    3 piece birria set

Quick and easy parking with pretty fast turnaround on food was great with a bunch of nagging kids waiting. Grabbed a half dozen of these birria tacos and they hit the spot. I wanted to try the spicy ones but they don't mix and match and I didn't want 3 spicy ones because they told me they're fire hot!. The menu isn't very extensive but they do come with legit flavor in every taco. A couple of youngsters running the stand were really nice and got the order out quick. Will return to share a 3 piece spicy one next time to see it they're really fire!

Authentic birria tacos. Consommé was perfect. Located in the parking lot next to Leonard's truck. Quick service- they give you a buzzer so you can wander off.

Did not expect these tacos to be this good. Tacos were made to order and had both the normal and hell fire. Will be back again!

I have had a lot of quesabirrias and this has been by far the best birria out their I wish it wasn't so far from home gonna definitely be coming back for more before I leave, really great customer service !!!!

Tacos are full of meat and flavor they're also cooked fresh when you order, so be prepared to wait but it's so worth it!

Ehhhh.. the tortilla is normally burned, good portion of meat in the tacos. Wish it came with some salsa, I still prefer Jenny's.

I thought tge kim chee was a good level if heat, but my friend could only eat 1 piece. We both ate a little more than half of everything & took home leftovers. I am not a fan if katsu (chicken or pork) because it tends to be oily, but I took a chance & so glad I did! Ayame's chicken katsu was not oily & it was crispy/crunchy. I also don't like katsu sauce (don't judge), so I ate it w/the gyoza dipping sauce I made & I was happy! I would like to try their curry & ramen on future trips. And I just saw, they have mapo tofu curry! That sounds interesting! One of my friend's roommate always gets the pineapple chicken katsu fried rice. I need to try that, too! See... many future trips! It's never been too busy when I've gone since it's always midday, after lunch and before dinner. The service is quick and I've never had to wait long at all to get my food. There were fly traps hanging from the ceiling, which was quite unpleasant to see while trying to eat. Strangely, the staff was mopping the floor right next to occupied tables during a busy late-night rush. The menus also smelled like a dirty bathroom; I couldn't hold mine for more than a minute without gagging. While the staff was quick and the food came out fast, the kitchen was disorganized. They forgot our miso soup and brought out edamame instead of the menma (bamboo shoots) we ordered. We had the gomoku ramen, spicy beef ramen, gyoza, lemon tea, a side of menma, and shrimp tempura udon. The gyoza and lemon tea were delicious, but they couldn't outweigh the negatives. According to my family, two out of the three soups tasted like dish soap. We were too exhausted after work to send them back, but it was honestly gross. To top it off, the single-stall unisex bathroom had that same foul odor. I wouldn't recommend Daiichi Ramen. Serving 'dish soap soup' is unacceptable in food service. You're better off heading to the nearby Burger King or Safeway for late-night eats.

I definitely recommend this spot if you're craving Japanese food!

My cousin's two kids love this place and insisted it has the best fried rice. I'm usually not a big fried rice person, but I was curious and tried it. I can see why people like it. I ordered the shrimp katsu ramen with a shoyu egg. The broth and noodles were excellent and really the highlight of the dish. I wasn't a huge fan of the shrimp katsu on its own since it was a bit chewy, but once it soaked in the broth, it was much better. The portion size was just right, filling without being too much. Overall, a solid ramen spot, especially if you're already in Kailua.

This is one of the most surprising food establishments I've ever been to…read more Why because it's about 40 minutes away in a rural area in Hawaii, in a strip mall and there's nothing else there in that strip mall that is of value. Then this establishment has no places to eat no dining tables no chairs it's just takeout only. Another thing that is very surprising. Is that when you order it takes about an hour to get your food and I find it surprising because people line up to order it and then they just wait outside in their cars or leave and come back or try to call it in and then wait longer and it's just one of those things where I can't believe how popular it is and how long it takes to get a meal and people are completely willing to drive out of their way and wait. Another surprising aspect is the price point. You are paying dine in restaurant semi mid upper level prices for items put in a takeout box. The only saving grace is that the food does taste good and it is a large portion size - so when you're leaving, you're literally carrying several pounds worth of food that could feed a whole family. I purchased three plates and the total was over $80. I called to order it in advance and it took 75 minutes until it was ready. Sorry I don't think this is 5-star value or should be noted as one of the best places to eat.
