I've been to all three LA Burger locations but this is my favorite by far due to it being spacious, well-lit and aesthetically pleasing with its modern decor. The customer service and food is on par with the standards LA Burger had set for all of its locations (i.e. friendly and attentive customer service and delicious burgers, especially if you're looking for a veggie burger option, which is my usual here). I'm a creature of comfort so I usually go for burger and sweet potato fries but I've heard that their kimchi fries and tacos are popular. read more

We placed a phone order for a couple of psychedelic burgers, a side salad, an El Jefe, and onion rings. We requested shakes but the order taker said that they did not have any ice cream to make the shakes. The order was ready when we arrived for pickup. The burgers were compacted with plenty of ingredients, tasty and filling. The onion rings were average. The mixed side salad was a generous portion and fresh. I tried the rice bowl with chicken which comes with jasmine rice, kimchi, mayo?, egg, sesame seeds, chopped iceberg lettuce and a gochujang-type sauce. I really like this new LA Burger location! It's bright, open, spacious, and food is fantastic, which is consistent with all of their other locations. We stopped by for a quick weekday dinner and left full and happy. The girl at the cash register was super sweet and friendly, and the manager (I'm guessing?) stopped by our table later on to make sure everything was to our liking. Husband almost always orders the LA Burger with a fried egg on top, which is delish. I had the Three Strikes burger, which is a turkey burger and is oh so good. Now hear me out! Yes, this is a 'healthier' choice, but it's certainly not lacking in the flavor department. The turkey patty is well seasoned, and it's served with thick slices of avocado on top. That in combination with their amazing hamburger buns, which I believe are Hawaiian bread-style, is SO good. The slight sweetness from the bread goes fantastically well with the turkey and avocado. If you're not feeling a burger, I highly recommend the dejigogi tacos as well. My absolute favorite thing on the menu though is the K-Fries. I love that they use shoestring fries (my fry philosophy? the crispier the better) and are very generous with the toppings (sauce, cheese, kimchi, and bulgogi). I've been wanting to try this place for a while now and I'm SO glad I was finally able to! We weren't super hungry, so the hubs and I split the K Town burger and added cheddar cheese with a side of k style fries. Normally I wouldn't be a fan of a $4 upcharge to make my fries so fancy, however, these are a MUST! Soooo much flavor and could be a meal in itself! The burger was delicious too and it was all plenty of food for the two of us to get full and leave a few scraps behind. The employees were very friendly and helpful and the restaurant was clean. LA Burger legit reminds me of LA. They got Asian fusion down right. The vibe to the food to the people serving. I've tried a few things on the menu. I'm kind of the stick with what works kind of gal, so I've stuck with the few that I've tried, but I will say that everything I've tried has been good and everyone I've brought has been pleased with their choices. I've come to the conclusion that you can't go wrong with anything on their menu. If you're coming to LA Burger, here's a couple things to keep in mind: - Don't order the kimchi fries unless you really want something overloaded. I'm not a fan of loaded fries, and prefer to actually taste the fries, not just the meat and sauce on top, so I wasn't a fan of the kimchi fries. - The curly fries are better than the string fries here. The curly fries aren't too greasy either - The buns are great here, but tend to get a little soggy if you order one of the burgers with a lot of sauce, like the K Town or the LA - Don't order the Seoul dog unless you really like meat. It's packed with it For what it is, I really like LA Burger. I'm from Austin, where Chi'lantro was born, so I was skeptical about trying another Korean fusion spot, but LA burger is pretty good. The burgers are cooked pink, meaning they are super juicy and flavorful, and the kimchi actually compliments the burger really well. I'd recommend trying the K Town first, because the LA Burger is a bit overkill. If you're looking for a burger spot and want something better than fast food, come here. Ok, I have passed this burger joint probably 200 times on my way to and from work and never popped in. I saw "L.A. Burger" on the sign and thought to myself, another place claiming to make a good burger and dragging LA' s burger reputation down by selling trash burgers.
