The service is 10/10. Is my second time coming here and they are just so nice and attentive. The scrambled eggs are AMAZING the best I've ever tried, best food ever and ambiance is just so peaceful at 8:00am on a Wednesday morning. Highly recommended !!!

L'Experience Paris now serves dinner! We had to try it out as "research" for summer trip to France. Overall: The restaurant had nice vibe and appeal, albeit empty. The food was outstanding - easy 5/5. Highlight was the French Onion Soup... we enjoyed Beef Bourguignon and Scallops - very flavorful and well prepared. The service was excellent, and the chef even came out to say hello. My Only complaint is the seating! Metal chairs at high top tables or metal chairs at standard tables... we had a corner table - two of us had the chairs and two on a bench with no back. We had to skip dessert since we were uncomfortable. Fix the seats and auto 5/5

    The pastries are divine

Food quality is a 5+. service is a 1, hence the 3 rating. It's also very pricey, but the quality of the ingredients suggests that the markup isn't artificial. In fact, I'm a diabetic and I don't get a glucose spike when I eat these pastries which is pretty amazing. I still get into the 160's so I have to go for a walk, but it's nothing like other Americanized bakeries and grocery store pastries. Farine is the same quality, but maybe 1 star less for taste. Farine is also faster, cleaner, and friendlier service. Go for the amazing pastries if you can tolerate the terrible and slow service.

    Cross-section of savory Kouign Amman

The last time I visited was over 4 years ago during the pandemic. Four year later, this place is now more of a cafe and wine bar with a nice dine-in experience. I got a few pastries to go. I definitely recommend the pastries. I loved is the fig and gruyere savory kouign amman (even when it was cold inside), the hazelnut croissant was delicious, and the Sahar cake is lacking in flavor and texture (for $18, I expected way more). Shout-out to the girl who helped me, super friendly. She told me to sign up for rewards, which got me $10 off my order. Tips: 1) Free 2-hr parking (just make sure to enter your stall number at the machine) 2) this place is on the InKind app, which has promos of $50 off $100 and $25 off $50 sometimes

Needed to get my fix for a well crafted latte. Found this little gem and ended up also ordering a hazelnut croissant and pain du chocolat. Everything was delicious-the croissant was definitely 12/10 on the scale for crispy layers! Cheree was our server and she was super attentive. Ask her about the story of the teddy bears On our way out, we bought the Camille (cheesecake) to try at home. We will definitely come back to try their brunch.

Nice to take some pictures and the food here is good. But the service here is not as good as the price. They seem to short of staff and didn't have staff come to order food after seated. The dessert here is interesting.

We came here very much on accident one evening, and left talking about how excited we are to be coming back at some point. We met some friends in Bellevue for a couple of nights, and decided to leave the kids in the hotel, and have an adult date night. We wanted somewhere where we could grab drinks and also Grab a quick snack. This was the perfect spot! They had significant amount of outdoor seating that fed seamlessly into the restaurant. We came in, picked out a croissant (delicious) and or seated promptly. It seems like everybody here is French, knows French or has spent time in France. The combination of accents and knowledge of French cuisine was impressive! They have desserts displayed in a case inside the restaurant. It was a unique combination of beautiful and delicious with options ranging from classic all the way to very specific Middle Eastern desserts. We sampled three and loved each of them! This is the sort of place that you can come withtwo people or 10, and you have an opportunity to try both things that are familiar as well as things that you probably have never seen before. We are all very excited to come back and try more!

2x Salmon Croissant Eggs Benedict's and a Veggie Omelette
    Calista C.

The restaurant doesn't have a parking lot, which makes the only options paying to park in a nearby garage or finding street parking. There is usually some street parking in front of tapster. The service here is terrible. We were seated and no one came to take our order until after we had approached them to take it (15 minutes at least). The food here is decent but not worth the price. The veggie omelette was decently cooked, the eggs Benedict croissants were nothing special. The resturant is pretty with floor to ceiling windows and has a small patio (only for smaller tables). I've heard the Kirkland location has better service.

    Salmon and Avocado Benedict Croissant

I had an excellent visit to L'Experience Paris - Bellevue. I ordered the Salade Poulet, the Salmon & Avocado Eggs Benedict Croissant, and the Almond Croissant & Hazelnut Croissant, and everything was absolutely delicious. The Salade Poulet was generous with the chicken--plenty of protein and very satisfying. The Salmon & Avocado Eggs Benedict Croissant stood out with a rich portion of salmon tucked into a buttery, flaky croissant. I only wish it came with a second egg, as there was just one, but it was poached well.  The Almond & Hazelnut Croissant was a perfect finish--sweet frangipane for the almond and heavy nutella vibes for the hazelnut. Their pastries are top-notch and clearly made with care. Highly recommend for brunch lovers or anyone craving a little slice of Paris.

