Highly disappointed in this place. I'm in line waiting and the cashier told me to give her a second which I did. Another guy comes to the front and the lady behind me walks right up because she had a call in order and he immediately starts helping her. Took her payment and everything. All while I'm still waiting. Not sure if they need to hire more people or what. But I was turned off. Then the food tasted like something we can make at home. Im new the area and my son and I wanted to try a new spot. Not sure why so many say this burger place is good because it's far from that. My son whose 11 was so disappointed in his burger he even said Burger King does a better job. Disappointment majorly on the burgers. Won't recommend if your looking for a home style burger or even a tasty one. The onion rings tasted the best. I gave it 2 stars because it carries Big Red and Root Beer in a glass bottle. 2 stars because the guy behind the counter is so nice. My girl friend got tacos and I got a burger that the guy recommended. It was a real POS..First of all it came out in 2 mins and the place was dead so I know they didn't cook it to order. I asked for it to be cooked medium well and it came out medium rare. It looked like they just microwaved it. The bun was so soggy with grease after a few minutes. I didn't have the heart to ask for a refund because they guy behind the counter was so cool. Darn! Wrote a long review then Yelp was acting up so I'll have to sum it up now because I'm lazy. Food was good and interesting. The k-style fries are a must have! The tacos I enjoyed better than the tacos but that's only because I don't like messy burgers. I guess the old Carl's Jr. slogan "if it doesn't get all over the place it doesn't belong in your face" isn't for me.... I would definitely come back to try the turkey burger! Food was good but service was above and beyond. Too bad I didn't catch the young lady's name that was working Monday night (October 5th) so I could give her some Yelp recognition. My favorite burger joint period, not just in Dallas. Been a customer here for over 5 years and the consistency in their food over the years has not changed! Perfect balance of flavor--lightly sweet and savory patty that's got some serious griddle love, good level of vinegar from the sautéed kimchi, melty cheese and sauce that's just thicc enough for your desire all sandwiched in two beautifully chewy, sweet, and perfectly griddled buns that are, dare I say it, better than Hawaiian buns. Came here on a Monday afternoon because I was craving a big juicy burger. I really just wanted a simple burger, but this was suggested and we came here. It was pretty emptied, assuming everyone's at work because it was a weekday. I like the ambiance. It's pretty modern with the fun industrial feel. I rarely eat burgers, but whenever I do, I usually go to LA burger. Classic burgers with a korean twist to it. I love their k-fries and the LA burger, but sometimes I can end my meal feeling a bit sluggish. Let's be real, though, because what burger doesn't leave you feeling like that? At least my taste buds and stomach is satisfied. The fountain drinks there are not really my cup of tea so I just stick to the water. The tacos are also pretty good. I'm not a big fan of the tortillas they use because it has a strange texture to me, but the meat on it is really good. I think what really makes me come eat the burger as often as I crave it is the bun they use. It has the crispy edges and the soft and fluffy center type of texture and is a bit sweet, which is just so mouth watering. The rice bowls seem pretty basic in my opinion, but if you are here and craving for that rice bowl then go for it! 10/10 would recommend this place. read more

Hard to say! I ordered the Namaste w/string fries to go via Yelp. The food was ready in a short amount of time and temperature was right at pick up. If you choose the wheat burger bun just know it's pretty thick! The veggie burger was pretty average. I'm guessing it was a frozen patty. For reference it doesn't taste like meat( like impossible burger or beyond burger) and I was more than ok with that. The fries are unseasoned and a bit greasy actually. I haven't tried anything else and they offer some interesting options and the kids seem to like it more than I...so I would at least give it a try ?! read more

AMAZING BUNS!! My friends took me here for lunch and I was SUPER IMPRESSED! Inside was really clean with Korean writing on the wall and also got a free soda with a check in (YAYAYAY) I ordered the LA burger because I felt like I had to and I was glad I ordered that burger! It was delicious! It was flavorful and the bun was O M G! So soft yet crusty outside...can't really describe it...so you guys should ALL go try this place!! Swung through here recently to get a quick burger fix, believing from the plethora of reviews that this place was going to be next level. I left thoroughly disappointed - not with the restaurant, but with Yelp. My comrades here hyped this Smash Burger knockoff to a level it would never match. My OG Burger was virtually indistinguishable from a Single from Wendy's. That's not a terrible thing, I hold Wendy's in high regard as far as national mega burger chains go, but it's absolutely pathetic that this place isn't serving something more upscale. My wife had an El Jefe, which is basically a bacon avocado cheeseburger. She was turned off by the somewhat undercooked bacon that she pulled off the burger. We both noted that we enjoyed the soft potato buns the burgers were served on. Neither burger comes with sides, so we ordered some sweet potato fries. They were fine. Then they really got my goat by not serving either Coke or Pepsi products at their soda fountain. The no-name third party soda they have instead tastes like swill. The ice tea they have is even worse. In the unlikely event I'm ever back, I'd stick to water. read more

