Lots of great cocktail options to drink poolside. Everything is typical Fontainebleau/Miami Beach overpriced with sandwiches hovering around the $30 mark, but you know what you're getting yourself into here. To their credit, the food was yummy. My friend ordered the lamb pita and I ordered the Moroccan Chicken Sandwich. The chicken sandwich has an olive tapenade that blends well with the chicken (I'm not a big fan of olives and I was still able to enjoy this dish). Our server was very friendly and fun to chat with. He also ensured we got an umbrella over us as soon as possible, which definitely came in extra handy when it started to pour.

Had a really great meal! I ordered swordfish which was great but also tried my friends chicken kabob and it was fantastic! Also the Buratta appetizer was heavenly with figs and a spicy jam. Loved it! Service was superb! Reservations indicates "inside seating" is available but it's not, La Cote is all outside seating, poolside but beautiful and steps from the beach. They have an upper deck but it happened to be closed today. I imagine it's an even prettier view.

    Sea Bass - very tasty!

We were meeting out of town family who were staying in Bal Harbour. We wanted a different scene and thought about La Cote for the views and ambiance. It was too windy for second level seating but we got a table by the DJ and bar area. Really fun and energetic vibe! It was loud near the DJ (duh) so make sure you choose your seating accordingly! Server was great with his recommendations and checked on us periodically! For app, we got the roasted beets - delicious Entrees: Persian kebab - grilled to perfection and the Sea Bass which was divine! Yes it's pricey here but it's a hotel restaurant (in south beach) so kinda expected and but worth it for the ambiance

The best paella I have ever had in my life. Absolutely delicious and so was the Wagu beef, A5, and hangar steak.

Fontainebleu has a few different restaurants on premises, and La Cote is a casual option near the pool, overlooking the beach. For poolside dining- the food is not bad at all. The fries are great, the sea bass was cooked well, and the octopus was tender. The flavors aren't punchy, but the food is again- not bad. My group also tried the lamb pita and chicken kabob plate which was generously portioned. The only reason I'm giving a 3 star rating instead of a 4 star is the price. With included gratuity, expect $70 a head for apps, entrees, and drinks which is steep for poolside dining- even in Miami Beach.

I got hungry and in need of some food. I wasn't happy with the Glow Bar food menu so I decided to check La Cote's menu. The hostess and the waiters are friendly and professional. I decided to go with the chicken kebab with rice and veggies (Burnt Citrus, Turmeric, Fragrant Rice Pilaf, Preserved Lemon Yogurt). I really enjoyed this dish. Also, they have frozen frose! I was really excited. I sat by the bar and noticed a DJ playing music close by. The bar is popping with happy bartenders and customers. Every now and then the bartenders blasted cool air at the customers. It draws a lot of attention and the customers love it. It's so much better than the Glow bar. Come here if you want food & drinks.

First of all the vibes were immaculate love the dj the energy was definitely giving Ibiza country side with white decorum. The service was amazing we waited for a table for all of 5 mins and our server was nice, knowledgeable and handsome lol. The food was definitely the star of the show at first bite I was happy and wanted to order both plates again. Go with some money though because it was a little pricey but literally worth every penny it was too good!

Love the menu, one of my fav restaurants in Miami. I also appreciate they allow non-resort guests to dine. They offer unique Mediterranean dishes & everything is packed with flavor. It's such a great vibe being nearby the bar & DJ.

Ambience and service was beautiful and I appreciated all the staff there that took care of me so dearly. The food was just not up to par for a restaurant in the FountainBleu Hotel in my opinion. I understand that there has been a lot of changes for them regarding management but the menu is quite small and not very cohesive. Additionally, the food was just worth the price and simply not good. I will say I loved the Pina Colada I had it was very well balanced and delicious. I got the wings and the calamari for starters which weren't too bad maybe a 7/10. For the entree I got the chicken kebab and they were just a huge let down, just dry and lacking flavor. I hope management decides to bring back some of the old popular dishes or continue to add on to this one but some change is needed. This spot has a lot of potential.

Decided to pop in for lunch to see the menu board they had just outside the establishment by the boardwalk to be a bit different from the one that was given to me. My husband and I had are eye on the chicken schnitzel lunch that they didn't have anymore so that was a bit of a bummer so we just decided to get an app and some water to hydrate a bit. We got the calamari and it was really good. Nice tender pieces, crispy light exterior and nice seasoning. It was garnished with crispy basil and peppers and lemon. They have a fun vibes going on in there especially by the bar with a dj so if your a day drinker come check it out. Our server was great attentive and fast.

Good food and vibe. Service took a bit of time and it was a before the rush, but all in all the server was very friendly. Pros: Beach access. Good food. Friendly service. Security guards guarding the entrance to the fountain blue pool area, so not just anyone can wander in. Cons: The key to the 4 star rating is the minimal bathrooms that are available. literally one stall and one unrinal. For a restaurant this size and it looks like a restroom from like a motel 6 by a beach.

Grabbed lunch while staying at the hotel and it was decent. The menu is limited and overpriced for the options but the food quality is decent and fine in a pinch

We were whisked inside to the intimate, dimly lit interior with a DJ table tastefully tucked away in the back of the space. Service was welcoming but overall, not quite as warm and attentive as I've experienced at other places in town. We started off with the Turkish Manti Dumplings, which were the standout of the night. The complexity yet restraint of flavor, balancing indescribable buttery, roasted, earthy notes with a touch of umami and subtle tanginess from the yogurt. The Mezze Sampler was a nice option for trying three of the dips. All very tasty, but I've had slightly better elsewhere. The Sweet Jeweled rice was the other standout with flavor and textural variety that made each bite pop. I found the Roasted Brussels Sprouts undercooked and lacking the same level of flavor as the other plates. The weakest dish of the evening. The Grilled Whole Bronzino got top marks from the meat eaters at the table. Overall, 4/5 stars for a delicious meal but with tough competition around town limiting my ability to hit that 5.

But, when I saw they were advertising a Lamb Gyro for $12 (Tuesdays), I took the leap. Seems it wasn't that far to jump. When I requested the Lamb Gyro, the server pointed to an entree on the menu for me to approve. I made sure there wasn't another (re: pricier) offer. There was... it was the one he suggested. The gyro itself consisted of a bland (Tzatziki?) sauce that struggled to find my taste buds. Lamb (typically) has a gamey/slightly sweet flavor; these cuts seemed to be found from behind their refrigerator, (not from inside). They certainly weren't cut fresh from a spit, as they were old and nearly tasteless. The included slices of onion and peppers, delegated to the pita bottom, (instead of intermingling) barely helped. The French fries (included in the price) were the most flavorful part of the meal; although, they were an insult, rather than accompaniment to the experience.