    Mocha et Les Quiches

I walked past this restaurant and was instantly drawn in by the croissants in the window. A couple days later, I came back with a friend for brunch. We were seated by the window without a reservation, and our server was a kind, attentive young woman who made the experience even better. The interior is beautifully done--there's a wall of wine and a projection of French landscapes that gives the space a really charming feel. Everything was clean and inviting. We asked for recommendations, and she suggested the French toast with berry compote and the avocado toast. She also mentioned that the eggs benedict is very popular. We both ordered coffee--he got a latte, and I got a mocha. The mocha was the perfect balance of dark chocolate, espresso, and milk. It honestly made me crave a proper chocolat chaud with a warm croissant. For food, I ordered the Quiche Lorraine and my friend got the French toast with berry compote. We were both blown away. My first bite was actually the side salad, and I was surprisingly impressed with the dressing. The quiche itself was perfect--and the crust... so good. My friend loved the French toast. It was perfectly soaked and paired really well with the berry compote. I will say it leans very sweet, so don't expect anything savory-leaning--it might be a bit much if you don't have a big sweet tooth. We were a bit short on time, but the service was quick and attentive. We were in and out without even needing to mention our time crunch. This place feels underrated. I'd honestly be so sad if it closed--it's a perfect Sunday brunch spot.

Nice atmosphere, desserts weren't anything amazing, but willing to come back and try more because they do look pretty! Service was fine. Nothing exceptional but it is cute!

My husband and I found this gem when we had a staycation in Bellevue. We really loved it!!! We got seated immediately even when we didn't make a reservation. The whole place has such a cute cafe vibe! I got a latte and croissant with salmon and avocado Benedict and my husband got ham, Benedict croissant and Americano. We really loved the coffee. The milk was steamed so well. I wish my croissant is warm but it's still very good. The service was amazing and everyone has a great smile! Highly recommend this place!!

Just literally walked into this place because I thought the pastries looked nice as I was walking by. I entered with my service dog to purchase some pastries and I was immediately stopped at the door and told that I couldn't be serviced because I had a dog. I politely told the man and the woman that my dog is a service dog. They cut me off and said that they don't allow dogs period. Mind you they had a sign on their door that says "trained service dogs are allowed." I was confused so I just pointed out to them that they have signage on their door that trained service dogs were allowed and they still said no. Again I politely asked them about purchasing something (which my intention was to purchase and leave). The woman then back tracked and told me I could sit outside but it's currently 45 degreesF out and all their seats and tables were wet from earlier rain. I wish situations like this wouldn't happen and that people would first assess the situation before making assumptions or statements. Honestly it made me feel horrible because it wasn't even that they wouldn't seat me but they wouldn't allow me to purchase anything if I had my service dog with me. I have walked into so many places knowing that people may feel weird about a dog in the establishment so often times I try to just purchase and then leave and go eat outside. But to not even be allowed to purchase it honestly felt like it had to do with more than just my service dog. Like they wouldn't even hear me out as if anything that came out of my mouth was irrelevant. As an Asian American woman I encourage people to visit other French pastry shops because there are plenty that have amazing, understanding, and accommodating staff. This place is not one of them. I DO NOT recommend this place or any of its location at this point.

The lighting inside is bright enough for all the colors on their cakes and general decor to stand out on their own; in other words, it's cutesy inside and I love it! The front has a ton of chiffon and crepe cakes in a display case, and there's also a bunch of cookies near the front as well. They also serve regular and specialty drinks, and my friend and I wanted to get some here. Staff here was quick with our orders. My friend got their assam boba milk tea, while I - in the best way yet - went overboard and got both their cream brûlée latte and their strawberry chiffon cake. - The creme brûlée latte was put in a cup where I couldn't see the inside of the drink, but it still tasted great despite it being late at night. Coffee is strong, and the crema has a sweet taste that blends well with the coffee itself without making the drink too bitter. - The strawberry chiffon cake was a lot even for the two of us to split but besides that it was not too sweet, and the sponge cake inside wasn't either. Outside filling tastes heavily of cheese, though. This particular cake has the face of Hello Kitty. From reviews and hearsay, I hear they have baking classes here which is really cool. I'm not much a fan of the parking situation around the area especially late at night but I love the concept and would make a trip back to have their other pastries.

It also was very hard to light on fire in order to reveal the gender. We drove an hour round trip to pick it up, and my friend paid $100 for what turned out to be a low-quality, poorly executed cake. The cake itself was dry and lacked flavor. Everyone at the party took one bite and threw the rest away. Overall, the experience felt careless and not worth the price. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

First impressions: the space is genuinely charming. Everything is thoughtfully presented--very dreamy, almost cloud‑like in aesthetic. You want to love it before you even take a bite. The fruit cakes were pleasant, but this is where personal preference really matters. For me, I always lean toward more fruit, less cream. While the whipped cream feels light at first, after a few bites it starts to feel heavy and a bit greasy on the palate--pretty, but not especially restrained. The black sesame cake was the most interesting--and the most polarizing. The first bite was a true wow: deep, nutty, and indulgent. But as I worked through it, the texture became confusing. There were jelly‑like cubes mixed in that broke up the experience in a way I couldn't quite reconcile. I love black sesame, but this particular execution wasn't entirely my thing. The standout, without question, was the croissant. It's excellent--beautifully laminated, crisp where it should be, tender where it counts. I completely understand why they've earned awards here. I only wished there were a savory vegetarian option to explore the full range of what they can do. As for the coffee: visually, it's spot‑on. Flavor-wise, it misses the mark. Pouring caramel over the top without integrating it into the pulled shots means it sinks straight to the bottom. The result is an unbalanced experience--mild up top, an overwhelming sugar bomb at the end. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish it. All that said, it was genuinely fun to try, and it's the kind of place I'd revisit out of curiosity--especially to see what shows up seasonally. I'd absolutely be intrigued by something like a passionfruit offering.
