. Instead, after check-in, we were taken to a completely separate building across the street that looked nothing like the property shown in the photos. It felt more like an old apartment building converted into a motel. The room contained little more than a bed, a nightstand, and a TV. It was completely different from what had been advertised. We immediately returned to the front desk and refused to stay. We left and booked another hotel that same night. When I requested a refund, I was denied. As a result, we lost $500 for a room we never even stayed in. Afterward, I found numerous guest complaints describing experiences similar to ours. What surprised me even more was seeing negative reviews followed by dozens of perfect 10/10 ratings, which raises serious questions. This experience felt misleading from start to finish. Guests should receive the hotel they were shown and paid for, not a completely different building across the street. What is especially disappointing is that these complaints are clearly not new, yet nothing seems to change. The hotel appears fully aware of these recurring issues but makes no meaningful effort to resolve them or accommodate affected guests.

I was recently told that I have had 151 different stays here, and that alone says everything. This is my all-time favorite hotel in the Beverly Hills area, and it continues to impress me every single time I return. From the moment I arrive, the service is exceptional. The staff is friendly, warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. They do not just recognize me as a guest; they make me feel like part of the hotel family. The valet team and the doormen are incredible. They know exactly what I like, they remember my preferences, and they often have everything ready before I even get to the hotel. That level of personal attention and consistency is extremely rare, even at luxury hotels. The property itself is elegant, comfortable, clean, and beautifully maintained. It has the perfect balance of Beverly Hills sophistication and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are always well-prepared, housekeeping is excellent, and the entire hotel feels polished without ever feeling cold or impersonal. The food is another major reason I love this hotel. The menu is absolutely amazing, and you can tell it was created with real care and quality. I understand that the menu was designed by a former chef from a Michelin-level restaurant, and it absolutely shows. The ingredients are top quality, the dishes are thoughtful and delicious, and everything feels elevated. The room service is especially impressive: fast, accurate, beautifully presented, and consistently excellent. It is honestly some of the best hotel room service I have experienced anywhere. What separates this hotel from so many others is consistency. After 151 different stays, I can say with confidence that this team delivers again and again. The service, food, valet, rooms, atmosphere, and overall hospitality are all outstanding. It is very difficult for a hotel to maintain that level of excellence over time, but this property does it. As someone who travels often and has experienced many Marriott properties, this hotel stands out as one of my favorites. It feels like a home away from home, and the team deserves a tremendous amount of credit for making every stay feel personal and memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Beverly Hills area. It is truly a special place, and I will continue coming back every chance I get.

It's also weird that there aren't any ice machines. Not sure if the ice is downstairs. Never asked about it. And the refrigerator in my room was not working which kind of was a bummer. The room was a little bit dark for my liking. Otherwise it was a good place to stay. There's a lounge for the higher bonvoy members. There's pretty good options in there. Hotel is valet only. As of now they charge $70 a night. The process to get your car was really efficient so that is something that they did well. The team members here were very hospitable. To the right of the check-in counter, there is a mini Mart that's fairly big of snacks, trinkets, alcohol and some other items that you can purchase. This is a great place to stay if you are looking to find a place in that Beverly hills area.

Their nightly rates and proximity to Beverly Hills made it an easy choice. Our night flight was delayed so by the time I landed at LAX and Uber'd to the hotel, it was midnight. The front desk attendant helped us immediately and had us checked in within a few minutes. The lobby was small and quaint with cold water & cups which I appreciated. Our room was ready (even though we showed up really late). It was clean and tidy. It was very late so a quick shower and off to bed. The bed was comfortable and comfy. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I would stay here again if I'm ever in the area. The reason it got 4-Stars instead of 5-Stars is due to the following: -Fitness Center: Extremely Small. I wouldn't even consider this a fitness center. It's a small room with 3 treadmills and 1 bench. There was three people in there and we felt cramped. -Bathroom was very small. Our shower had a small leak at the top of the head. No big deal, gets the job done, but not very enjoyable. -I put a different card on file for incidentals from the card I used to book the room. They charged my coffee's to the wrong card.

The rate was reasonable, room clean and mostly quiet, beds fine, mini-fridge worked well, and staff were pleasant. Our interior-facing room blocked almost all the Olympic Blvd traffic noise. Valet was convenient, Ralphs is across the street, and the 500-point welcome option was appreciated. The tradeoffs add up: $45/day valet with no practical alternative, little within walking distance, no upgrade, no housekeeping during our two-night stay, rough towels, and A/C that never got quite cool enough. The long building has one elevator, and our room had a particularly awkward bathroom/privacy layout. Nothing terrible - it did the job. But there are too many compromises for me to choose it again when better options are available. Ranking: ONLY IN A PINCH

From the moment you walk in, you're hit with a cloud of cologne so aggressive it makes you wonder if you accidentally wandered into a perfume duty-free instead of a hotel lobby. We decided to check out the rooftop bar for our anniversary because nothing says romance, like skyline views, and overpriced cocktails. Unfortunately, the food and drinks were aggressively mid - like inspiring neither joy nor outrage. Then came the plot twist. An unhinged woman (not a hotel guest mind. You) planted herself next to us and proceeded to interrupt dinner like she was part of the entertainment package. When we asked the waiter for help his response "What can we do?"iconic. Truly groundbreaking customer service. Just when we thought things couldn't escalate further a Roach made its grand entrance. My husband now apparently part-time pest control, calmly grabbed it with a napkin and handed it to the bartender. Honestly, the most efficient service interaction of the night. At that point, we did what any rational people would do - bolted back to our room, while subtly checking over our shoulders to make sure we weren't being followed by our new friend from the bar. All jokes aside, it was actually pretty unsettling. The next morning, I tried to speak with a manager about the obvious concerns: How did a non- guest make it into a secured floor? What exactly is the hotels approach to Security? And why does it take 12 hours to get a response... From an assistant... Saying Mr. Jazul is very busy? How comforting to know, guest safety ranks somewhere below his calendar. Still haven't heard from him - I assume he's overwhelmed, implementing all those robust safety measures. Would I stay again? Only if I develop a sudden passion for chaos, mystery fumes, and immersive, horror dining experiences.
