Saved up all of my freebies and samples for the one woman who appreciates them!

Been here countless times and spent a bundle. I wanted the divine hand cream and just waltzed in at 11:50am. Despite the outdoor signage, the sample rack outside at the entrance, and the doors unlocked, they open at 12:00. I said I just wanted one thing. Nope. I gotta wait outside. Okay. 10 minutes to wait. Ya know, I really don't need a tube of $30 hand cream. Off to Sephora!

I have been using L'Occitane En Provence for a while now. Love Rose series, it's my favorite. I had a birthday coupon which I wanted to use in store today. After 25 minutes spending with cashier we finally figured out that my coupon does apply on certain products only, but not on Rose series. The seller tried to sell me Rose Lotion $29, Rose shower gel $29 and perfume $59 for $135 instead of $116. Looks like the free gift didn't ring up free or something else was going on. But it took me sometime to explain that the price wasn't right. She said she trusted the computer. After all I decided to not get any of the birthday discounts or gifts and go simple, just buy a set that was priced $84. They told me total price over hundred something which didn't make sense even if adding 8.25% sales tax. It tools sometime to figure out it was not ringing in the system right. After all they couldn't sell me the set for the price they had on display. Huge disappointment and nobody even apologized. Terrible customer service. Sale people don't seem knowledgeable at all. I guess in Walmart even better experience than in this high standard and not very cheap European brand.

    Love this overpriced store!

I've shopped at L'Occitane for many years now. I'm a VIP and do most of my shopping online. VIPs get many perks, including free samples and gifts. I decided to go to the Domain location in Austin since it had been years since I shopped at an actual boutique. The associate was friendly and helpful. She was knowledgeable about the products and their many benefits. I love the Divine Eyes and Divine Cream and highly-recommend both. While you're at it, request a sample of the Youth Oil. I'm hooked. I also recommend the verbena bath and shower gel and lotion, the many varieties of soaps, almond oil and cream, Cherry blossom bath gel and body cream and the Pivoine Flora spray, lotion, soap and gel. L'Occitane's products are made in Provence. They are wonderful and you don't need to use a lot, as a little goes a long way. However, the items are very pricey. In my opinion, some items are way overpriced. Do I recommend L'Occitane? Yes, but be prepared for sticker shock.

What a lovely store with lovely products! It's such a small store front, but it's packed with lots of goodies. For those who aren't familiar with L'Occitane, they are French body products, fragrances, and home products. The products are all created in Manosque in Southeastern France. The company name means "the Occitan woman in Provence." The sales clerk, Emili, was so nice on the phone when I called to find out the store hours. She was even nicer in-store! It was pleasant to stop in, especially to be enveloped by the subtle fragrance of the products : ) I usually pick up up items online. *Tip: If you're a VIP, you're privy to sales and freebies! : )

I'm a fan of L'Occitane products. Their shea butter lotions and creams are super hydrating without being too greasy and absorb nicely in to your skin. The scents of most of their products are pleasant and not overbearing. That being said, my eyes are often bigger than my wallet whenever I visit a L'Occitane location. Still-you get what you pay for. This past weekend was my first official visit to the newest location in Broadway plaza and it was an overall pleasant browsing experience. I had gone in to see if they had any clearance items post holiday-and they did with some great deals on pre-packaged gift sets-just not what I was in the market for. The corner location is on the smaller side but well stocked and displayed nicely to lend to a pleasant shopping experience. There are plenty of testers out to use and the staff is very helpful. Upon entering they greet you warmly and ask if there is something specific you are looking for. I heard one interaction with another customer where they spoke about their skin needs with the staff recommending what would work best for their needs. L'Occitane is a beautiful store with quality products. Worth stopping in to get ideas, make a wish list or if you are willing to drop some $$$ pick up a few bath & body splurges. This location compliments Broadway Plaza very well.

I love, love, love L'occitane products. My husband and I were introduced to these products in Carmel and have been hooked ever since!! I finally purchased the Almond Supple Skin Oil. It smells so good and not heavy at all. My skin is thanking me :)

Ariel offered me a hand scrub/massage with the lavender oil that reminded me of my proposal in the South of France.

Book Tony. That's it. That's all. That's the review!!!…read more I typically visit every three months for an 80-minute hot stone massage and was previously seeing Gabe (unfortunately, he's no longer with Woodhouse). Gabe was fantastic--he always listened to my needs and paid extra attention to the areas that needed it most. This time, I was paired with Tony and OMG--he was amazing! You know a massage is good when you catch yourself snoring? That was me, LOL. Tony provided the perfect amount of pressure and, like Gabe, really listened to my concerns and focused on the areas I needed most. I left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. Highly recommend!

I had a very disappointing experience at Woodhouse Spa in Walnut Creek…read more We scheduled a couples massage specifically requesting to be in the same room. We arrived on time, checked in, and were escorted back to begin our services. After we had already undressed and were prepared for our massage, we were informed that the appointment could not be accommodated as scheduled because the therapists needed breaks. At no point prior to our arrival were we notified of any staffing adjustments or scheduling conflicts. Instead, we were told, after we were already ready for service, that the massages would have to take place in separate rooms. We were then informed that they were fully booked for the rest of the day and could not reschedule us for the couples experience we originally booked. The only alternative offered was a complimentary guided self experience in the sauna, which was not comparable to what we had reserved. Alexa, the hospitality manager, did apologize and stated that Anna, the spa director, would be contacting us. As of yet, that has not happened. The lack of communication and follow through was extremely frustrating. If therapist breaks were going to interfere with scheduled appointments, we should have been notified before arriving. Being informed only after we were undressed and expecting our couples massage was uncomfortable and unprofessional. This experience reflected a serious lapse in customer service. When a service cannot be delivered as promised, there should be a meaningful effort to correct the situation and ensure the client still receives what they scheduled. I recommend taking your hard earned money somewhere you are valued and not expected to simply accept something different than what you reserved. Anna, After receiving your comment on my previous post, I feel it is important to clarify our position. We shared with you, as customers, exactly what our experience was booking this appointment online through your company's website. Rather than acknowledging how this situation unfolded from the client's perspective, your response focuses on explaining internal policies and procedures. Our frustration is not about therapist breaks or operational logistics. It is about communication. At no point prior to our arrival were we notified that the couples room was not secured. We arrived on time, were escorted back, undressed, and only then informed that the appointment would not be accommodated as expected. That is the core issue. As customers, we can only rely on the booking system provided by your company. If duet services must be reserved by phone and the online system does not guarantee placement in the same room, that process should be made unmistakably clear and proactively confirmed before guests arrive, especially for something as specific as a couples massage. Furthermore, instead of continuing this issue publicly from a policy standpoint, I believe this should be addressed internally within your company to ensure others do not experience the same poor communication and disappointment. Our intention in sharing our review was simply to express our experience honestly and highlight an opportunity for improvement.
