    El jefe

This location was the first place I ate in Texas when I visited my friend (before I moved here from NYC) so this place has a spot in my heart. I was blown away by the size, flavor profile, textures and theme of a Korean burger. I've had several of their burgers and they are always fantastic! In this instance I got the El jefe and the crunch bacon with the avocado and thick patty all together was absolutely delicious The street theme decorations and blend of Korean culture makes this place a slam dunk. The staff are friendly and accommodating as well!

I had a random craving for LA Burger and decided to stop by the Carrollton location today. I used to frequent the one in Richardson back in college and I am glad that the food still tastes just as good as a few years ago. My favorite burger to get here is the holy smokes which is a cheeseburger with bacon, onion rings, and bbq sauce. I love their onion rings but could never finish a full order of onion rings so this is perfect for me. Their buns are reminiscent of a giant Hawaiian roll as it is slightly sweet and it goes well with the burger. This location had plenty of seating and a bar area. It feels a little awkward walking in as you are facing the register from across the room when you walk in but there is spacious seating. It is located in the plaza across from hmart so the area is a little quieter. This would be a nice and chill place to catch up with a friend or even to eat alone.

Had a great experience at this location. Manager was very friendly and gave helpful feedback on what to order. LA burger came out piping hot. It is huge and love how seasoned the patty is and how egg adds an extra dimension. Bun doesn't get soggy with all the juices either. String fries were very crispy and seasoned well. They have Stubborn Soda in the dispensers and it is amazing. Use natural sugar so it tastes more natural. Thursday's you get a free soda with your meal so a great day to go. Will be back!

Awesome place. Great food. Clean establishment. Ordered the LA Burger, Seoul Dog and kimchi fries and it was all great tasting and fresh. My LA Burger's egg was over done, so it wasnt runny. Only gripe was the restrooms where rather smelly-ish

Burger is higher quality and ordering the fries (K-style) is a must! The service was great too! They were patient with us and gave great recommendations.

Wonderful place to enjoy the juiciest burger in the area- super super friendly faces. The woman working up front went through a plethora of options and was incredibly patient. I had my little buddies with me so she was great at recs for kids options. They also have free soft drinks on Thursday- What! Yes! Score! The soda and tea options were on point! I'm pretty sure they had a pineapple cream- yes, queen- more like Pineapple dream! So yummy! We ordered a smattering of options, cheeseburgers, tater tots, fries and onion rings- I thought we could all share but the littles ate all mine and weren't too happy about sharing- wow, sheesh. Dang, diss. Very impressive food and service. We will be back- also, for all that good it was under $30- come on, you can't get a deal like that anywhere!!!!! Thank you, LA burger!

Kitchen closed at 8:40pm tonight. We were eating in store because we had to come earlier and went to go get another item before we left and they shut down the kitchen really early stating no more orders could be placed . Is this policy? Barely any sauce on tacos

This was my first time dining here, and everything was perfect! The restaurant was clean, with many seating options, and the food came out quickly. The burger melted in my mouth, and the K-style fries were saucy, spicy, and crispy until the last bite. Everything seemed reasonably priced, so I'll have to try more soon!

Seriously some of the best burgers I have ever had. They are so juicy and packed with flavor. They really do season it well. I also love their onion rings. They're big and crunchy and a great choice for a side. Fast service and so reasonably priced. Clean spot and you seat yourself.

Been driving by this place for nearly year and finally decided to step up. I was really craving a burger. This place is phenomenal! I got the Cali Burger on a West Coast Burger setup on suggestion of the cashier. And the K-Style fries. The burger was outstanding, perfectly runny egg, potato bun was a nice touch. Great flavor. K Fries were unique and super good and the cilantro brought it all together. All around 10/10. I grabbed my food to go so I didn't have an opportunity to dine in but it looked like a chill spot with bottled beers available. Definitely going to try the rest of the menu and keep this place in my repertoire.

