Terrible. The cheapest, lowest quality meat, gave us both an instant stomach ache and was impossible to chew. Gross

Stopped in here to pick up Friday night dinner. I usually go drive through but wanted to take my time reviewing the menu. The restaurant is clean and bright, with lots of seating. You order at the counter. The smells emanating from the kitchen were so delicious, it took a minute to figure out what we should get. Decided on a family meal of a whole rotisserie chicken, fried rice, garlic potatoes, and of course fried plantains. Food was ready in no time and we took out to go order home. The chicken was perfectly cooked, and tender. Fried rice, potatoes and plantains were on point. Good neighborhood spot for a delicious meal.

I came here twice already, because I was craving some Peruvian food and specific the lomo saltado. Everytime I Go, I go through drive-through. The service is so bad and slow. I'm not sure what's going on.

Been looking for Peruvian Chicken I finally found an authentic place. I always get half chicken white meat only

Sloppy food melted through their cheap and u healthy styrofoam containers
    Nickole B.

People DO NOT eat here and if you do expect unfresh food and a BAD attitude when confronted. They give piping hot sauce thrown in styrofoam containers (cheap) for it to soak into your food and in my case melt completely through the container, where all the contents were alll over my bag. You have to wait for extended periods ... as they claim food is cooked to order but when you receive your order after waiting 25 to 30 min....the order is WRONG... why is it wrong??? ... ill tell you why because NO ONE in the restaurant speaks English and half of the time they have no idea what you are saying. So bad that they CHARGED MY CARD TWICE... and then when they realized the mistake GAVE ATTITUDE about that. I had to leave my home to return to the location to get my missing items and try to discuss the refund of the double charge. This is repeated and again when you try to get what you paid and waited for bad attitude. Extremely poor service at this location. No need for the store owner to make some blanket "we will do better comment" under my review ... your employees are rude and the food is overpriced and subpar

    Where's the sauce

THE ONLY REVIEW YOU NEED TO READ This place is a fraud. By no means should it be called " la brasa". If you're craving la brasa and haven't been to this location before just go eat something else. I got the beef stir fry and was given about 6 whole red onions and two pieces of beef. Just ridiculous. Oh and when I asked for the white sauce which is basically why people come here. The lady gave me a single container of sauce. How am I supposed to enjoy my 6 red onions with one container of sauce. Oh oh the sauce was nothing more than watered down mayonnaise and maybe 3 small grains of pepper thrown in there. Bland !

Best place for a decent "fast food" rotisserie chicken with Peruvian taste! I say fast food lightly because most Peruvian spots are only dining service but here you order at the counter and bring it yourself to the table. I come here once or twice a month to purchase the family meal at a good price of about $26. The chicken seasoning is so FLAVORFUL and JUICY. La Granja is another similar restaurant but the chickens here at La Brasa is comparably a lot more flavorful and juicy. We order the Rotisserie Chicken family meal with white rice and black beans (although there are other options including salad). And it's filling for 4 people to be able to share. 4 stars for the chicken alone that makes it a great meal - the sides are nothing special. We have gotten fried yuca here before and they were stale so I would not recommend. They have some house sauces and their orange sauce is very delicious! I dip my chicken in it! We usually do pickup order and items are nicely packaged. They have an app to make ordering quick! Find it on the App Store. As for dine in, perhaps it's because we've been through the pandemic but only once did I see a diner inside. This is not far from Sawgrass Mall so it's a good stop before or after, away from the main mall traffic.

This is my second in less than a week that I visited this restaurant. Last week the chicken was all old and burned that we had to take it back during the nasty rain storm we had . The changed the food without any issues and it was ok. Today we stopped by on the way home and the food was burned. The rice and vegetables were burnt. Some of the vegetables were still frozen. Two times in one week is unacceptable.

Foods good but I'm getting extremely upset with the customer service recently. The workers are super passive aggressive and catch and attitude if you don't know the menu perfectly. Recently I ordered a kids quarter chicken with Mac and cheese and they forgot the whole quarter chicken. Also asked for 2 of each sauce and they only gave 1. And the guy didn't give a receipt. Torn because their food is really good

I've been to my fair share of Peruvian places to grab a nice bite to eat of chicken, rice, beans and everything in between. The cool thing about this place is they have a drive thru. Another thing about La Brasa is their chicken is marinated so well that the flavor is out of this world and the food is always fresh and never seems like it's been sitting around waiting for a customer to order it. Some of my recommendations would be to maybe order a whole chicken to go to feed the family or if it's a business lunch then get one of the menu items but be forewarned... the garlic potatoes are where it's at... oh yes my friends you heard me right... you really want to try those... thank me later!

