I especially appreciated her attention to detail for cleaning up my dry cuticles and the polish application, even while they had a few ladies waiting. I've had rushed manicures from other local salons that left me believing I didn't get my money's worth, or they skip out on my cuticles all together. My gel manicure ended up being $35 well spent. Overview of my Score/Rating: Application and Design : 5/5 I truly loved the application of this set and I get so many compliments on my nails Price : 3/5 $75 (not including tip); there was no discussion of price prior to application and I did not get a receipt to further detail of pricing Nail Fix Maintenance: 1/5 (I guess they get a point for at least offering to take my nail off) Overall : 9/15 (3/5 or 60%) I had booked an appointment through yelp after seeing their work and thought it was very beautiful. I had seen one of the photos for the prices so I had the idea of how much my nails would cost. I originally wanted only two nails marble and the rest Black, but when she put white on my nails, I tried to inform her I wanted black but that didn't get through apparently. So, I just asked for her to throw some of the glitter polish she was using and to add a v French tip in black to call it a day, since I had work after. I was kind of in shock when she told me the nails were going to be "like $75". I've had nails far more complicated than this set and for much less expensive. The quality was good, I will say that, but my usual salon informs me of the prices before going through with the design. There was no mention of prices prior to going into the set. I also did not get a receipt, so I am unable to see how much "Add-Ons" probably cost. A week later, I had the misfortune to crack my right thumbs nail. These are my natural nails, and I didn't want to waste $90 (including the tip) on a set of nails to only last a week. I contacted the salon on the day I broke my nail, no reply. I had bandaged my nail to hold until I would be contacted, no reply. I went in maybe 2-3 days after I had messaged the salon, asked if I could get it fixed. The girl told me she wasn't able to because the acrylic specialist wasn't there but she would take my nail off. At first I thought she offered to glue it, but then she said no and again said she would take the nail off. I did not want to have one short nail, and the rest longer. I would have to hack these $75 beauties and it didn't seem worth it. I got annoyed, left, dropped my phone in the parking lot, got a little frustrated since I took the bandage off my nail and was not having that half way crack exposed. I drove to Glendora to my usual nail salon "Pastel Nail Lounge" (PNL) and walked in and asked if I could get it fixed. I really didn't want to have to go there because I felt like I was cheating on my nail technicians but I knew at least they would be willing to help me since this place didn't. I didn't want one awkward nail, so I had PNL take off my other thumbs polish as well. I got what they call "Rockstar" glitter on both my thumbs and now I don't have an exposed nail. PNL usually charges between $2-6 depending on the Damage to the nail, but got it done and added glitter for $10 for both of my nails to match and be happy. read more

At the first glance, this looks like a really cute and clean nail shop in San Dimas. I got my nails done with my friend on a Tuesday afternoon. I got a GEL manicure. One FULL NAIL came off on that Friday! My friends nail (which were also gel) came off on that Saturday. I went back when the weekend was over and ask them to redo the nail only to have it peel off completely three days later... I will never be returning here because it appears that they do not use quality gel polish. My girl friends and I went here since one of our friends is getting engaged. Service was quick and they had a lot of color choices. I recommend making an appointment if going with more than one person. Shop is cute and clean. Chairs are a bit of awkward distance from foot bath area but a pillow behind your back makes it easier!
