This place had only two customers there when I walked in the front door and upon walking right back out without any services purchased I saw why. I was "greeted" at the front desk with no hello or even a smile even though I was being polite. Upon inquiring only a couple general information questions I just ended up leaving because the woman at this place made me feel like it was a chore and a hassle to have to listen to me let alone answer any questions I might of had. Ambiance appeared to be very "blah". As far as actual service quality I can't vouch for that, but if it's anything like the first impression they offer this place is in trouble. read more

I love how the environment of this place makes me feel. Everything is so relaxing! This is definitely NOT like your other typical nail salons. The LOOK of this salon gives you a different kind of feel like you've never really had before in a nail salon. The manicurists are also very friendly. It's a very nice family business. The service is great. When you set up appointments, they actually run with it, not like other places, where you would have to wait, regardless with an appointment or not. I've been a customer for lil over a year, I rarely make appointments as my work schedule is crazy. They always are kind and accommodating to me. I first started coming for the pedicures as they are one of the best in town and the gel lasts longer then the place by my house. Last month I added acrylic nails as I'm a chronic nail biter and need help to quit the habit. My nails look beautiful, I do a fill every two weeks as my nails are growing like weeds. Tracy is Extremely rude! She yelled at me for her gel curing light turning off prematurely! Then she yelled at me and was extremely rude while polishing my nails with gel polish. I swear she put 3 coats on one hand and 2 in the other! She said" you think I don't know how to polish?!?" Even the lady next to me look d at me like shocked at her rudeness. I should have yelled back but I just wanted to get out if that he'll hole chop shop! Omg I have never been treated so rudely. Not to mention her husband blew his nose didn't change his gloves and then came back to finish my nails. Passed around from person to person. This salon is the dirtiest place I have even been to. I made a complaint with the state board of cosmetology because I actually wanted to burn my hands off after letting them do my nails. When the nail tech pulled out her uv light the cure my gel polish the light itself was so dirty it looked like it had been coated in chewed gum. I did not touch any part of the light in fear of catching a disease or fungus. The entire salon was coated in a mix of nail dust and regular dust. When my service was finished she did not clean a single tool before using it on the next client. This place needs to be shut down. I will be contacting state board again just to follow up with my complaint. I have been inside gas station bathrooms and porta potty's that are cleaner than this salon. The owner is very clearly unprofessional from the way she keeps her salon to her explosive reactions to reviews. I would highly recommend against going here for any of your nail needs. read more