    1/2 chicken with two sides.
    Christian D.

Sometimes I do stupid things. Choosing to order from here is one of them. The prices are phenomenal, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. The 1/2 chicken had NO FLAVOR whatsoever, the yuca was clearly a frozen product that they reheated (and failed at as it was ice cold when I got it) and the mixed veggies were devoid of flavor as well. The side salad was more like a sad salad, a sliver or two of onion and a tomato. Hardly worth the money they charged. Super disappointed in everything. I will definitely not be ordering from there again.

Half chicken, rice, beans, and salad

Second time there and the food was still good. First time we dined in, it's like a fast food restaurant inside. Second time, we ordered at the drive through. I like their quarter chicken breast, cilantro rice, and tostones. I've also had the beans which was standard and good. I love their sauce station, so many sauces to choose from. I'm a saucy girl so I drench my food with the sauces. I like that they load you up with sauces even when you order from the drive through. This is a good option for when you don't feel like cooking and you want a fairly healthy meal. The rotisserie chicken is definitely on point! The service was good and the food is even better. Next time, I'm looking forward to trying their yucca fries and their lomo Saltado! It's in a convenient location right off of Oakland Park Blvd and Hiatus Rd. Check it out!

I had a great time the first time, and yep it's still that girl. Let's talk about the vibe real quick. The ambiance is everything. Modern, and just really well put together. From the furniture textures to the contrast in colors it all feels super intentional but still chill. Like, they knew what they were doing when they designed this place. 10/10 on the setting alone. Let's get down to the items shall we? What We Had Drinks ____________________ + Naori Signature Drink ($15) : 8.4/10 This one's made with Pisco Berries and Triple Sec. It's a layered, fruity cocktail that's a little more complex. Personally, I prefer the Pisco Sour it's cleaner and more balanced for my taste. But if you like citrusy and berry-forward drinks, you might love this one. Again, these are my reviews based on my taste buds. You might feel differently and that's ok honey. + Espresso Martini ($16) : 9/10 Strong, chocolatey, and gets the job done. + Lychee Martini ($16) : 8.6/10 Clean and balanced. Not too sweet, just smooth and refreshing + Pisco Sour ($16) : 10/10 My fave. Fruity, with this nice cold foam on top. Pretty sure there were peach or passionfruit notes in there. So good. * Shots - We also did a round (Don Julio, I think), and it kept the vibe going. Appetizers/Entrees __________________ +Nikkei Tiradito ($19) : 10/10 Thin tuna slices with a shouyu sauce that had a little citrusy kick. I could've had another plate just for myself. +Grilled Octopus ($20) : 8.4/10 This was good! Cooked well, had a nice char. Not my favorite thing on the table, but still strong comes with Peruvian corn and potato. +Arroz Chaufa Special ($24) : 10/10 Babyyy this dish was everything. Wok-fried rice, perfectly seasoned. That filet was so tender, and the shrimp just brought it all together. Easy standing ovation for me. * Dessert - I honestly can't remember what we ordered for dessert, but it was decent. Nothing crazy. I'd give it a 7/10. Overall Experience: 10/10 Customer Service: 10/10 Would I Be Back? Without a doubt. I even told my mom about this place and I think she went a couple months ago! When the three of us got there around 6 p.m. on a Wednesday, we were the only ones in the dining room. Our friend is going with my husband and I to Peru in October but has never had Peruvian food. So, we decided to bring her along to try her first Peruvian dishes. We ordered a ceviche entree and potatoes with cheese sauce for appetizers. The ceviche was good, with thinly sliced, well-soaked pieces of fish. My friend thought the cheese sauce on the potatoes was spicy; we did not. In fact, I thought the potatoes were kind of bland and that the sauce was a positive addition. Then, we three shared the Peruvian roasted chicken, the pollo saltado, and the chicken fried rice. The roasted chicken was fine. Nothing stellar. The fried rice was very salty, and was the least palatable of all the food we ate. We barely got through half of the entree. The pollo saltado was very good and the best of all the entrees. The restaurant charges a 4% surcharge for using a credit card. So, I gave the waitress my debit card. Nevertheless, she came back and had taken the credit card amount which included an extra 4% from my debit card and didn't understand that taking money from my debit card was like getting cash. And there was nothing I could do to explain that a debit card had no charges. Dinner for 3 with 1 appetizer, 4 entrees, 2 cans of soda, tax, and tip was $109. I would add a half star just because service was excellent. The server was pleasant and very amicable. The chef even came out to inquire how we liked the food. (Though, when we told him about the salty fried rice. He didn't seem to have a response.)

