I hadn't been here in several months because of my bad experience. I went back tonight to pick up my roommates laundry because he had asked me to. I went and was instantly stopped at the door by the same older lady I had mentioned before in my review. She held her hand in the doorway and asked me what I was doing there. I told her I was there to pick up my friends laundry. She immediately started getting nasty with me and I told her i'm just there to pick up the laundry for my friend. She started getting nastier and I said I repeated just here to get the laundry. And she kept being nasty and trying to throw the laundry out of the dryer and then kept trying to put her hands on me. I told her please don't touch me and don't touch the laundry. She told me literally "shut up bitch." I asked her what she said, and she said the same thing.. "Shut up bitch!" My friend was with me and helped me hurry up and get the laundry out of the dryer. I will never step foot in this establishment again. I recognize it's a family owned operation, I respect that, but this lady is unprofessional and disrespectful. read more

As a new customer, I didn't know all of the procedures and the owner was extremely kind and helpful to me. Everyone in the place--staff and customers alike--were kind and generous. This is my favorite laundromat in the neighborhood. The machines always work well and the prices are affordable. My favorite part of this place is that the family that owns it is always around and very helpful if you need anything or have questions. They'll even switch your laundry from the washer to a dryer for you if you're okay with that and not around when your clothes are done. There's only 1 seat inside but this is the type of place you can just leave your bag / cart and they'll store it for you. Best of all, this place is black owned :)! I love coming here and I'm sad to move away from it. I hope to find another laundromat as great as this one. read more

Do Not drop off your laundry here I was so excited to find this laundromat because it's a black owned business, and it's the only one close to me. Little did I know that I was walking into one of the worst laundromats in the whole of Harlem! I drop off my laundry here and I was surprised at how cheap it was. People! Cheap is not alway good. I wanted to cry when I got home and realized what they had done to my clothes! They did not separate them at all even though I checked the separate clothes box when I dropped off! My white towel was brownish, and it still had make up stains! My pink under turned brownish black! One of my bras was tangled up with a string from my underwear. Every piece of light clothing I had had changed color! To top it all, THEY DON'T FOLD!!!!!!! Basically they take all your clothes and put it on one machine, dumped in the dryer then shove it in the laundry bag that came with it! That's why my clothes were tangled up! Lesson learned. I rather go where I pay more for the best service! Do not waste your time. Go to Miss Bubbles. They will pick up your clothes, separate it l, wash it, and fold it nicely for $25! I passed by for a quick laundry run on a Friday evening. The space is small, with little to no sitting space. I counted 28 machines in total. I love how I selected a hot wash and ACTUALLY got hot water throughout the wash. I will come here if I have a small load. read more

I am writing this review because I am very UPSET and disappointed with the service and lack of honesty at this business. I met the older women that owns this business and she's very blunt and a bit rude with customers. A. She stole half of the liquid detergent that I left her to do my drop off clothing to wash. When I confronted her about it she denied it! B. I asked for a receipt or ticket for my laundry drop off and she refused to give me one C. This place is cheaper then the laundry across the street but because she has such petty business practices I will never give her a cent of business again! Please AVOIDDDDDD this business even if it cost you a few cents more across the street but you can avoid theft and rude servåice! read more

It bothers me to write this review because I am a supporter of small businesses and wanted to do so with this one but when you are yelled at/treated poorly you just have to call it. I moved to Harlem recently and chose to go to 361 because 1) It is about half the price as KLM and 2) it is run by who I thought was a sweet old lady that has been in Harlem for 40 years. First two times were fine. Talked and laughed with her and thought it was great that it wasn't that busy on Sundays. Today I found out why. After drying my clothes for 20 minutes I decided to pull out some clothes and she started yelling at me that I put too many clothes in the dryer and only for 20 mins. I told her I was taking clothes out and was leaving towels in. To which she told me that I didn't even wash my clothes here which I had. I decided to leave all the stuff in to dry rather than take her wrath. Since I don't take well to be yelled at, particularly when I'm a customer, I won't be returning. After talking to another customer he told me that she has driven a number of others away as well. I guess I will give my money to the bigger corp laundromat in the hopes that I will be treated better. Oh well, so much for a supporting a local small business. read more

On a scale of awesome to never going back, I had a relatively good experience here. I went on a Saturday. The tv/speakers were a tad loud. It's pretty small, but average for New York. Lots of locals coming in and out. This seems to be a true family business. I think I meet the woman that others had a bad experience with, but she was nice enough. I absolutely adore this laundromat. The brothers who run it are the coolest and kindest men and they really watch out for their customers. Their management and friendliness keep me coming back as well as the great price! They'll definitely razz you if you don't follow the signs about slamming the machines and it can be super crowded on weekends and Mondays but the music is great and so is the company. read more

This place was close to my air bnb. The machines only take quarters. The small washer is $3.00 and the large one is $4.00. The dryer is 10min per quarter. This wonderful woman named Celine helped me through the process since I'm not used to using laundromats. She guided me through everything and was very kind. There was this awful woman there as well to look out for. I guess she worked there? Her name was Aunt something? She was mean and had a judgmental tone the entire time. She snapped at me, a regular customer, and Celine, too. Thank god i ran into Celine first, otherwise I would've given this place a 2 star. In the end, my clothes are clean and I avoided the Auntie like the plague. Just ask for Celine and you'll be fine. read more

This place is a lot smaller and a little cheaper than the huge place across the street, but you have to pay for your own drying. Also, it's quarters only. However! There is a really nice old man who's frequently doing attendant duties, and he will be happy to disappear with your crumpled dollar bills and magically reappear minutes later with a pile of quarters. Where does he get the change? My guess: leprechauns. read more

I use the drop off service. It's fast (one day or less), and my clothes are always folded properly. The staff are very friendly and work hard. However, the owners do not pay much attention to customers and don't have a great damage policy. read more
