This is a SOLID burger joint! My favorite is the LA burger topped with kimchi and a fried egg!! Say no more! Really great depth of flavors and perfectly cooked meat patty (crispy exterior and juicy interior). They also have one of the best buns out there. I ate at the Irving location but I don't recall it being too memorable. I decided to give LA Burger another try---at the Carrollton location. Girl cashier was very friendly and helpful. I liked being able to put any patty on any combo. I liked mushrooms so I chose the psychedelic burger with a turkey patty on wheat bread. OMG..it was delish!!! My sister has the Asian Tacos (1 beef, 1 pork, 1 chicken)--you can choose any combo of tacos. That was also delish. My bf had the LA burger and he loved it too. We ordered the Kim Chi fries (good portion) to share. The Kim Chi was a bit sweet, but was still good. Never have I been to a restaurant and liked everything we ordered (or was I that hungry? *shrugs*). Will definitely be back! read more

If I had known what I have been missing I would have gone there the first day I got to Carrollton! I got the K-town burger and K-fries, and they were both amazing. Kimchi on a burger is an absolutely brilliant idea! It's spicy and tangy and delicious. They also put kimchi on the K-fries, along with bulgogi (barbecued beef) and cheese. Beautiful! To top everything off, the staff here is extremely friendly and helpful. We had several questions about the menu, and they patiently explained everything to us. I will definitely be back often. LA burger is a pretty awesome burger joint. I usually get their turkey burger without cheese. If you're shooting to be healthy make sure you order your sandwich without a buttered bun. I have tasted their famous Korean fries, I think they are not for my flavor profile. Every time I go there the staff is friendly and the burger is always cooked to perfection. LA burger has a lot of unique and inventive burgers on the menu. Some of the burgers are inspired by Korean flavors. For what you get and what you pay it is well worth it. I finally have the chance to review this place! I've been hearing about it for so long but never had the opportunity to come this way. My friend and her husband wanted to try it so I was in. First off, the parking. I guess I wasn't surprised it was filled up, being a Saturday at lunchtime. I parked at the back of the building. I wish there were legitimate sidewalks from the back to the front but traffic wasn't too hectic for me to walk on the concrete/lawn. Space: The double door feature freaked me out a bit. I didn't expect to see darkness when I opened the door. Luckily no one was behind me to witness my momentary "uncool". There is a bar plus the standard tables and booths. Service: you order at the counter and they bring the food to you. The guy at the counter wasn't very happy (not sure why) and when I asked if I get one taco for $4.95 he said yes, confusing me. That's why I wanted to get bulgogi and pork, and he was like, so you want 6? Maybe either put it on the menu clearly or explain it better. The manager I think came by the table and asked if our food was good, which was nice. Food: I hadn't really thought that far ahead to what I would order because most reviews were positive. I saw the LA burger but then quickly opted for the k tacos. I wanted to compare them to the tacos from SsahmBBQ. I would say they are comparable. Although SsahmBBQ slightly has an edge only because I think food trucks are more fun and challenging to catch. That and you know the time frame between you and the food made is literally less than a minute. So it's hot and fresh. My tacos tasted at least 3 minutes long. ;) I got the bulgogi (sweet beef) and tried to order the pork also but the cashier eyed me like, so you want 6? Basically calling me a pig. So anyway, 3 tacos are for $4.95. I would say if you're starving, get two orders. That or get a side of kimchi fries. But I got the bulgogi tacos (3) and shared some kimchi fries that left me comfortably full (vs. omgosh I can't breathe, full). My friend's husband got the LA Burger (kimchi and fried egg), which he liked a lot. My friend got the West Coast burger with sautéed onions and jalapeños which she liked also. The kimchi fries cannot be wrongly made. Everything was a bit warm, but it was still good. I definitely want to come back and try the burgers, and the hotdog I heard was pretty good.