From the jump, everything hit. The appetizers came out fast and piping hot. Their nachos platter is gigantic! Drinks? Ice cold and on point. The salad was huge, fresh and flavorful. And let's talk about that dolphin francais--absolutely incredible. Mahi-Mahi with a delicious lemon butter sauce. Ribs are tender and tasty. But what really surprised me? The sweet potatoes. Hands down the best I've ever had. No exaggeration. And don't leave without getting the rolls--they're a must. Oh, and yes... they have happy hour (starting at just $5.99). You really can't beat that. Martini was perfect and beer was cold and tasty too. Now here's the insider tip: ask for Sherry. Seriously--best waitress we've ever had. I ordered a pisco sour that was perfectly made. My appetizer was a fish and shrimp ceviche: the leche de Tigre was soooo fresh and well balanced, I absolutely loved it. Main course I was pleasantly surprised to see there was an option of a plate with half tallarines verdes and half lomo saltado (the menu says "steak" and you can choose how you'd want it); I've never seen this kind of split-a-plate before so I thought I'd be perfect because you get to try two things, it's a great value. Both the tallarines and the lomo were flavorful. I just wished there was some way to keep the juices from the lomo away from the tallarines because at the bottom of the plate the pasta tasted like lomo, not like pesto hahaha -still, yummy-. Against by best judgement and my capacity I ordered dessert and the dulce de leche was a little too sweet for me (I couldn't finish it) but I ordered a coffee too, that helped. The staff was on point; I loved they were always checking on us (and the place was almost full) and I also noticed they use intercoms so they are always making each other aware of what a table needs. The owner (or manager, not sure) is very sweet and greeting all customers. The bar service seems to be tons of fun, I noticed a few couples having drinks and enjoying the evening. The music was 80s-90s: I truly enjoyed it. I definitely will be coming back. I recommend!

Specifically waited in the area until they opened this morning to try their coffee in hopes of a unique Peruvian blend. Upon entering I felt that this location could have been a Quik Stop as a past business. The market was on one side next to a clean spacious dining area with several tables surrounded by green plants with a full wall cooler of bottled and canned drinks. The kitchen was positioned on the left where the echoes of food prep were evident. The owner greeted me and offered a menu and proudly explained that all the food is authentic Peruvian cuisine and cooked fresh per order. The Iberital Junior espresso machine behind the FL Lotto dispensor caught my undivided attention and requested an espresso. He informed me that its going to be a while since the machine was just turned on and needs to heat up. My brief confused stare was evident. I'm taking into account that the market opened at 9am, which was twenty minutes ago. Browsed through the Peruvian market products and saw huge olives and peppers but then realized there were no prices listed, nor on any other item. OK, at this point, I purchased FL Lotto tickets and left still thirsty. Upon leaving, I did my due diligence and double checked that the large steaming cup of coffee was still on the front of the building, and it was. My odd unimpressed experience today was hopefully rare to the business. Will return to try the coffee and some of their cuisine, just maybe way after the 9am opening time - in a hopeful quest to raise my current 2.5 star rating.

They also have this deli/restaurant portion inside with some tables and chairs. They have most of the Peruvian classics, including PERU tamales, Peruvian empanadas, Papa rellena, Papa a la huancaina , and some Peruvian style pastries, and desserts. You can eat it right there at table service or take it to go. It's located in a small plaza with only a couple parking spaces shared with some office building. It's not an elevated date night spot but more of a quick casual bite that is worth checking out. They've been around for years. I remember coming here when I was small before they renovated the inside. Service was kind.
