First time here. Wasn't a huge fan when it was Lee's, but I'm a fan now! Spacious and clean area with little snacks, goodies, and various drinks available! Counter person was friendly and so was the person that brought our food! The banh mi sandwich was nice and fresh! The veggies were crisp and light. The flavor was on point, and the bread! The bread had a nice toast and was still soft on the inside! Great local spot! If ya haven't been, ya need to!

Quick friendly service at this casual spot with ample seating in a spacious interior. Standard menu for a Vietnamese cafe with a decent selection of specialty drinks. We had Beef Rolls, Fried Egg Rolls, and Ube Coffee. Although the presentation was standard, the prices were cheap and the food was fresh and tasty.

My boyfriend and I love coming to this place! The breads for the bahn mi is always fresh, and you can't beat the price. The pate is flavorful, and it's the best I've ever had! The strawberry matcha is also delicious and not too sweet.

The corndogs are my favorite item from the menu and a must try if you haven't yet. I like the smoothies too. They offer sandwiches and other hot foods too. Menu isn't big but for a quick bite, La Ca Bakery is great!

A lovely eatery literally. It's reasonably priced with great food at good prices. I got Donuts coffee & bacon/egg/cheese croissant sandwiches. I'd never been, but noticed ppl frequent this place a lot as I saw 5 ppl come for pick up/pre orders meaning they are legit and good to go.

This is what happens when a Lee's sandwiches goes out of business and others buy it up and try to keep the sandwiches and expand the menu to include trendy donuts and foods. This place is still busy and looks to be making a lot of money

Great cafe in Hayward with a variety of coffee and tea drinks, banh mis, spring rolls, buns, bowls, and mochi donuts. I had the ube coffee and mushroom and taro buns (2 buns per flavor). My friend had a tea lemonade and a Thai tea mochi donut. The buns were tasty and the coffee was strong with great ube foam. I tried some of my friend's donut and the Thai tea flavor was apparent. Service was friendly though a bit disorganized as they didn't seem to a system to let people know their orders were ready. My order was also given to me in a big paper bag even though I didn't say that I wanted it to go. Not a big deal as I save paper bags for recycling but odd that they assumed I was taking my order to go when I didn't specify this. I think my order was ~$14, which I expected for a drink and two bun orders. Though they have a parking lot, space is somewhat limited with multiple business. I had to park behind the building and had difficulty getting out of my parking space because there wasn't enough room to turn around. Though the location is a bit out of the way, I would come back if in the area.

I was at La Ca Bakery & Cafe to buy 2 Banh MIs for Lunch. After ordered my 2 Banh MIs for Lunch!!! Then I saw that they had 3 Fruity Pebbles Mochi nuts Donuts in the Display case .. That's when my Sweet Tooth kicked in !!! So I brought 3 of the Mochi Nuts Fruity Pebbles and Wolfed them down like a Sugar Junkie and Washed them down with my Coconut Water!!!! They were Delicious !!! Service was Good and Fast !! Place was Fairly Clean . I received my 2 Bahn MIs and rolled home!! I ate my Banh MIs when I got home. They were Good!! Well Constructed and a good Mix of Ingredients!! Flavors were there!!! For all these Reasons. This Is A Baller On A Budget Approved Establishment!!! I Keep My Pimp Hand Strong !!!

    Menu drinks

Dragon berry not good. Pink paradise the flavor is good but there was too much ice and was not blended thoroughly. Strawberry matcha was good. Total was $20.89

I went to CSU East Bay for an orientation when my family and I stumbled on this absolute gem in Hayward. We literally dream of their banh mi! Straight when we walked in, we all loved the vibe of the cafe - it was spacious with cute yellow walls and mochi donuts on display. I got a grilled chicken banh mi and a boba drink, and both were delicious. However, they have many options like the aforementioned mochi donuts, K-dogs, and other desserts. My family tried their other banh mi and loved it - they had nice moisture from what I'm assuming is a nicely buttered roll, fresh vegetables, and well-cooked meat. Not to mention, the portion is pretty sizeable. The servers were nothing crazy - just the normal amount of helpful and patient, which I always appreciate. Either way, I always make it a point to come back to this place when we're in the East Bay - such a great spot!

This place is delicious. It's also Mochinut, an Asian style bakery selling these cool looking donuts. I ordered the bowl with shrimp and pork. Delicious with the peanut sauce and vegetables. The place is trendy and the service is pretty fast after you get your order in. My only complaint is the portions are small for the price of $14-$16 per bowl or entree item.

    Mochi donuts
    Tria X.

Ordered a dozen mochi donuts online 3 days prior. The order was ready via text message and pick up was easy, showed the order confirmation to staff. The restaurant was clean, spacious, and combined with another snack restaurant. The mochi donuts were so cute and with the decorations, warm, crispy, and not too sweet which I love. I'm not a huge sweet fan but I'd come back for these.

