We were in the area and stopped by for a quick lunch. It was a hot weekday afternoon, and it wasn't busy at all. We were able to walk up and make our order for some Baja nachos and street tacos since there was a special going on for them. We got seated and were able to grab utensils and so forth, and the area itself (along with the tables) were all nice and clean. Our order was ready pretty quickly and we were able to start eating. The street tacos were really good and had a good amount of toppings. The Al pastor and carne asada meat was really good. The nachos were also really good and loaded. The only thing is that the chips got soggy really fast because they were so loaded, so I'd recommend going with fries unless you plan on sharing the nachos to eat super quick. This is definitely a great spot in the area to stop by! read more

I've been once and want to return to try some different items. Last time I was turned off my grilled shrimp taco by tge guy in the booth across from me cutting his toenails. Fish Tacos are always good here. The battered fish is crispy and fresh. The potato tacos are delicious as well. The potato taco has a special that you can add a medium drink for $1 more. That's a pretty good deal considering what drinks are going for nowadays. They have both red and green salsas, both of which are good, but the green one is always the best. Not the usual experience you get at other LA Bufadora's. The don't provide the grill bell peppers that others do, in the fish tacos, they are stingy on meat in the fish tacos, Instead they put coleslaw, and the grilled peppers to go along side are always over processed. read more

The food just has so much flavor. It's so good. I wouldn't get the nachos again. They just hard to eat without getting messy. They are definitely loaded so they get soggy. Everything I have tried on this menu, from the tacos to the drinks are great. My personal favorite is the shrimp cocktail with great flavor and a big enough serving to feed any appetite. Any tacos you get are great. Plus, the chile gueros they give you along side their tacos are delicious every time. The service is a 4 out of 5 but that just depends on who is taking your order. I've been a loyal customer at la bufadora for years. And they've slowly become more and more of the rip off. I use to get the whole family meals from here up until today. First they made the food contain less and less meat. Now They cut down the size of tortas and burritos by 25 percent and added fries. (Nasty fries). Feel betrayed after years of buying from this franchise. I'm 30 and the first time I stopped at a bufadora I was 16... 14 years of loyalty not caring if it was a little more expensive than the next taco shop. But too much is too much. read more

Similiar to a fast food restaurant inside where you order at the counter then sit down. IT TOOK US 40 MINUTES TO GET OUR FOOD! Unacceptable. Other in the restaurant were pissed as well. Total chaos behnd the counter with the employees. Carne Asada Fries were pretty good. The fries were well cooked and didn't get soggy. The meat was just ok but was better when mixed in with everything else. Carnitas didn't have much flavor but wasn't too fatty either. Fish tacos was ok as well. Great service and excellent food! The potato tacos are really good as well as the battered shrimp tacos, and grilled shrimp tacos! I've also had a burrito from here really good as well! Ceviche is really good as well. I wish they cooked the ceviche and lime juice. I feel like they just use cooked shrimp and mix it with ceviche ingredients. I came here a couple of times for menudo. Weekend menudo is awesome. Great seafood selection like you'd get in baja. I would always do the shrimp ceviche or the salad with fish. Also the burritos are huge. The salsa bar is to die for. Yes this town is packed with Mexico food but this one really shines. The ceviche was good but something was missing, not sure what but it tasted good but could tell the shrimp wasn't the freshest. The asada was dry but the fries were crispy and good. The burrito was small to begin with, but they loaded that sucker with so much pico de gallo, rice, and beans that there wasn't much room left for the actual carne asada. And it was bland. Carne asada is supposed to have some flavor folks! Now, the shrimp ceviche was at least plentiful, but it was dry as a bone! You couldn't pay me to visit this place again.