I have tried a TON of nail salons in Reno. After doing my research I decided to go and try La Belle nails and see how they did. Wendy did a wonderful job. I got gel nails to try them out since all I have had were acrylic. Let me tell you that gel nails last about twice as long and don't harm your nails like acrylic. I bring my own decals in and Wendy makes my nails look wonderful. I have finally found a nail salon that listens to you and is clean. Anyone looking for a great salon give this place a chance. I went in for a pedicure courtesy of my wonderful manager for a team building event. WHAT A GREAT TIME! They were so nice and they accommodated 9 of us and let us eat in n out in the chairs while we got our pedicures. :) Once I was done and was waiting for my co workers to finish up I realized i had enough time to get a manicure. They are just quick enough so you don't feel like you're spending your whole day there but you also feel relaxed and comfortable! The chairs massage you while getting your pedi! I went to La Belle Nails today in Reno NV and I was manipulated out of additional 15.00. I gave the phillipin0 worker 15.00 in cash only for her to approach me a few minutes later saying I gave her too much money, showing me a 20 & 5 .I had given her a 10 and a 5. The cost of polish change was 10.I wanted to be nice and give her 5 tip. This worker manipulated me into believing I gave her a twenty,instead of the 10 dollar bill I did give!! I even stopped and got exact change before going to La Belle nails! Please everyone who goes to La Belle Nails. Be very cautious, especially when paying in cash, ask for a receipt so this does not happen to you!! Very sad and dissapointed!! I need my nails done at the last second before I left for vacation I call them and they got me in an hour later. I had my toes painted for just $10 and then had a set of pink and wights put on. They where all really friendly and my nails came out really good. It is a good little place for the price. Got a gel mani here. One day later half of the polish chipped off one of my nails. I went back and they fixed it. But less than a week later, two more have chipped and look terrible. Some girlfriends and I decided to get pedis on a Saturday and were super happy that this place could get all three of us in at the same time. The atmosphere was quaint and to top it off, the actual pedicure experience was great, especially for the price of $30! well, I just went to this nail salon with a couple girlfriends. First of all, they were rude and made us feel very unwelcome. Secondly, they killed my hands. she started filing my nails before she cut them, making the process very painful. The third friend, (who was waiting her turn) witnessed what we were going through and decided Not to have hers done. When you go to get a manicure/pedicure, it should be a good experience. It's expensive and a "treat" for some of us. Places like this are convenient, but hardly worth the unfortunate experience. So I returned after 2 weeks to get one nail filled. I have a problem with my natural nail on my left thumb splitting down the middle, so until my natural nail grows strong enough I am having a gel coat laid on top of it. Anyways, I came to get a refill without an appointment. I was greeted by an older gentlemen, he never introduced himself nor was he wearing a name badge, who ended up doing my fill. Once he put the final top coat on and put my hand in the UV light, he got up and left. So I sat there. He didn't come back. The nail tech who was with a client in the next station to my right, took my hand out of the dryer, checked to see if the nail was dry and I paid her. Really? When you are dealing with a client, you could at least excuse yourself and then come back to finish your work. Did I interrupt his lunch time, or maybe he needed a potty break. Who knows? Never saw him again. So I paid the other tech 5.00 and left a 3.00 tip. I should have just paid and left, without leaving a tip or saying anything as that was the level of service I got. I went in for a removal of acrylic nails and a gel polish. The woman who did my nails was super rough on my hands and nails while she was filing my nails after removing my acrylics. She cut me twice near my cuticle on two different fingers by filing my nails too hard and not caring that she was filing my skin too. I flinched multiple times, but this didn't seem to have any affect on her filing, and she didn't apologize, though I was obviously bleeding from the small cuts. I usually don't go to this salon, but I wanted to get my nails done today and my usual salon was booked up. I will not be going back here, no matter how short of notice. read more

I am from California and I dropped in here for a full set and peti. I am never satisfied with a place unless they are clean, friendly, do a good job and and the work lasts. I have never had such a good experience! My nails looked better than I have ever had them, and they lasted 3.5 weeks while shooting, hiking and fishing! Not to mention I got a REAL massage on my pedicure! All of this for such a good price too. It's my birthday next week and all I want is to go back to Reno to get my nails done! I've been getting pedicures here for 10 years and they are one of the only places I know that keeps the polish from chipping off the end of my big toe within a week. But what I really love about them right now is that they are putting acrylic nails on my 9-year-old's nails to help her break the nail-biting habit and it is a great experience. I by no means am a pedicure buff, but I I would not recommend going here. Two pros: there basically was no smell of nail polish fumes inside, and the other woman who was working was quite pleasant and friendly and seemed to do a good, quality job. On the other hand, my nail tech was very abrasive and harsh, and was annoyed when I didn't move my feet in the right way. She was quite rough with the cuticle on one of my toes, and I noticed after the fact that she had cut a large section of it and was bleeding. She also kept getting up to do other things and touch other items in the salon without changing gloves - which was not hygienic at all. When I got home, I cleaned up my feet with alcohol and bandaged the bloody cuticle. As I was cleaning it up, I noticed she had done a very lousy job on the actual painting as well - more nail polish was on the skin around my little toe nail than was actually on my nail. The other thing I noticed opposed to other salons I have been to in the area is that they completely skip the top coat, and they don't ask if you like the color before continuing to paint all nails. Overall I am pretty disappointed in the experience, and will not be returning. read more
