Atmosphere and coffee is always good. My daughter always likes the waffle. I normally get the frittata, which is always usually quite good. This one was really not quite great. I like to have a lot of vegetables with the salmon that are roasted. In this case, it was just these huge quarter-size chunks or bigger of sun-dried tomato, which completely overwhelmed it and was super greasy because of the olive oil and salty. Was not a fan today. Also, the potatoes usually look like rustic potatoes. They don't look like something from Sigma or Cisco that they just threw in the fryer. Service is always good and friendly. Our family of 3 went in for brunch and had a really delicious meal. The Chipotle Steak & Queso Hash had a good amount of steak pieces and our daughter loved the black beans. It was really tasty. The Banana Brittle French Toast was also a delight and gave us the perfect sweet bites to complement the hash. Service was fine but nothing to write home about. We would go back for the yummy food. So, today on a nasty muggy humid day I came in and sat at the bar and the manager comes to open the big windows to the outside. I told the waitress to please make mine today go. I didn't bring my dog so I can sit inside and not have to be in that at all. This location is becoming my least favorite place to come. I suggest the belt line location if you like First Watch but want to be well taken care of for sure. read more

Went there for a quick breakfast and left faster than I could eat. From the start it felt like we weren't liked by our server, whatever we ordered and she wouldn't help us find what we were looking for. Pointed to menu took order and left. Not friendly at all towards us colored family. I sent my avocado toast back because it tasted sour and strong and my baby couldn't eat it and I couldn't. I asked for a small oatmeal for the baby and she said they didn't have one. I asked for a kids menu because we didn't get one and there it was a kids oatmeal. Whatever the manager came over and apologized. At that point we lost our appetite, server wouldn't just suggest anything to help us find what we are looking for and we felt like we were bothering her so we left. We're honestly easy people and I'm a server also and would never treat my customers like I don't want there tip! I seldom review but this deserves higher than current average rating. There are so many breakfast/lunch restaurants but this is a favorite. My favorite so far are the banana pancakes. I wasn't overly impressed with avocado toast. There was actually to much avocado (smashed) for me without other ingredients or spices. I've been twice and service good both times. Was seated quickly, waitress at table almost immediately after sitting, not long wait for food and waitress attentive during meal. I was there during week both times so all may be slower during weekend rush. Interior bright and attractive. Outside seating looks nice when more moderate temps. read more

It was basically a very small breakfast burrito with queso sauce. The flavor was good but if you're expecting a deep fried chimichanga that's not what it is. For $15 I thought it was a little pricey. Went with my wife and 2 young kids. We walked out after it had been more than 10 minutes without anyone ever coming to our table. At one point I walked over to the host stand that was only a few feet away and in clear view of us with around 5 staff members chatting the whole time and asked if we had a server. The host was disinterested with our issue. They were well staffed and only 3 or 4 other tables were sat at the time. We took our business to Awake which is basically next door. When they first opened in this location, the servers were on their best behavior because lots of corporate trainers were onsite. Now that the trainers have left. I've seen their true colors. Spotty service ranging from really good to really bad. No management seen. Expensive and vegan. I give it 6 months before they close down. read more

People come after us no reservation and get seated right away instead of being put on the waitlist.
