    Taco Tuesday Special

Game day, it was game 4 of the world series and since it was also taco Tuesday, why not pick a place that has the game on and enjoy some delicious street taco! $1.69 taco Tuesday street tacos, not bad! They have Asada, Carnitas, El Pastor, and Chicken. You gotta try with their in house avocado sauce, more flavor! Have a sweet tooth afterwards? They have churros in which you can also get with ice cream as well. Definitely a hidden gem and small local family owned place! Service was great!

I stumbled upon this small restaurant by luck. I'm not sure what time they open but we walked in at about 9:20am and it wasn't crowded for a Saturday morning!!! Our server was very nice and polite, I ordered the Huevos Rancheros and it exceeded my expectations !!! Very flavorful and authentic, nothing tasted like it came from a can. I also loved that the portion wasn't overwhelming as I hate to waste food. They do bring out some chips and spicy salsa. As we started to leave, I noticed it was getting busy inside. The parking lot is not too big so it might be an issue finding parking during the busy times. I would love to come back and try the molcajete !!! They also serve beer

Definitely Norconian decor. Ay yai yai!

We have had mixed feelings about 4 Serranos. Our first time was rushed because we arrived too close to closing. The customer service was practically non- existent that time around. But the tamale was quite nice. I discovered that their version of a wet chile verde tamale was my idea of perfection. Moist, and well filled! The Chile verde was bright, slightly spicy, very meaty. The lengua platter was decent also. However, our return visit was a big fail. We chose other regular items on the menu, including a chile verde plate, expecting the same results, only to be disappointed. The meal was so lack-luster, we decided against returning. But. Just looking at that picture of my meaty tamale gives me a gentle push in their direction. Not too many places offer tamales that look that plump and fine. For now, a 3 star is the best I can offer until I test out the tamales again.

Straight off the bat the service was amazing. My husband and I were enthusiastically greeted as soon as we walked through the door. From the moment we sat in that booth we were taken care of with attentive care. Service was served with a smile and kindness from start to finish. The menu prices are fair and they have so many options to choose from. I ordered the Chile relleno ... and OH MAN. It was delicious. Absolute heaven. The flour tortillas on the side were soft, warm and delicious. The beans and rice were flavorful and very tasty. The side salad was refreshing and classic. My husband ordered the carne asada quesadilla and a side of guacamole. He absolutely loved it. They were very generous with the carne asada and the cheese. The guacamole was flavorful and the perfect addition to an already great meal. The inside is clean and the overall vibe is welcoming and perfectly "Norco". I'm so thankful we found 4 Serranos. Today is st. Patrick's day ... and man we were lucky to have had such an awesome experience.

We ate here for the first time Saturday and it was so delicious. The employees were welcoming and friendly and got us a table right away. Our waitress had some great recommendations. I had the chili rellenos and the Albondigas soup. They both were so flavorful. My husband had the barbacoa plate and it also was yummy. They have fresh homemade corn tortillas and good chips and salsa. It's a cute, little place tucked in next to the 7-11. You might miss it if you don't pay attention. We will definitely be back.

Naturally, I turned it into a Friday‑afternoon surprise after running the kind of errands that make adulthood feel like a sport. From the moment we walked up, the place had us at hello: outdoor dining with its own bar, vibrant murals, Mexican décor for days, and that classic mission‑style ambiance that screams you're about to eat well. It was a whole vibe. Now, the hostess... bless her heart. She greeted us with the enthusiasm of someone being forced to work on a holiday, which was not exactly the warm welcome we hoped for. But then Angela, our waitress and resident ray of sunshine, swooped in and saved the day. She recommended the flauta, which arrived with a level of spice my taste buds immediately filed a complaint about. Angela didn't miss a beat and had the kitchen remake it to suit my bland little palate. Overall, it was a genuinely great experience, and we'll definitely be stopping by again. This was our family's first time dining at Rodrigo's, and we chose the restaurant to celebrate my nephew's 20th birthday. Unfortunately, the service we received from our server, Christina V., was disappointing and took away from what we hoped would be a special experience. When I asked Christina if the restaurant did anything for birthdays, she simply replied, "Just flan," and walked away. She never asked whose birthday it was, whether we would like the flan, or if I wanted her to put in a birthday request. I was surprised by the lack of interest or effort, especially since I was clearly asking because we were celebrating someone at our table. Throughout our meal, Christina was not very welcoming, engaging, or hospitable. At times, it honestly felt as though our table was a nuisance or that she had some sort of issue with us. We weren't expecting anything extravagant, just friendly service and a little acknowledgment that we were there celebrating a special occasion. Despite our experience, we still left Christina a 20% tip because we believe in tipping our servers. However, we left disappointed by her attitude and lack of effort in helping make my nephew's birthday lunch feel even a little special. The food may bring people into a restaurant, but the service is a big part of what makes families want to return. Unfortunately, for our first visit to Rodrigo's, the hospitality was lacking, and that was disappointing.