Both items were very good and filling. I like the fact that I can choose the size of my Bun Rieu as most places only offer one size and it's usually for Pho rather than Bun Rieu. Might try their Bun Bo Hue next time. The place gets pretty packed around lunch time so it's a good sign that it's a popular joint for lunch. We arrived just after 12pm. The staff greeted us with a smile, answered our questions, and were friendly throughout the visit. I ordered a bowl of pho with a side of spring rolls, and both were delicious. Everything tasted fresh, the flavors were well balanced, and the portions were satisfying without feeling overly heavy. One feature I really appreciated was the ability to choose from a small, medium, or large bowl. It's a nice option whether you're looking for a lighter lunch or a hearty meal. There are still several menu items I'd like to try, so I'll definitely be back. My only suggestion is to be patient if you're driving because parking can be a challenge during busy times. Once you get inside, though, the food and service make it well worth the effort.

They never went to Le Paradis and we wanted to go somewhere our baby would enjoy - hence - noodle soup and Vietnamese food came to mind. Alas we got here and the parking lot in the back was empty... we walked in and it was empty and this lovely lady greeted us and told us to sit wherever we wanted and moved flowers aside to give us the bigger table. They had high chairs which was great! Divey vibes with display cases of baked goods and some potted flowers and plants - cozy! My hubs looked at the menu and made eye contact with our friends and said "uhoh - all english menu has me nervous. Pretty Empty. Nervous." Then the lady who greeted us - she joyfully came out with a bowl of chicken pho and noodles for our baby and said "I take your order but baby can eat first!" - she was so thoughtful and sweet and the bowl was perfect! Bits of chicken and noodles and clear broth... my baby loved it! She took our orders and the food came! I got the BanhXeo and it was big and full of chicken and some shrimps some sprouts and onions and the crepe had such great coconut flavor and texture. My hubs liked his Bun Bo Hue and our friends enjoyed the vermicelli noodle dish as well. As we sat and enjoyed the goodness of our meal that was when the traffic steadily moved through - saw about 7 to 8 different folks walking in and making orders and waiting for their meal and leaving - and some pick ups. It turned out to be a very busy restaurant. The kind lady - she then came back to our table after the dinner rush of to go orders were through - she chatted our table up some and she was telling us that she was the baker and gave us a small bag of macaroons. Her name is Alice and she is so kind. She mentioned that lunch can be very very busy because of the workforce coming through - but I'm glad we were there for dinner and got a nice laugh and conversation with her... the outside was filled with pots of flowers and plants lined along the parking lot and she had some outdoor cats just nestled in the plants. A lovely experience. Her macaroons were so yummy too! We will definitely keep in mind coming here when we're in the area!

We ordered five dishes: seafood soup, choo chee fish fillet, pad kee mao, roti canai, and rice. Unfortunately, on our way home we realized we forgot the to-go bag with all the leftover food at the restaurant. I immediately called the restaurant and asked to speak to the manager. I was told they had already thrown the bag away because they waited for a while and were preparing to close. I returned to the restaurant around 8:45 PM to ask about it in person. I spoke with one waitress who said there was no manager available. Another waitress came over and I explained the situation again. She said there was nothing they could do, and the conversation became unpleasant. When I expressed my frustration, she told me to go ahead and contact a lawyer and then told me to leave the store. I understand mistakes happen and that food may sometimes be thrown away for safety reasons, but the way the situation was handled was disappointing and unprofessional. A little understanding or better customer service would have gone a long way. We used to enjoy coming here, but this experience left a bad impression.

Found unit with "Taste of Asia" brochure on window. Just before the gate. Bingo! Stood in front of open door until Vietnamese lady came out with my order. $21 cash. Unknown if Zelle has tax added to it. Tipped a little. Lady hesitated to give change. Offerings (Vietnamese): street food, drinks, coffee. Sips: Cafe Muoi Bien (sea salt foam Vietnamese coffee, 7)-Viet coffee, sea salt foam, condensed milk. -coffee didn't look full. No doubt foam on top shrank/mixed into coffee. -bold coffee with alternating sweet & salty tastes depending on sipping foam or condensed milk. Bites: Banh Trang Cuon (Vietnamese Special roll, 14). There's also a salad version with same ingredients & no wrapping. -dipping sauce had sweet & savory notes. -rice roll had dominant theme of beef jerky. The surrounding nuanced taste was a symphonic medley of carrots, quarter sectioned boiled eggs, coriander, green mango, dried shrimp, fried onions, peanuts & green mangos, 5 stars Worthy! Quality: freshly premade. Quantiy: ample enough for a meal. Would repeat. *Taste of Asia "passport" given to win prizes from buying from food vendors in Oakland Chinatown & San Leandro Asian businesses. May is Asian American Native Hawaiian & Pacific Islander Heritage Month