Really good burgers. We tried the LA, the Holy Smokes, and the K-Town. The beef is juicy and the buns are perfection. The flavor combinations are honestly not all that different, but all are fresh and tasty. The K-Style straight cut fries are also pretty good but get soggy quickly, so I wouldn't recommend them for take out or delivery. Staff is friendly and helpful. Drink selection is ok -- fountain drinks are local and the milkshakes are decent but not amazing. As the name suggests, burgers are the real star here. Will return. read more

Get the fries: pick your favorite fries (regular, curly, sweet potato) then K-Style them! They will add spicy mayo, cheese, bulgogi, kimchi, onions, and cilantro to your fries and make some awesome bomb ass fries! 2. Tacos; three street tacos with your choice meat (bulgogi, spicy pork, or chicken). This in my opinion is the biggest bang for your buck, three delicious tacos filled to the brim with meat and toppings for $7. 3. Burgers: decent, pick one that sounds good to you and I'm sure you'll enjoy it! 4. Milkshakes: $5 for a thick tasty milkshake, oreo is my fav. Order at front, get your drink and condiments, then wait for your food to be brought to you, and enjoy! I like this location better than the Hmart one because it's larger and newer. read more

Oh. My. Kimchi. I just had the best burger I've had in the Dallas area - better than Hop Doddy, better than Rodeo Goat. I don't know how their other burgers compare but the LA Burger is amazing. The flavors sound like a weird combination and too much going on but the end result is soooo good. A little sweet, a fair amount of spicy and not greasy. Also the fries were tasty. I'm a regular at the LA burger locations in Carrollton. I've tried plenty of items on the menu and they're all good! My go-to's are the K-Town burger and the Southwest salad. You definitely need to try the sides k-style. Sometimes they run out of stuff but the staff is always nice and the service is quick. Great spot to go for a quick bite! read more

Came early on this year with a friend because we had a Groupon for the place and am only getting around to writing a review now. The first thing that happened was that our Groupon was declined at the counter, as we were told we couldn't use it for lunch, even though when we purchased it there was no such caveat in the fine print. However, that was fine - friend and I were still interested in trying out this place because we love burgers are were intrigued by the fusion. I got the Bonzai burger with bacon added on, and my friend ordered OG burger with no onions and tomatoes. They accidentally mixed up our order somehow and ended up putting the bacon on her burger instead of mine, which wasn't great since she doesn't eat bacon, so we had to send it back and get them to fix it. It also took them a couple of tries to get our order of K-fries right, as they kept forgetting that we'd asked for no cilantro on them (neither of us eat it). The workers at the restaurant didn't seem too happy about having to remake our orders. In the end, we weren't super impressed with the fries either, as the weight of the toppings caused the fries underneath to get pretty soggy. My burger was fine, but I prefer my burgers with more meat and less bun, and the buns here were huge. I'm not sure I'd come back to this location, as it wasn't exactly super busy when we came in so there wasn't even that excuse to explain why we kept having to send back our food. read more

Then all that deliciousness in the middle...ahhhhhhhh! Next were the sweet potato fries done K-style...OMGosh....SOOOOOO GOOD!!!!! My hubs and I shared a Far East Salad - and according to him, the chicken was on pointe! I only had a couple bites - I was fully stuffed after the fries and about 3/4 of my burger!!! I had to take pics of the restroom walls...because for me, eating out is an experience - and not only was the women's restroom clean, it had so many cute things on the walls I'm definitely coming back here again - and again! YES. It never disappoints. The bread, YES. The patty, YES. The fries, YES. I drove 20 min out of my way on a Sunday because this was apparently the only location open, but I'm not mad about it. The girl who answered the phone (because I had to confirm they were really open) was really friendly and I wanted us to be friends irl. The guy who took my order patiently stood there as I stared at the menu behind him (even though I always get the same thing.) The hardest part is deciding over fries, curly fries, or onion rings. I wonder if they have a mix of all 3. If not, that would be much appreciated. I always get the psychedelic mushroom burger and it's consistently satisfying. It's also the perfect size! I honestly just ordered here because I need a second burger place and I love the Stubborn soda; specifically, the Cherry Tarragon and they had it with delivery. I tried the Turkey Burger which had some issues; it was good. However, the bun was super stale and I had two bottoms and not a top. The lettuce was wilted, tomato old and guac was plentiful but not fresh. I did like the meat but was not very hot and the cucumber were awesome. The sauce is like thousand island - I could take it or leave it. A fresher dressing of dill or something would be better for this burger. The strawberry shake was good but not $4 good. I'm excited to try the hot dog and skinny fries. Please change your cups because this is Texas and Styrofoam would be much better with tips ice and for your shakes. read more

This place was pretty good. The service was fast and good. The menu had a lot of good options including K-Style fries (extra $4). I personally didn't think making the fries k-style was worth it but it was a pretty good portion size (despite it being take out). In addition, I ordered the K-Town burger. Although the burger had really good filling and flavor, their was too much of the burger bun. If there were a better bun to filling ratio, the burger would've been incredibly good.
