Not only was she incredibly knowledgeable and patient, but she also made me feel completely comfortable even though I was dealing with a skin breakout and feeling a little self-conscious. She recommended additional products to help my makeup apply and wear better, and she even helped apply everything so I could see the final result. Gia was kind, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure I left feeling confident. Customer service like this is rare, and I'm so grateful for her help. After walking around for about 15 mins I asked a woman for help and she very coolly told me she was busy. Ok. So it's super obvious I was being ignored. All the women who received help were white and dressed nicely. I call this phenomenon being "Pretty Womaned", lol. In a past life, I was a makeup artist and worked on a couple of film sets. None of the professional makeup artists I worked with who had been in the industry for about 30 years wore any make up. And I stopped wearing daily makeup after dealing with some significant health challenges. Personally, I choose good skin care over caking my face with too much toxic makeup. Someone did help me, and recommended some stuff to me and encouraged me to smell some various scents. A lot of the scents were way too strong for me, but some people just love this stuff and I'm there for them and not so much for myself. Ended up choosing some lotions and hand washes per their recommendation, and they put things in separate gift bags. Yay! They also do a spray of stuff and provide samples, so the Aesop scents can linger for a while. When I was doing my shopping, someone came in to explore Aesop's shaving cream-like items. I was in need of a professional wardrobe after working from home the last few years. I set up an appointment with a stylist online and she called to ask what I was looking for, my sizes, color preferences etc. I was very specific- I needed an interview suit for my conservative industry, as well as day to day office pieces and shoes. I also said I was open to jewelry (costume - Nordstrom is one of the best stores for costume jewelry that is still high quality IMO). We set an appt and I cane in and she had reserved a large fitting room and had it filled with suits and separates. Everything in row sizes (I'm a 4 or a 6 based on the designer). Nice job of bringing in both high end and more reasonable prices. No shoes, no jewelry, no outfit suggestions. That was the "style" part I really wanted. Basically for a free service it's a nice time saver to have clothes pulled and ready for you to try on. But that's it. I was prepared to spend a lot of money because I hadn't shopped much in a long time and I ended up with a single suit, a blouse, and a random t shirt I later texted the same stylist to ask if she could pull some options for an upcoming wedding I had to go to. I was running around like a madwoman, trying to find clothes and accessories (for my boyfriend) for a wedding on NEW YEAR'S DAY! Who does that!?!? After the fashion specialist in men's solved all my problems. She led me over to the Charlotte Tilbury station. I had never heard of them before. Lucky for me, I was introduced to Samantha Levy! Sam was wonderful! I felt like I'd known her my whole life. She introduced me to the brand, gave me some background information (the line is vegan and cruelty free), and even did my makeup! God bless her! Sam did such a phenomenal job on my eyeliner, she went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. Truly amazing service and talent. After seeing the magic she created on my face, I instantly fell in love with the wonder glow primer. It's magical - no I'm serious. It can be worn 3 different ways, and despite the price tag I was sold on anything Sam showed me. I also purchased one of their lipsticks, it is so creamy and I love the color. It's a nude shade that doesn't make me look dead or blah. LOL! The products smell SO good, I'm hoping the fragrances are natural (I'll have to look into that). Sam also gave me a sample of their moisturizer - which I have yet try. I have shared my samples with friends and family, they too have fallen in love immediately! I look forward to trying more products from this line, and I would highly recommend them to others.

I asked the hair stylist if it was possible, she seemed to think it was. I told her what I liked about my inspo picture and we chose a pink. She bleached the length of my hair, except about an inch from my roots and underneath on the back of my head (roots and underneath all left brown). My hair was mostly orange, some pinks, and completely fried. It was/ is tragic. The integrity of my mostly virgin hair is ruined. When it came time to blow dry I realized there was no way THIS was what I was going to pay for. I had a nail appointment and a second date after my appointment all of which I had to cancel (obviously). Management was really nice but also worried. I chose to go elsewhere to get it fixed, because no one really had a solution. I have to purchase all of the hair stuff to try to build the bonds in my hair back, and am honestly lucky I didn't have to chop it all off. If you're looking for just a root touch up, I think this salon is perfect. Anything else? Take this as your warning. The price and deals they offer aren't worth it!

Their Demi-color covered up all my grays. I went using the new customer promo, Maddie was my stylist. Loved her, she did an excellent job, and I am very happy with my color, but probably will not be back as I prefer a more full service salon.