Well my fiancé is addicted to burgers and I actually didn't want a burger this time lol so I went with the curly fries and got them Tx style- basically chili cheese as you see with onions and jalapeños! The chili cheese fries were gooooddddddd. I ended up adding more cheese though and mustard and ketchup on top! I like that their chili didn't have beans! I will definitely order these again as a side lol My fiancé got the Cali sunshine burger and the Oreo crumb. They loved their burger and said it was one of thes best seasoned burgers they've had. They also said they shake was a bit disappointing but that it could be due to travel, they just felt it wasn't blended that well. The shake tasted ok to me but I wanted more Oreo for sure! All in all not a bad place and we do plan to actually try them again though and see if we like a few other menu items.

The Russian/Thousand Island dressing is so good. (4 STARS for the appetizer only) Pasta the presentation was great. However, today someone in the kitchen was heavy handed on the seasoning and it was super salty. The taste was not good. Seeing that I have had it multiple times I won't criticize it as much and chalk it up as a one off. Drinks: The Frosé is so refreshing. It's a cold slushie perfect for a warm summer day. The food is consistently excellent. We went for dinner on a Saturday night (reservations are highly recommended). The wife had the chicken as a main entree. It was outstanding. The chicken was smoky, tender, and moist. It has a bevy of vegetables that are cooked perfectly. It comes with a side and she got the baked potato with everything. She loved everything about this entree. For me, it was an easy decision. I LOVE their wedge salad and started with that. The price has gone up a bit but it remains outstanding. For some reason, the waiter gave me a small but it was fine. The small in 2026 is $7.99 and the regular size is now $11.99. For my entree, I ordered from the appetizer menu and got the crab cake. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the crab cake. It has to be the best in Dallas. It is one half pound of pure crab meat, no filler. The price has gone up to $26.99 so it is not cheap, but it is outstanding quality. The cake was perfectly cooked and the crab was sweet. It comes with three dips but to me, I want to taste the crab so I did not use them. The kid had the old fashioned fries and devoured them. Our server, Mark, was attentive and efficient. Service was excellent as usual. Overall, this is one of the best restaurants in Dallas and IMO the best in the line of Kenny's restaurants. We started with drinks, which were really good, and I loved the cool, puffy bread they bring to the table! My husband and I ordered the crab cake and tenderloin appetizers. The crab cake was okay, but it wasn't super flavorful to me. The tenderloin appetizer, though, was AMAZING! I made a reservation in advance requesting a booth (since it's a tad quieter) so we could visit and have a nice long lunch having driven so far to meet up and celebrate. We were sat at a table - right next to a very large group and it was so loud we couldn't hear anything we said to each other, I asked the hostess why we were sat at a table and no effort was made to rectify the issue. My husband and I have both made reservations and table requests in the past and have never had an issue. The spot is usually held for us. And the hostess did say she saw my request on the reservation- apparently just ignored it. Then came our server. Bless her for trying but serving at a restaurant is NOT her gifting. She was very very slow to arrive (over ten minutes seated before she showed up) and she immediately got my drink order wrong, when I told her she just stared at me and grabbed my drink and came back with the correct one but a lemon and not the lime I requested. When I asked for my lime - she literally walked back with it IN THE PALM OF HER HAND!!! Three different times she removed food or drinks from our table without asking if we were done with them. She was never apologetic or kind when she made a mistake and really seemed very unaware of the "service" job altogether. My friend and I are overly nice to service people. I still tipped her very well! But the lunch was a disaster from start to finish and NOT the first time experience or birthday lunch I hoped to provide for her. We started with the goat cheese appetizer- it was good as always tho a tad too much garlic. My friend got the chicken melt after asking our server several menu questions and not getting clear answers. And I went with the turkey chili but it was too spicy for me so I took it home. The server asked if I'd like some additional chips to take home with it and never brought them. We have long loved Whiskey Cake and this wasn't a good look at all to have my friend as a returning customer. The server who brought out our appetizers was very lovely- and when she stirred the goat cheese for us and got oil everywhere, including on me, she apologized profusely. Mistakes happen- and her response to it was professional and kind. And THAT is the star I'm giving. She gets the star. The rest would be a very sad zero.

