Anna has done an amazing job on my feet twice now. I got a design for the first time on a whim, and she did beautiful work. It was so amazing to watch her work and make the design. Totally worth $5. I get a spa pedicure which ranges from (I think) $20 to $35 depending on the services and length of massage you want. They use all OPI polishes and my last pedicure lasted over a month in great condition. When I went back for the next one I requested Anna again. I love this place. read more

Absolutely in love with this place! Been going here for years but I moved to chino 2 years ago and stopped going. Was in Fullerton today and decided to go back and get a full set. These people are the best!!! Staff are friendly! I had to get my nails done soooo last minute for an event the next day, so I called up a couple nail salons near my house, but they were all closed or replied "closing now, come back tomorrow" (which I found out later was a lie cuz some actually closed 45min later). Anyways....I finally started searching outside of my city and saw the high ratings on Generation Nail Salon, so I called them up to see if they were open. I spoke with a man and learned that they were going to close in 30 min. I asked how long it would take to get acrylics with french tips done (havent got my nails done in a while), and he said 35min. He heard my expression of disappointment and asked how long it would take me to get there, and I told him 15 min. He said not a problem! We can do your nails! Now that's good service! So i got there 15min before it closed and was greeted by a nice man named Justin. He was willing to do my nails, and I'm assuming was the guy I spoke with earlier. Justin was great! I havent done my nails in sooo long, so I had to describe to him what I didnt want. Justin very patiently listened to all my requests and helped me figured out what i was looking for -- Medium-short narrow french tip acrylics with clear gel. Price was not bad either ($25 french tip acrylics without cuticle cutting) Believe it or not all that took some time, especially when trying to get the right length of the tips. I thought Justin would rush through my nails since i arrived so close to closing, but nevertheless he was very careful with my nails and took his time, kindly asking me periodically whether my nails were looking exactly how I wanted them to look! He never did rush through the process and we ended up finishing 30min after closing time! How did my nails turn out? We'll I'm very pleased!! Thank you Justin for your kindness, hard work, and service!! Will definitely be coming back! Small talk. Do you have kids? Yes, here's a picture. She scoffed at my kids LOL! Do you have kids? Yes, yadda yadda yadda, she then proceeds to tell me how she has 2 children, she only wanted 1, tried to abort #2 but the Dr. was catholic so he wouldn't do it.... I can't make this stuff up people!!! So unprofessional, so disturbing, so not okay. I will never go back, I do not suggest this place to anyone, I regret going. It's been a few years since I got my last manicure/pedicure so I was really looking forward to some pampering. I came here after some research and decided to get my nails done after my last final of the school year. BIG MISTAKE! The staff wasn't very friendly and they did a poor job on my nails. I originally picked white to color my nails and it turned out clumpy and bumpy. When I asked if there was any way they could fix it, they accused me of having bumpy nails! REALLY?! They finally decided to redo my nails...I was already fed up and didn't want to be late for my next appointment, but they refused to give me my money back or a discount. I ended up painting my nails red because they said that white would be and extra charge. So not only did they waste my time but they wanted to charge me extra. I wasn't aware of any charges in the first place! I was very polite the whole time and didn't look aggravated just to see if they would remedy their mistakes. Jenny had to redo my nail. This may sound odd, but this shop has great sentimently meaning to me. In was able to get my mother out of the bed/house very, very seldom due to her severe orthopedic issues. With greatest care an patience Anna and Jennifer would help my Mother up into the pedicure chair, where she would receive a podiatrist level pedicure and manicure. This might been done two or three times a year. Well, the last time Mother had gone in, they offered to give my VERY MODEST Mother some super sweet flowers ok n her toes....mother was known for her LOVE affair with the color "PINK" and these were done in pink and white. Within two weeks my would ly dead in a St Jude hospital room. COMPLETELY unexpected...she had gone in with localized, mild case of celulitous...after not receiving her proper pain medication, (30 hours) she went into cardiac arrest from the withdrawals..... Now here is the point....the ONLY sweet, thing left of Mother, when we arrived at a horribly, "trashed" room ,with our mothering looking nothing like herself....well, THE ONLY thing that made my Mother seem like herself were THOSE PRETTY TOENAILS.! I told you was odd, be the fact the celulitous was on her lower left leg nd so, with all the focus on that area, it was so special to know there was SOMETHING representative of who she was in life and not just this anonymous, generic body without family or friends with her at her death. This happened in March of 2013 and I haven't been able to go back to Generation Nails since... They had a bad fire during that time but are back now....I think I'm going to get back this week....regardless of that memory. read more

Not only they have no skills they will cut your fingers intentionally and pour peroxide on the bleeding cut brutally without any notice if you ever express you are not happy with the way do the nails. I'm a fan! I was delighted by my visit. The place is clean, the staff is friendly, prices are affordable and I'm going on two weeks with my pedicure and no chips yet! The young woman that did my pedicure was very fast, but she did a great job. I was surprised that this place didn't smell like chemicals. I even commented to the woman that was doing my pedicure. I had just read an article in the NYT about the poor conditions in some nail salons and the side effects to the workers. She said that the owner really cares about all of them and has all the trash with chemicals put outside so the place doesn't smell. The workers wear gloves too. They offer 4 different options for pedicures starting from $15 for the regular pedicure. That's pretty decent for the nice massage chairs. I went one level up (+$5) for the wax that is supposed to make your feet softer. I appreciate that they didn't try to up-sell me and they were very kind to my young daughter while she waited. read more

When I was new to the Brea area and was driving around trying to find a nail salon I stumbled upon Generation Nails. I couldn't be happier! Since then I have recommended all my friends and family if they are in the area. The staff is very friendly and they all perfom honest work. They take their time and don't try to rip off people by selling them different things. They will only do extra if you ask for it or they really think you need something. I think it's very neat that they actually remember so many of their customers names, including mine. I feel at home when I visit them and recommend this nail salon to all! read more

Not the worst gel nails ever. Done by Tiffany then the owner because he had to takeover. The manicure portion was fine but she filed the nail surface and didn't refine it so that the nail surface was very rough. When she started to apply polish I made her aware of this and let her know that I didn't want bubbles surfacing. She told me that it had to be like that otherwise the polish wouldn't stick. What??? I have had gel nails for years and let her know that it wasn't true. She would polish the nail put it under the UV light then apply more polish, while popping the surfacing bubbles, then adding more polish. When the owner took over he preceded to pop all of the bubbles that were surfacing as her polished my nails. Then he kept piling on polish to try to cover the bubbles. Three coats of nail polish and two of clear polish. Then he said he had to touch up a nail and put more polish over the clear coat. The result? An ugly lumpy manicure. He told that he would only charge half because I was unhappy then added $5 for taking off the original gel coat. Everywhere that I have ever had a gel coat polish, removing the old polish was part of the charge, not an additional charge. Jackie did my feet, she did a good job. I tipped her. One thing that I didn't like was that as I was getting worked on, people would come in and ask how much the gift certificates for a spa pedicure were. It was the day before Mother's Day. They kept quoting the most expensive one ($27.00) they have three options, ($20, $25, $27.00), but didn't bother telling people. That didn't sit well with me. I will not return because I do not trust the integrity of the owner. Maybe I went on a bad day, try them out for yourself. Many people have written positive reviews, so they can't be all bad.