We went in on a Sunday afternoon so it was not too busy at the time. My girlfriend and I like to be seated at a "low top" because she has back issues with climbing up into higher seating. We don't mind waiting for that as inside "low tops" are limited. The hostess was very nice, as they always are. She took us to the middle of the venue to seat us and then walked away while we were waiting on our server. I stood up to walk around the table so that I could sit next to her instead of across from her. She stood up to move over and pulled out the chair next to her so she could sit back down. At that moment the new general manager walked up, and without offering any explaination, took the chair out of my girlfriend's hand and said, "We need this table for another party." He walked away and left us standing there without offering us another solution, and apology or calling the hostess over to seat us elsewhere. We were left standing there dumbfounded and looking around unsure of what to do. We started walking back toward the front of the venue as we spotted another open "low top" near there. At that same time the female hostess saw what had happened to us, and she started to walk toward us. Meanwhile, another male server - acting as host - seated some people at the new table we were about to get to with the hostess. We got mad and said, "it feels like someone is playing a game on us!" The hostess apologized as she could see we were aggitated. It was not her fault, and we do not blame her. We blame the rudeness of the general manager. We left to go eat somewhere else. This is not the first incident with this general manager, though. A few days prior, we were eating in there and had a good vantage point of one of the side kitchen entries off to the left of the bar toward the ffront half of the venue. A bus boy sloshed water all over the floor while moving wet dishes in a container back into the kitchen. He didn't have a chance to clean it up because he was buy walking back and forth doing other things. No big deal. The general manager walks up and proceeds to yell at another female server about the water who had absolutely nothing to do with the spill After she walks away, he did not take any real care to clean the spot up himself. He comes back after a minute to clean it up but not with a mop or anything. He takes two towels off the bar and mushes it around on the floor with his foot. He , then, proceeds to kick the wet towels under the bar before walking away. Talk about a safety and hygene issue. This kind of left a bad taste in our mouth. He does not treat his venue or his staff very nicely. We wantedd to get up and tell the other female server that we were sorry for her. This venue would be great if they would fire this rude and sloppy general manager. It's a shame because this used to be one of our favorite venues to go to all the time. The experience is starting to feel cheapened and sullied now.

My partner and I recently moved to the area and were scouting for places with gluten free options…read more Bavette was at the top of the list. Indeed, much of their menu is gluten free. Service was great...attentive without being overbearing. Our drink order arrived quickly, and the flight of shareables + salad that we ordered came out quickly as well. We selected the spinach dip with corn chips and salsa, deviled eggs, croquettes, and estilo gaucho. Our favorite was the croquettes with their very tasty coulis and remoulade sauce. However, everything was fresh with great flavor. Delicious! We also appreciated Bavette's open kitchen, comfortable booths, and classy vibe. We'll be back.

The inside was smaller than I anticipated but I really liked the aesthetic of the place. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted by the very friendly host and taken to a nice booth seat. My server Joshua was also friendly and made quite a few recommendations on what to order; I decided on the deviled eggs to start and got the butcher burger for my entree. I can't believe I'd encounter the day I didn't like a deviled egg. I didn't care for these deviled eggs at all. Something about the seasoning in the eggs didn't work for me, I thought the egg white part was really thick and tough and the candied bacon on top didn't work for me as far as cohesive flavors. The burger though made up for it, the burger was very good. I could taste the quality of the meat and the toppings weren't carrying the burger, the meat was thoroughly seasoned throughout, I really enjoyed it. The fries were great as well, skinny, crisp and piping hot. I wasn't a fan of their ketchup, there was some flavor in it that I didn't appreciate. I got a pistachio tres leches to go and it was just ok. I love tres leches cake, so naturally, if it's on the menu, I'm ordering it and I could see this being a fan favorite but it was way too wet to me, like drenched to the point where the cake disintegrated in my mouth and I prefer a less saturated tres leches. Other than the burger, everything else was kinda mid. I do wish the menu had more options, and honestly, I don't see myself returning just for the burger. But the burger was good, so try it for yourself
